Chigwell Restaurants

One of the better fine dine places I have been to in terms of overall experience. The decor is amazing and for a restaurant that's been open for many years, it has been kept very well. The food was excellent and I had no complaints. The atmosphere was exactly how you'd want a fine dine place with it being dimmed, low music and amazing staff. The only problem I had was parking and though there was dedicated parking, the road to enter is marked as no motor vehicles allowed except for access. This made it very confusing and had to end up calling the restaurant to be sure if I'm allowed to enter or not and I was informed that the road is accessible and no one is given a ticket. This ended up making me drive around for 20 mintues as it's very difficult to make U turns, etc, but this isn't a problem of the restaurant, but a good thing to note if you plan to go. Overall, 10/10 experience minus that issue.

Great Sunday roast, would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. Such a shame it’s last day was Sunday 30th July.

Recommend the mocktails which were super refreshing. And it is good value for money especially for group outings. Popular with the entire group.

Good freshly cooked food and a menu with sufficient choices to satisfy the varied tastes of all the family. Our very friendly waitress gave us excellent service even though obviously very busy. The restaurant was a little lacking in ambience and one of the nearby tables was very noisy but still generally a good experience and we will definitely return.
