Dinner was wonderful; our waiter charming. We sat outside and when it looked like it might rain the manager scooted an umbrella over us without us asking. Et Voila is consistently great - and even with the necessary covid-19 precautions they some how pull it off so you can have a great meal and a lovely evening.
We sat outside and it was lovely and sanctioned off, so I felt safe.
Excellent Covid protocols. Food and service were great!
Busy restaurant offered poor service.
It was lovely to return to Et Voila to eat inside for the first time since the lock down. The food is as yummy as ever and the service was great. The panels put in for the pandemic also made the space quieter and more intimate than in the past--a plus. The profiteroles were especially wonderful; we had forgotten how great the chocolate sauce is. We will be back soon.
Great experience as always. Great food, service and drinks.
Excellent as always. Very crowded but the service was great. Always a pleasure to dine at Et Voila. The outdoor seating was perfect for Easter and the food was outstanding!
One of my top 3 favorite places in DC, always good and Claudio does an amazing job with everything he creates!
Another wonderful meal at et viola. They’re doing an outstanding job with so many accommodations for covid.
Service was great. Sat outside for Easter brunch, which enabled us to bring our well behaved pup - they even brought water for her. The torta caprese was out of this world!
This was our first dining inside experience in over a year, and Et Voila was the restaurant we chose. They did not disappoint, great food and service!
Our love for Et Voila has not held us back from ordering curbside pickups during the winter, and now to finally dine outdoors. The owners have added more outdoor dining amd heat lamps which makes it possible to eat outdoors during covid! We support this neighborhood gem. Enjoy a bowl of onion soup and throw a dart at the menu, its all great! Indoor dining as a wonderful small cafe ambiance.
It was all good. Nice outdoor space with plexiglass between tables. We went for Saturday brunch. Friend loves mussels and pronounced her excellent. I had eggs with mushrooms, bacon, wine sauce - great.
Amazing food. Moules are fabulous. Great service.
Food and service were excellent. Room we were in was rather dreary, but nicely Covid-proofed. Prices were high for salads and glasses of wine. We hit $134 before tip for two appetizers, two main courses, three glasses of wine and a cocktail. Enjoyed it though.
It is always a joy to dine at this reliably delicious neighborhood restaurant with its pretty setting and always courteous and efficient service. Bravo for hanging in there through the pandemic!
Outstanding food, excellent adherence to COVID protections.
Wonderful food and service as usual. Another excellent meal and we look forward to coming back!
We enjoyed our meal with friends on the front sidewalk very much. The mussels and the yellowtail tartare were scrumptious, accompanied by a delightfully hoppy German lager and the floating island was a perfect end to a delightful weekday lunch on a sunny, spring day. The servers were solicitous and unobtrusive. We will be sure to return.
Excellent food. The best in the Palisades. Efficient service.
Very nice and welcoming place that we visit regularly. Excellent food, impressive bear choice and excellent wines! And french music in the background - you can't ask for more!
One of the finest "go to" French restaurants in DC. Two well crafted martinis for starters. I had the heirloom beet salad and she the yellow tuna tartare, both were phenomenal in taste and presentation. My entrée was the Flemish stew and she the mussels, both delectable served at the correct temperature. Both entrees come with excellent French fries. A superb bottle of French wine, that didn't break the bank rounded out this superb dining experience. Our waitress Alexy was top shelf!
Best restaurant in DC hands down. It’s not precocious and doesn’t try hard to be extra fancy. What they do they do better than anyone else!
Our first time out to eat post vaccination - it was a delight to be with friends we hadn't seen in person for a year! Some started with the beet salad, which we found delicious. Others exclaimed about the French onion soup. The bread was wonderful. Several of us had mussels for the entree and they were plump and wonderful. Those who had the steak tartare and salad reported favorably, as did the friend who had the branzino. We shared profiteroles for dessert - how they manage to get the ice cream to just the right temperature that it doesn't melt is amazing. One member of the party spilled chocolate sauce on his shirt and the waiter was right there will a napkin and a bottle of seltzer. Service was very good. He could have brought the check a little sooner, but that is a nit. I can't wait to go back!
We dined outside. It felt pandemic free. A warm breeze, a pre-dinner cocktail that was perfect. The cheese puffs are a must and shared nicely by three people. The Caesar salad is something else and worth trying. Entrees enjoyed by all with no sharing due to COVID. And the wine list is reasonable.
Looking forward to returning.
Cosy place with sophisticated food. A rarity. An European gem.
Wonderful Birthday dinner for my husband
The barramundi was excellent while the moules were tough and chewy. The service was ok. Maybe it was because the staff was covering both inside and outside and handling the heating lamps which required a bit of adjusting.
A great place always but even more so with Covid restrictions. They do it right so you can enjoy their fabulous food abs service without worry.
A lovely place to have our first indoor restaurant meal in a year!
For our first dinner out in over a year, Et Voila did not disappoint! We sat outside at a table by the street. The arrangement of tables felt very safe with plexiglass dividing but not completely enclosing the tables. There were heaters available as well. The waiters were efficient but friendly. Tableware was brought in plastic wrappers, and bread brought in a bag, not a basket. The food was all wonderful. The goat cheese salad was perfectly dressed, not swimming in dressing. The salmon and mussels were both delicious. As it was a celebration, we ordered dessert, and the profiteroles were the perfect finale to our dinner. We will be back again!
Wonderful experience. Outdoor dining is offered on this quiet neighborhood street in DC. Highly recommend for brunch. The mussels are incredibly tender. The floating Island dessert is fabulous.
Delicious! Can’t wait to dine there again!
Everything about this restaurant is superb! The food is exceptional and the ambiance is cozy. A true neighborhood gem!
Everyone was very compliant with the Covid regulations. Thank you
Always superb food, service, and wines. Great for all occasions. One of my favorite menus in DC. The yellowtail tartare is outstanding.
Always great! Best Wine, and the most amazing mussels I have ever experienced.
