Espetus has an extremely large and varied menu for guests to enjoy. Guests can enjoy items like sirloin steak, top sirloin, filet mignon, flap steak, grilled chicken, marinated shrimp, rum-soaked pineapple, pork belly, flame-grilled bison and many more. Espetus also has a cold bar with items like rolls and pasta.
Wonderful menu and adorable employees! They made sure that we got what we wanted and needed. Perfect place to celebrate special occassions, of course because of the yummy meat and sides! Tres leches ice cream was bomb, too! Make sure to save room for dessert.. and coffee :)
Good food and unlike any other experience I have ever had. Take your time eating to enjoy the variety.
Birthday for myself and mother-in-law we all had a great time!!
The waistband was extremely polite and hospitable
It was great. Food was very tasty, signature steak was absolutely amazing, and our service was fantastic!!!!! Will be there again!!
Not a good dining experience. Have been to several Brazilian Steak houses and Espetus San Francisco over time has lost its value. Quality of meat and choice of cuts of meat for the price one pays approx $100.00 per person, compared to other Brazilian Steakhouses is not what I would recommend friends or business colleagues.
The meat was delicious, the sides were the real, authentic foods I would get at my hometown in Brazil. Waiters are very respectful and treat us really well.
It was my birthday, so my wife and I wanted to have a real Southern Brazilian (Gaucho) barbecue and espetu's was top of mind for us. I just didn't tell them that it was my birthday because that whole think of singing happy birthday drives me nuts.
The food and service were great. They definitely gave you enough to eat, as much as we wanted!
From the East Coast and have been to quite a few rodizio-style restaurants that are not as pricey as this particular one (usually pay around $35 to $50 max around NJ/NYC area) but nonetheless everything was in good taste. Probably the fact that it's in San Francisco that $60 per person is considered reasonable. Food was delicious , still craving that top sirloin, yummm!
They forgot to celebrate my friend's Birthday with cake.I made an appointment for that and She said ok when I called them. But they didn't.
Also, our table was front of reception which was too noisy.
This was our first time at this restaurant. Although I found it to be expensive, the food was outstanding and the service and friendliness of the staff was exceptional. It made paying the bill a little less painful. If it were not quite so expensive, we would be able to go more often. But for now, we will reserve it for special occasions. I would highly recommend this to everyone. But, I will warn them it is pricey but very very good. We will be back.
EVERYTHING WAS GREAT-- FROM THE SERVICE TO THE FOOD AND DRINKS-- WILL COME BACK AGIAN
It's always a treat to come here. No, it's not one of the many great Michelin restaurants in the Bay Area, but, for meat, this is paradise. Every once in awhile we get a craving for a Brasilian steak house, and we think Espetus is by far the best the Bay Area offers. The ambiance, service, drinks, salad bar and meats are great!
Second time back here and didn't disappoint. Filet wrapped in bacon was a favourite.
Great service and amazing food. The presentation of the food and the overall experience was terrific.
(Positives)Food was outstanding, service was impeccable. (Negatives)Some of my favorite sides weren't offered this time. Brought a nice bottle of champagne for the special occasion and it was $60 to cork it. I thought that was a bit much - left a bitter taste in my mouth.
Good service, and the salad bar was excellent. Internal cuts of meats were delicious. Hint-when offered the outside/first cuts, take a pass on them because they tend to be salty & accept the rare, tender cuts.
Delicious! I've never been to a Brazilian steakhouse before, but this was everything I had hoped it would be. I'm pretty sure we tried everything, and it was all fantastic.
Great food, lovely place but quite overpriced especially if you have diners in your group that are light eaters.
GOOD FOOD, GOOD FOOD, GOOD FOOD!!!!!
GOOD SERVICE, GOOD SERVICE, GOOD SERVICE!!!!!
Amazing. Discovered it 12 years ago when visiting San Francisco for my 5th year wedding anniversary. It was small at the time but the food left an everlasting impression. 12 year later I googled it to find out if it was still there since my hubby and I were returning to San Francisco. To my surprise, not only was it still there, but it had grown to 3 times its original size and a new one was opened at a different location. The only thing that disappointed us was the fact that we got so full that we couldn't get dessert. Best brazilian steak house EVER. I will not be waiting another 12 years to visit again. That's for sure. I am already looking forward to my return to San Francisco just to have another excuse to dine at Espetus.
The meat, especially the beef and chicken was excellent.
I've been here once before about 7 or 8 years ago and it was amazing. I went again for my birthday and it was even better. They expanded there restaurant which made the atmosphere better and they were so accommodating. I love this place and I will be returning in the future.
We were so excited to get served with the meat but it took about 20-25 till we had anyone come to our table. By the time they came to our table we were done with our sides. The whole purpose was to get service right away. The waiter was very friendly but took forever to attend us. We did that appreciate that at all, especially paying $75 per person and not getting the service we expected. The food was delicious, we might give it another try just because of the food, if not we would never visit again. It would be nice to get some reimbursement or and coupon discount for the inconvenience of the poof customer service and having to wait 20-25 to get served some meat.
Very expensive. $153 + tip for two with only 1 drink each. Would not go back
This was only our second or third time here. We had our 18-year-old nephew with us, and the instructions he came with said, "Feed every two hours." We also learned that he eats, meat, and not salad, so we took him here. BIG HIT! We all loved the experience, and had some great, tasty, juicy food!
They were extremely accommodating, they made my GFs birthday extra special and the whole experience was excellent. I was very happy!
Excellent salad bar with SOOOO much more than just salad. Nice rotating selection of meats... thank you for making our evening speciak!!
The service was great and the waitress is super nice and helpful
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant due to its exorbitant pricing. $50, maybe. $80, No!
I wanted to love this restaurant. BUT, the service was lousy, and the food all tasted the same. I am also not a fan of the salad bar. Very disappointed for a $300 unenjoyable meal.
My go to spot for brazilian churrascaria! Always a enjoy the great food, accompaniments, setting and service. If you drink, try the Sangria. Great for lunch or dinner but I prefer the dinner. Reservation helps avoid the waiting.
Perfect date night! The whole experience was amazing. The food was tasty the service was great and the atmosphere was alive. Will return soon.
My a husband and I came for the 1st time and had a wonderful time. We made new friends with the people next to us . Food was great as well as the service . Will definitely recommend to friends and family. Definitely worth the hour and half drive for our date night .
Great atmosphere the day I went with the hubby (date night without kids!). If you're a meat lover, one of the best places to go! Staff super friendly, they asked us was there specific meats we wanted on certain occasions. Love it!
Great drinks....Brazilian rum and juices. Meat, meat and more meat. Salads, beans and rice were excellent. We were too full to try dessert....
I brought my friend's family here last year and they (especially the son) love the food so much, so much so they tried to find a branch or similar place in their hometown, but unfortunately there's none. So when the son passed by San Francisco , I invite him to have dinner at Espetus and oh! boy he had a good time and he said that he really miss the place.
The place is a little bit pricy but worth it. For meat lovers, this is for you.
It was an awesome experience. I’m definitely going back.
Just okay. Very expensive for the quality of food. Good for special occasion like a birthday or Father's Day but I wouldn't go out of my way to return.
