This was our second visit for afternoon tea and it was just as lovely as the first. Barbara was our server and her 27 years with the restaurant really shows with her friendly nature and love for the job. She was very helpful and knowledgeable. Carlo assisted with hot water and making sure everything was perfect. Nikhil surprised us with some cucumber sandwiches which were excellent. As before the scones were amazing! They heat up really well if you take any home too! Overall this is an amazing tea full at an excellent price.

We had afternoon tea here late on a Sunday afternoon. It was a lovely experience with excellent service, tasty sandwiches and the best scones with homemade jam that we have ever had. Carlo, one of the managers was very friendly and helpful. Barbara was our server and we enjoyed our conversation with her and her prompt, attentive service. The menu includes 6 sandwiches which you can choose 4 from. They are substantial on different types of breads. We tried all but the egg and each one surpassed the next. They were full of unique flavours and fresh ingredients. The coronation chicken was especially good. The bone china was a delightful flower Rosenthal set. Teas were Sloane which were nice loose leaf tea bags. The scones and dessert were on the traditional tiered plates. The scones were light and flaky with homemade jam and cream. They were the best we have ever had worldwide! Kudos to Nikhil - chef for today and Jitin the head chef for putting on a first class tea at $48 per person. We had lots of leftovers because the desserts were also plentiful. Carlo and Barbara made sure our hot water was replenished and tended to our requests for lemon and lime. A very cool robot brought out the sandwiches which is definitely a fun novelty. We will definitely return for this tea. It’s better than almost all of the downtown Toronto teas at less than half the price. Parking is right there and free and the entire venue is wheelchair accessible. This is a wonderful way to spend an afternoon in Markham. .

Honestly, we were there for my Mom's 90th bday and just being together was good enough for us. However neither me or my siblings said we would return again and that is because for the amount they are charging for the buffet $65 per person, it's simply not worth it. There was so little selection and what was there was mediocre at best on a taste and quality level. The Old Mill is less expensive and a legendary buffet offering!

Had a great time on Valentines day. Each table was prepared beautifully, we both really enjoyed the food, music and atmosphere. Great dessert buffet in the end! Overall very pleased with the experience and will be coming back

Valentine’s Day with my girl. Didn’t want the fixed price meal. Ordered off the menu. Sat at 7:30. Food came after 8:40. Server did not even ask if we wanted appetizers, just took entree order. Way too much stuff on the table. Could not even see my gf until I moved stuff onto floor.

Wine pairing come after each course is done. Can’t enjoy wine with food. Last wine pairing is icewine but server give us write wine which is wrong, we need to remind him should come with icewine. Also, the portion is wrong. I have I have one glass of ice, but my wife only got half of it. Overall the food is great.
