The cassoulet was amazing
A (not so) hidden gem that always delivers! Perfect for everyone, but especially those with a discerning taste for authentic French/Belgian cuisine. Everything is expertly prepared and served by a top notch staff that is professional and enthusiast! It gets busy sometimes, but it’s worth the wait. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and it just keeps getting better!
Excellent meal and bottle of wine. As always, the mussels did not disappoint.
Splendid neighborhood restaurant. Best burger in town!!
Thank you for your comment ! We hope to welcome you back soon
Excellent food. We had both fish and beef dishes and enjoyed them very much. Desserts (profiteroles and mousse) were delicious. Low noise level so good for conversation.
Et Voila is a great neighborhood restaurant. It is classic Belgian bistro fare done very well.
Alex’s cake was amazing
Excellent, as usual.
GOOD FOOD! TOO MUCH NOISE!
The food at Et Voila is very good. It Is a cramped and vibrant neighborhood restaurant. Very lively! However one person’s “vibrant” atmosphere is another’s conversation-blocking loudness. The mussels steamed with endive and cream with sweet potato were outstanding. The portion was so large that I could not finish. My friend enjoyed the salmon. Deserts at a nearby table looked lovely, especially the profiteroles ,but we were too full to try it.
The sole was fabulous but the mussels were disappointing. The mussels are usually fabulous but they fell far short on Thursday evening.
Hadn’t been in a while but still very good. Expected a little more out of the sun choke soup but the frisée salad and bread were great
Always good food and great service. Opted for the salmon this time Vs mussels & enjoyed. Salad excellent, a burger & mussels gratin at the table were spoken highly of.
Love being at Et Volia! Always treated well and the food, ambiance, and service are exceptional.
Thank you so much for your kind comment ! We are really happy that you love coming at Et Voila !
Lunch with son and grandmother
Love Et Voila!!! The food is prepared so beautifully and there are so many great dishes to choose from. I have been coming to the restaurant for many years. It was a favorite of my Mom's. My only only compaint, was that there was only one size (5oz.) for a glass of wine, which didn't seem very generous for the price. I would suggest offering a 6 or 9 oz. size glass of wine. Otherwise, everything was great!
Great place, as always! The ambience and the food are stellar.
Thank you for your comment ! Always a pleasure to host you and your family. Happy New Year Sylvain Frances General Manager
This is our favorite restaurant for any special occasion. The food is always good especially the mussels that you can’t have any where else like this... the escargot is very good too... perfect season! The service is excellent! We’re celebrating New Year’s Eve tonight and all the dishes are very special and delicious especially the venison cooked perfectly... I believe we have been here about 10 times already and the restaurant never fails us... we never come back to any restaurant more than 3 times but we love it here and feel like at home ...
Dear Mimi, Thank you for your kind comment, We deeply appreciate to see you again at Et Voila. Happy new year, Sylvain Frances General Manager
Et Voila has become our favorite neighborhood restaurant. Delicious food and great service. If it’s available, try the walnut soup.
Thank you for your kind feedback ! We have few mushroom and CHESTNUTS left, we are changing for JERUSALEM ARTICHOKE Soup. You can come and try it !
This review pings Open Table as much as Et Voila. I opened my Open Table App at 6:40 pm. Open Table offered a table at 7:15 Aand every quarter hour thereafter. I took 7:15. We arrived exactly at 7:15 to find the establishment packed and overflow lines waiting for a table. Our reservation was on Et Voila's computer but so apparently were several others for more or less the same time. Everyone seated was having a good time apparently and tables were turning over very fast. We had to wait about 45 minutes. Et Voila's staff tried very hard to keep us happy offering prosecco on the house. By the time we sat down our party had consumed more than a bottle of prosecco.
By the time we sat down, we were done for drinks though we each ordered a drink because we felt bad. Et Voila was out the cost of the prosecco and lost the sale of one more drink per person for the evening.
On the way out, EVERYONE apologized over and over again for the inconvenience. Good on them!
Love the bistro atmosphere. Food and service are terrific -- number of choices to please any palate.
The food is always good but this time my bronzini was way over salted. I ate it but suffered from salt overload (my rings would not go on my swollen fingers the next morning).
Mussels and fries were quite disappointing. Mannequin Pis restaurant in Olney much better.
Overall the food is quite underwhelming. Not impressed at all.
Great service and food from the moment we stepped in. Definitely recommend!
Thank you for your feedback, Chef Claudio and his entire team wish you a wonderful new year. Regards
Food was excellent. Cozy surroundings in the new, big room.
Thank you for your feedback, We wish you a Happy New Year
We have ennjoyed our meal, the venaison was spectacular cook to perfection, service was very friendly
Best burger in town, Belgian beer selection is top notch will be back
Thank you for your comment, We hope to see you soon
The service was average at best. The lunch menu was very limited. Paper napkins were tacky.
First time in this restaurant. The food was delicious and the service was great too. It definitely is a must if you live in the area.
We were seated in a side room that was overcrowded to the point of being a fire hazard. Our server was absent for long periods of time. The food was not as good as I remembered it from previous visits. My lobster burger tasted and looked processed. My husband’s hamburger was overcooked— instead of rare it was medium to medium well. The chocolate mousse as always was very good. It’s out of our way to go there, and not worth the trip anymore.
The food was very good but I felt we were being “rushed” so as to turn over the table on Christmas day.
As a regular I was a bit disappointed this time, the dishes got a bit smoky taste, oh well
Pricey , good food. Seated next to kitchen door and a ringing phone so poor ambiance. For this money I expect more, especially with everything a la carte. Not that special. I can go other places.
Good food; well served. Very pleasant Christmas Eve dinner!
Lovely small restaurant with great food & service. A great find.
Another fabulous visit to this gem of a restaurant. The food and service were outstanding. Our guests could not stop raving about Et Voila.
Family holiday dinner. Chef’s table never disappoints! Fabulous service and everything was delicious!
Thank you for your 5 stars ! Happy New Year
Good pate. Nicely presented
I should not have ordered risotto because I am not a great “fan” of mushrooms and the mushroom taste was predominant The niche Noel was outstanding.
Excellent as always but noisy and more expensive than I remembered.
Always a great stop on MacArthur Blvd. The service is absolutely the best and the burger....oh, that burger...is to die for. Great soup, Caesar Salad and fries!!!
One of our favorites. Don’t miss the onion soup, endive salad or the burgers. Of course, the mussels and beers are great.
