The ramp down to the fresh fish counter had grease on it so although holding the handrail I slipped and wrenched my knee. Where I was seated (near the kitchen) the waiters banged into my chair on several occasions. They always apologised but it made for an uncomfortable evening. The food was good but nothing special. Anyone could have cooked it.
It’s been one of my favorites from beginning... never disappointed.
Excellent as always!
Forced to wait an extended length of time for table even though we were on time for reservation.
Matre di sat another couple who arrived after us, ahead of us. I informed them that was inappropriate. They apologized and gave us a table right away.
There should not have been a delay.
I should not have had to remind them that we were waiting to be seated after they asked where we wanted to sit.
There should not have been a need for an apology to me.
Milos is one of our favorite NYC restaurants. It has excellent food, professional service & a very fun atmosphere!
We have been coming to Milos for many years. Always have had a wonderful
experience during the week, but twice we have been on a Saturday evening
and the over all experience is quite different! Not saying we will never come again,
but it will not be on weekends.
Lovely wine room/loft where the 6 of us could hear each other. Delicious prix fix menu. Fresh, fresher, freshest seafood.
Delicioso y ambiente muy bueno.
Toda la comida tiene un sabor espectacular y el servicio es de primera. El pulpo y el cordero son increibles
Love this place, they never disappoint! Great food, the freshest fish.
The appetizers and side dishes are the best. Beautiful atmosphere, recently renovated.
Service is outstanding!
As always the food is excellent and keeping the high level on all locations which is outstanding !!!
Food is excellent.
Service can be spotty depending on how busy the restaurant is. Sometimes service can feel rushed.
Other than that, a great dinner experience. Try the Milos special and the octopus, won't regret it.
Excellent experience. You can connect to the Divine
I had lunch here last week. Everything about this place is five star. Top of the line service, the food was incredible and delicious, the ambience is clean, bright and modern. They have a three course lunch for $32 and you can choose from several items.
We started with the octopus appetizer. Slices of octopus on a creamy pureed hummus. Excellent. The Horiatiki salad was also delightful and done correctly. Main courses were the arctic Char --a salmon like fish-- on a bed of white beans and the lamb chops. The BEST lamb chops I have ever tasted. Dessert course was a walnut cake with lavender ice cream and Yogurt with bakalava crumbles.
Estiatorio Milos is in the elite category with my favorite restaurants in the country--Kokarri (SF), Commanders Place (NOLA), and The Water Grill (San Diego). The $32 lunch is a good price for what you get. The food and service could not be any better. And as a special bonus on this day, Hillary, the designer from 'Love It or List It' was at the next table. Five Stars plus.
Very good, expensive if you go a la carte and when you pick the market seafood. Will still go back!
Milos never disappoints. It has the freshest, most perfectly prepared fish that is
served by friendly, warm, caring waiters who go out of their way for you.
Especially recommended is its three course prix fixe lunch which is reasonably
priced for a high-end restaurant.
Food took too long. Waited 35 mins for main course.
PHENOMENAL ! freshest fish, great starters, excellent service and a nice guests.
We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner before the theater. The service was prompt but not hurried, the fish was fresh and cooked to perfection. The lavender ice cream was light and heavenly. We are definitely going back!
Everything was fabulous! The food was amazing! We’ll be back next time we’re in NY!
Went to Milos for a late lunch with family on Columbus Day. Milos is definitely one of the best Greek restaurants in the city. Delicious lobster pasta and royal Dorade. The hospitality and service offeresd by our Greek-Cypriot waiter Yiannis was impeccable. We will return.
Best meal by far while we were in NY. We even had a meal at Marea which it's a two star michellin star restaurant but Milos was so much better.
Great atmosphere great food and great service. A bit noisy so hard to converse but apart from that first class
Consistently, delicious food, energetic vibe, and good service.
Food outstanding, that’s the reason I come offend to Milos, however yesterday don’t know if because we were a party of 9 but the service was very poor and it was very noisy. Maybe because we where seated next to the bathroom entrance.
We arrived on time, out table was not ready or even remotely available. They finally seated us outside on the sidewalk. Service was fair at best
Overall enjoyable experience because of the people I was with, the ambiance and the service as well as the pre theatre location.
- BUT over priced!
The restaurant's specialty is fish - yet the Shrimp were just over cooked as was the Dorade which they served filet and yet its still had several bones.
Great for pre theatre dinner. Quality of ingredients is always top notch.
The food and service were excellent. I’d asked specifically not to be seated as a two top with the same on either side of me, as being noisy, generally, when trying to play catch-up with my lunch mate who I rarely see. No attention was paid to my request. Luckily the tables were well spaced in exactly the configuration I’d asked NOT to have. I ate the $32 Prix Fixe lunch menu but, despite that, lunch was $170.00. My friend ordered two dishes a la carte, no cocktails, no wine. I thought that was pretty pricey and it would make me think hard before going there again!
Always delicious. Atmosphere very energetic and fun.
What a wonderful dining experience!! Three lovely ladies met for dinner last evening. Split the Greek salad and all agreed we never had such tasty tomato’s. Two of us split the tuna and crab cake and the third one had lamb chops. All of our entrees were perfectly prepared. Although it was pricey, I would definitely recommend and we will be back.
Went for Brunch. Very nice, quiet (compare to week lunch time!) . Constantly good quality. Chef knows how to prepare fish.
Only negative will be the high price for bottles of wine.
Exccellent food! Delicious fish and wine! It’s one of my favorites restaurant in NY!
Maite d surly behavior.
Waitress had no idea
Best seafood in NYC? Feels like dining on the Mediterranean Sea, other than the price you pay for it.
Excelentes productos, frescos y deliciosos. Muy buena atención.
As always I was not disappointed. Still the noise level is high and is difficult to have a conversation.
Not the first time we dine at Milos. Seafood is always good.
We took friends from out of town and unfortunately could not converse during our meal due to the extremely high volume in the room.
Muy entretenido, gran comida de mar( pescados y mariscos). Muy bien atendido. Gente muy elegante. Beautiful People
