Really interesting menu. Salmon with carrot pesto was very unique. Scallop risotto was lovely
Very accommodating staff and the food was very good.
The menu is confusing and does not accurately reflect allergies. The staff had no idea what was in the food and could not help with vegan options for my friend.
The food was good, but the rest was not. They were setting up for breakfast when we were still eating at 9pm. There is no music playing, no ambiance at all.
AJ and Deven made my son's 20th birthday dinner a night to remember. Both are true professionals!
Yummy! My girlfriend had scallops with rissoto. I wanted to eat all of hers! Fennel infused scallops with cilantro! What a combo! They really know what they're doing up there! I had pheasant. It's a hard bird to cook right, but they nailed it! We will go again. Try it for yourself!
The trout was amazing! Our server was amazing and provided the best service we have had in a while. We will definitely return!
The food was very good. The ambiance was severely lacking. I think for $42 an entree, table linens should be included and perhaps candlelight? I felt like I was eating in a cafeteria.
Good that we could find a table during Sundance. Food was OK+. Drinks very small.
We were a party of 6 and no one had a good meal the food was horrible. The staff very confused also.
The Tomahawk Elk chop is amazing! Would have liked to have some chef specials available on a Saturday night.
I am incredibly disappointed in the $125 per head dinner we had on New Years Eve here. Granted expectations were high at this price point. But Escala didn’t even make an effort to produce a nice, special Occasion meal. The “lavish” salad bar included 4 types of salad including fingerling potato and sweet potato and Brussels sprouts. Not sure what’s lavish about that. The “multiple carving stations” including wild game and local offerings had exactly ONE carving station with an option of prime rib or lamb. We did have pheasant but the other 4 wild game dishes offered were completely gone by the time we ate at 9:00. Dessert was cupcakes on a plate you picked up yourself and carried to your table with no hint of a dessert plate. Just set it on the table in front of you and try to be careful with your crumbs, I guess. Despite the lack of crowds, I had to BEG for a 2nd drink after the first one took a full 15 minutes to arrive. Really? The “live music” promised was a guy (one) with a guitar. No champagne toast. Not a single party favor and a complete lack of festivity on the biggest dining our night of the year. $125??? I won’t be back and will
Make sure none of my friend are. You should be embarrassed.
We went for the New Years Eve buffet which was extremely overpriced for the quality of the food. It took forever just to get our drinks and it was not very crowded.
Too pricey for the food buffet selection.
The quality of the food was good, but it was served cold. Lighting: terrible.
Food was very peppery
In the Hyatt hotel
Misrepresentation of dining locale and food quality. Food generally overpriced
Had delicious meals here, very prompt service in a lovely restaurant. Recommend!
great spot, great food, great service... will go again
One star for food and one for being seated right away. It was quite empty on Christmas Day which we found surprising as we had booked specifically for their Christmas lunch. However, we were given just their regular (very basic) lunch menu and told they were not serving Christmas dinner. So no pheasant or elk as mentioned in their Open Table note for December 25th. We ordered a couple of drinks, flatbread and steak sandwich. Portions were large and prices appealing. The food even tasted good. Unfortunately there was a large family with a high number of screaming children in tow that made our experience fairly miserable. The service also slowed down considerably after we got our food. In the end I asked for the check which they brought with a free dessert to make up for the wait. It was a nice gesture but I would not return here simply because we felt deceived by the lack of Christmas menu.
The food and service were outstanding. Glasses were never empty, the food was not only delicious but very well presented on the plate. The only thing I could possibly complain about was the price, however given the quality of the food, the atmosphere and location it was not outlandish. Very good value given all factors. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone that isn't on a tight budget.
Extremely disappointed with the Escala Thanksgiving dinner this year. We had a superb meal there 2 years ago for Thanksgiving, so we were really surprised at how different this experience was. WHAT HAPPENED?! Our previous meal included courses of soup, salad, turkey, salmon, generous gourmet sides and an array of delicious desserts. The dinner we had this time was served in three courses and every one of them was weak. The salad to start was served with pomegranate seeds that had turned and were fermented. Also, the butternut squash it contained was unevenly cooked with some pieces that were hard and crunchy with some of the outer skin still left on. The turkey course was an unattractive mound of food that wasn't much better. The turkey itself was way over-salted and the accompanying vegetables and stuffing were just bad. Finally, the dessert course consisted of a little piece of pumpkin pie on a very small plate and looked just like something you'd pick up at a cafeteria. The commercial frozen crust they used made us wonder if it was picked up at the local grocery store. Needless to say, we are not coming back.
Although Park City has a multitude of restaurants, we were tired after a long day so decided to eat in at the Hyatt Centric. We never expect much from hotel restaurants, but this was a very nice dinner. My wife had a trout sandwich with sweet potato fries and I had the pasta dish. Both were excellent. The wait staff were very friendly and efficient; we quite enjoyed the meal and the ambience.
All the staff at the restaurant were very friendly and accommodating. The ambience is exceptional. The food was very delicious, thanks to the the chef/cook. My waitstaff Drazen was very attentive in servicing his guests and he apologize if there is any delays. Everything was excellent. I highly recommend EPC. Thank you very much.
The food was very average ( very nice presentation
And one of us felt bad after his fish
Celebrated a birthday dinner for my wife. Enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.
Great meal with lots of choice and fantastic personalised service
Terrible food and terrible service. Very overpriced.

Mixed review...service was friendly, but slightly slow, especially since the restaurant was fairly empty when we had a early reservation. Food was very tasty, especially the chicken dish (I think it was called Mary’s chicken..highly recommend). However, we did notice that the food that was served in the individual dishes (I.e. appetizer dip) , and I think a Mac and cheese entree side were lukewarm. Needed to send back!
The food was great as was the atmosphere and the service. We will be back.
Delicious scallops and great wine!
The service is very attentive. Food is good. Went for my birthday and not only did they give me a birthday card signed by all the staff, dessert was on the house and I received a thermal cup! I felt very special!

It is Jason the lobby. It is OK. Food is rice for a hotel and resort. The quality is not great. But there are not that many options around there.

The food was high quality and cocktails were good. It’s not a great place for kids and the prices are high relative to other restaurants. I appreciated their wine selection so maybe a nice spot for just adults seeking a quiet night out without a budget.
The place was essentially empty. The wait staff were attentive, but major hold up with pre-dinner drinks, and then they were not well made... maybe the bartender was having a bad day. The food came relatively quickly, but it was ok, nothing special, considering the price. Two days later no one could remember the meal or where we had dinner that night.. six other meals in town during the week that were better all around.
Waiter well intentioned but very disorganized. 1star
No vegan options until we asked the chef who prepared a very nice meal. 5 stars for his attitude
Manager jumped in to help 5 star attitude
Food average, but overpriced.
Tasty, excellent, precisely prepared food.
The Bison tenderloin was cooked correctly, the tartare was cut nicely, not randomly, and seasoned well. The trout was cooked well - including a crispy skin.
Anyway- The is a spot worth the walk. Sit back, enjoy the super tasty food.
Service is very good. Food is good but not wow. Overall good vibes, good food, good location.
Christmas Dinner was wonderful. Our server Eddie made the evening perfect. What a great experience...from the complimentary valet to the great meal.
We were more then pleased not just with our thanksgiving meal but also with the thoughtfulness of the head chef. One of my sons has severe treenut and peanut allergies. He is also autistic which makes him a very picky eater. You can imagine how this poses a problem when we eat out. Not only was the chef willing to accommodate the nut allergies but came out and specifically asked what my son would like to eat. He did not know my son was autistic but just that he didn’t want the set Thanksgiving menu. The chef made him his own Thanksgiving feast of Mac n cheese, French fries and pizza. These were all off menu items. He went above and beyond to give us all a wonderful, peaceful and delicious holiday meal. Our waitress even found some ice cream that was safe so my son could have dessert as well.
We’ve eaten at many restaurants and this was by far the most accommodating, kind and understanding dining experience we have had. Thank you so much! You have no idea how much we appreciate it.
