Estragon Tapas Bar: your slice of Spain in the South End. Estragon is owned and operated by Julio de Haro and Lara Egger. Voted Best of Boston 2023 by Boston Magazine! Chef Julio was born and raised in Madrid and his cuisine reflects the fresh simplicity of traditional Spanish fare. Many of the dishes are family recipes, served straight from Abu Luisa's kitchen to your table. To complement Estragon's extensive tapas menu, you'll find a unique cocktail list, a selection of local and craft beers, and an all-Spanish wine list with references spanning both the country's established and emerging wine regions.                                                                                         We had a good dinner at Estragon! The artichoke hearts & the lamb chops were the highlight of our dinner… absolutely delicious. The cauliflower mash we had with the lamb chops were out of this world. Drinks were worth the money — they were strong and the flavors were on point. The hibiscus margarita was great! My dad has a shellfish allergy so we were a little limited because they cook shellfish in the same fryer as everything else but that’s more of a heads up to those with allergies! We still had a good time :)

Owners Julio and Lara are warm and welcoming, and the service (special shoutout to Sahil Mehta) is excellent. Wide variety of delicious menu options and cocktails, including gluten-free dishes.Highly recommended.

                                                                                        Excellent tapas in a very friendly and down to earth setting. Small but solid selection of wine by the glass. Prices are very reasonable. Feels like a neighborhood hangout. We really enjoyed it.
