Et Voila! serves lunch, dinner and brunch.
Bartender is the best.Trout was excellent Bar set up works nicely as well...recommend reservations.
My second visit in one month. Consistently good.
Thank you very much for your feedback ! Hope to welcome back soon
The waiter was pushing for $100+ bottles of wine. He was also abnoxious the hanger steaks were melt in your mouth and very, very tender.
Our usual go-to French restaurant was closed so I did a random search. This restaurant will be on our go-to list now! Outstanding food!
Lovely restaurant. Fish is a particular star there. It is a little cozy in terms of seating among tables.
Thank you for you comment ! We will be glad to welcome you black very soon.
one of the excellent chefs in this city. it is always a pleasure to dine there with reasonable prices and good service with very good entrees . the menu items should be more varied.
Et Voila delivered again. Great meal, great atmosphere.
Consistency and attention to details is our main objective ! Thank you for your comment
Food is always good. Best mussels and frites outside of Bruges.Benjanin was a great waiter, offering great wine recommendation
Thank you for your comment ! I am pleased to hear your good experience on Saturday night !
As always, the service was attentive. The mussels were very good, but extremely small...not what we ate used to. The burger was great...as good as any I’ve had.
Have dined there many times, but had a craving for the best burger in DC and Et Voila is the place! Started with goat cheese salad and my partner foie gras. Two Grey Goose martinis to start. Her burger rare, mine medium. Cooked to perfection, caramelized onions, cheese, beef from Lancaster County, PA. Burgers come with salad and fries! Two Grey Goose martinis to complete. Excellent service and price.
Thank you for your comment ! We are glad to read that the quality of the meal exceed your expectations !
Always consistent excellence
Food was just so so.
It is very good as always, the fries used to be more fresh
Especially good on Monday. No charge for BYO
Great food. Great value. Noise level is low. Highly recommend it
Et Voila is our favorite Belgian bistro. The food is usually delicious, well-prepared and presented. Service is very quick. The restaurant is squeezed into a narrow row house -- actually two houses next to one another -- so there isn't a lot of space. Tables are small and conversations are easily overheard. But for us, the proximity and promptness more than outweigh the ambiance.
Thank you very much for your comment ! We look forward to welcome you back
It's an amazing place. Food is great and the mood is friendly.
Excellent little bistro with a great and authentic atmosphere. Food was first rate - moules with pommes fritos, Flemish beef stew, and a floating island dessert which was just spectacular. Staff was also outstanding- our server was French which just enhanced the setting. Highly recommended.
Thank you very much on your comment ! We really appreciate your feedback and glad to read your wonderful experience at Et Voila DC !
We were four, all loved their meals—trout(2), lamb, and duck confit. I had the duck confit, and it might well be my best one ever. Great place.
Always a good experience at Et Voila.
I have been to Et Voila a number of times for lunch and dinner, there have been 2 of us, 4 of us and 6 of us and various combinations thereof. Each time we were pleased. The onion soup is to die for.
Wonderful dinner. The restaurant honored my request for a quiet table, service was very good, and food excellent. I enjoyed my trout, my friend's beef tartare was excellent. Definitely a restaurant to enjoy again.
Thank you for your feedback, We are looking forward to welcome you back.
While the food is great (Salmon for my wife and Branzino for me), it is the superb, pleasant and efficient service that makes this restaurant stand out. Once again, we were well looked after by Aleks (who also makes great cocktails) and Sylvain (who is the GM). We were the first ones there but by the time we left, the restaurant was full and it was a Tuesday night. But not surprised. If you have not been to this amazing place, please go.
A wonderful restaurant with gracious attentive staff and delicious food
Too noisy. Otherwise, wonderful in every respect. One of the best restaurants in Dcl
Went to Et Voila for our anniversary. Food was outstanding as the grilled mussels as an appetizer was great. Fish selection made it hard to decide, but settled on a piece of branzino which was superb along with the pasta and broccoli that accompanied it. Other selection was a grass-fed hamburger, also expertly prepared with delicious frites. Next, another difficult decision on a shared dessert. Selected a waffle with delicious chocolate sauce, scoop of whipped cream and a scoop of ice cream. Service was great as was the delicious bread. One facet of the evening I must cite is the noise level. It used to be quite noisy, but it seems they have managed to lessen the sound to where you can now have a pleasant conversation with your dinner companion. Highly recommend Et Voila.
This was our first visit to Et Voila, we were celebrating a birthday. The food and service were exceptional - there was six of us and we had beef tartare, hanger steak, a duck special, and three branzinos. It was definitely worth the trip from Capital Hill.
Our Saturday dinner was early as we were coming from the theatre, but food and service were outstanding as usual. The eggplant soup was superb, as was the foie gras; entrees were fine and dessert was an Ice Cream Sandwich; vanilla cream cheese filling with an unexpected mulberry center, Speculoos cookie cover; all in all, quite a lovely experience. Have a Hugo Spritz cocktail to start you off... mmmm
I need to remember to sit in a chair. The banquette is very uncomfortable. We didn't realize that, on Saturday, the lunch menu is only the brunch menu, so be sure to check what menu is available if you want an expanded selection. It's pricey, but the food is worth it.
We had a great time with wonderful friends. The food was, as always, fantastic. The service was attentive.
Wonderful dinner as always. The restaurant was understaffed that night and if it hadn’t been for our bus boy, it would have taken another 1/2 hour to order. Every restaurant has an off night. The food was as delicious as always.
Excellent in every way
We were early on a Sunday evening and seated at our choice quickly. The pace of getting water and wine to our table permitted us a leisurely review of the menu. The choices were in keeping with a Belgian restaurant with great mussel choices excellently prepared hangar steak frites and wonderful vegetables apps salads and foie gras
Topped off the meal with a dark chocolate creme brûlée paired with a enticing Sauterne.
Service was quick and not intrusive and coordinated for both diners
Food is consistantly excellent here. Service was also excellent. All in all a great evening for us and our guests.
A very nice comfortable experience
Outstanding as always. Even though it was pretty crowded for a Tuesday evening in July, the staff did not miss a beat. It is also very customer focused that they work seamlessly as a team and so if your original server is busy with other customers, a colleague steps in. My wife had the sole, which she enjoyed very much and I had an excellent burger. Here’s why this is such a great place - the side salad that came with my burger was delicious. Any kitchen that is so careful with all elements of a dish is worthy of continued patronage.
I really like this place but had not been there in awhile. I did not think the food was as good as it used to be. I got steak frites and the steak was tough and the fries seemed like they were the scraps that had been sitting around. I am sure they would have given me new ones if I had asked. The server was great. Even though it was disappointing I would go back again.
The Dover Dole was terrific. Deboned in front of me at the bar. The wines are tops.
The Branzini was delicious as well. The bartenders were a good team making the evening enjoyable.
Thank you Roger for your comment ! Our priority is your satisfaction and the entire Et Voila Team is happy to read your feedback. We look forward to welcoming you back.
Everything is always perfect at Et Voila!
The service staff is helpful and knowledgeable. The food is always excellent. Love this place!
Et Voila never disappoints. The cuisine is always absolutely superb and the service is friendly and efficient. Highly recommended.
Just moved from NY. First time eating here and can honestly say it was excellent and better than most restaurants in NY. We had the beet salad, onion soup and trout and enjoyed it all. Also very attentive service. Will definitely return!
