Estancia Churrascaria Brazilian Steakhouse - Arboretum Ratings and Reviews
Great steak house. I liked the many steak options and the service was very friendly. We had a vegetarian at our table and she found plenty to eat off the salad bar. The only suggestion I would make is maybe look at some barbeque offerings as well, such as brisket. Just a suggestion however.
Went here for Thanksgiving and it was very crowded. Too crowded. I could not walk between the tables to get around. It was clear that extra tables were brought in to accommodate the large crowd. We were jammed into a half circle table with our party facing the wall in that half circle. Awkward.
Service was attentive and the staff did a nice job keeping the buffet stocked and clean (an amazing feat with the quantity of people that were churning through there).
This place usually has a business crowd and looks/feels like many of the other steakhouses in town. Unfortunately, on this day, there were lots of folks in t-shirts and baseball caps which really killed what is usually a nice ambiance. I get that Austin is more laid back than most places, but the restaurant might consider a dress code. If I wanted Shoney's for Thanksgiving, I could have saved a few bucks and gone there instead. Definitely won't be back for a future holiday meal. $400 for 3 people gets you a reasonable meal at many other places in town.
Made reservation for 3 and was seated at a table half moon shaped and appeared to be put in to service the amount of people We could not talk to each other and it was so cramped the waiters hit the chairs each time they passed by
Food was good but the Thanksgiving was spoiled by the seating
The table was so unstable that the water glass spilled over my husband
The waiter was nice but overall not what we had hoped for
Had 11am reservations on Thanksgiving. It was super crowded. They had all the tables set super close together to so it was hard to get in and out. There was no Brazilian stuffing or pumpkin pie like the website stated. We asked our server about it and he was confused. Turkey had a weird taste. Everything else was great. Even though it was packed, the service was still excellent.
We joined another couple for a pre-Thanksgiving feast among friends before going home for Thanksgiving with the family. The manager heard my request for a quiet spot and moved us right in front of a window and away from the large groups. It was wonderful. Great salad bar and meat and the waiters were very attentive. Really nice experience.
Great food - fun place to dine. Pricy, but one is paying for the experience and variety. A special treat. Four stars for service because it took them forever to get us out of there (got there at 5:00, had to request check to get out by 7:10). Fantastic salad bar and the meats are delicious. Noisy and packed, but part of experience. A special treat place. I'll be back.
Easy parking, handicapped accessible.
Once your seated ( quickly ), your given a card with a red and green side and instructions on how they work. Green- bring food, red- stop bringing food. Then you are sent to a beautiful salad bar.
Once you are done with that, you flip your card to green and they bring a clean plate and then the meat comes. They carry it around on these rotisserie type skewers and cut off slices, from beef ribs, lamb chops, leg of lamb, a lot of different types of pork to a perfectly seared rib eye.
Everything was fantastic.
Save room for desert and have the mango cream with the currant liqueur. It is to die for.
An excellent evening and a great anniversary dinner.
We have been here on multiple occasions and every time the employees are incredibly friendly and helpful. The manager stops by to see if there's a cut of meat that we would like and make sure it's delivered. We have had large graduation parties there with 30 people and the service doesn't lag.
Very mediocre food for the price. If you go when they are not busy it seems like they just reheat the meat that is circling around. I would recommend going during a busy time. The alcohol seemed to be cheap, and for $12 it shouldn't be the cheap stuff. I would recommend going to a steak place and ordering a steak, you will be much happier.
We came here for my younger brother birthday. It wasn’t as great as the first time we came for my husband birthday. A little disappointing for the price that you pay. We had made reservations and put a note that it was his birthday and I don’t think they even acknowledge my note, when I went up to the host stand to check if they seen it , she said she would let our server know. He ended up coming but instead gave his dessert in a to go box and just said “here you go.”
Service was great, food outstanding but the mariachi band was extremely loud and went on and on and on and on. One or two songs would have been acceptable but they continued to play for 30 minutes or so and we ended up leaving because we couldn’t listen to each other talk...the reason we went in the first place.
I would suggest putting a group with loud entertainment in a private room if said entertainment is going to last a while. Very disappointing...we look forward to going to your restaurant and left with a bad taste in our mouth. Sorry
