Very nice patio - food was delicious - service a bit slow. We would go back and also recommend to friends!
We sat outside because it was noisy and cold inside. Food was good but entree salad portions were smaller than they used to be.
Outstanding service and food!
Great lunch! Both of us ordered the 1/2 Cobb salad and was more than enough food for us. Two thumbs up!!
Went on Saturday night with my spouse. Margarita was just ok. Steak was fine(very pricey..but overall weel cooked and tender). Mashed potatoes..I swear came from a mix.. runny and not flavorful. Splurged and got salted carmel cheesecake for dessert.. it was 95% crust, had burnt marks on top..
I was very disappointed. The view is wonderful.
My hubby got the short ribs, he liked them.
The PGA West setting is very gracious and views of the Santa Rosa mountains are wonderful. Ernie’s was a great stop on my tour of the Desert and a fun place for an excellent meal in an historic golf setting.
The food was delicious, the service was great! Beautiful scenic view of the golf course. **Need to update the menu and location on Open Table because both have changed.
Terrible service, nasty cold food terrible experiance
Went during Restaurant Week
Food was awesome! Drinks were great! Atmosphere incredible!
Just wasn't very good food. Come to expect more at a location like PGA Wes t. Honestly, I've eaten better at a truck stop.
We love this place! Great food!
The restaurant is dirty , the chairs were filthy. The food is over valued, one dish had to be sent back because it was cold. Will never return .
Staff at Ernie’s is the best!
Great food! Great views. Service was awesome!
Took 40 minutes to get our first drink.
Outside seating is lovely.
Nice ambiance but overpriced
We sar outside on the patio, and it was perfect! The area is shaded after noon, and the view out over the golf courses is nice.
All 4 of us ordered salads, which are hard to screw up. Everyone liked their meal, and service was good.
Nice, relaxed venue for a relaxed lunch!
Very cold out door seats and were rudely castigated by the floor manager when we adjusted the heaters next to our tables to provide more heat although no one was at adjacent tables and never were during our meal. Rude and embarrassing , we just accepted it and did not respond. Service was slow slow.
Overall food mediocre at best Fish and chips greasy. Salads non discript Only went because out of town guests wanted to see PGA West PGA WEST can do better
We made reservations for four and when we got there, we asked for a table rather than a booth. There were two tables for four right next to the booth. She said they were reserved for a large party (although no reserved signs on either). She was very rude and said she would ask the manager. She never returned. We were there for over two hours and no one was seated at those two tables.
Our server was nice and very good though.
Food and drink are expensive for what it is. Menu not very imaginative. Bistro 60 much better food and value. It is worth the drive from PGA West out to Trilogy as it is outstanding there.
Please dial down the music!! People trying to talk over it, too much noise.....
Nice environment, FAST service. Our waitress was very professional. I really liked my Pastrami Sandwich, my wife thought her lettuce wraps were just OK, we shared a chicken quesadilla and it was excellent. I would go back next time I'm in town.
No surprises, as expected ... first class.
Very nice clubhouse bar and grill. Wait staff is fast, attentive and plenty to get the job done.
Celebrating a big milestone birthday. Our server was awesome. We’re visitors from Washington State and always end up at Ernies. Love it.
First of all we went to the wrong place because the confirmation said that the address was at the Waldorf Astoria La Quinta Resort--so we went to the hotel. It turns out the place is at PGA West. They said at both places that this happens all the time. It turns out that the La Quinta Resort manages the Restaurant, but it's in a different location--Can't they fix this, very confusing, a waste of our time, and gas running between 2 locations.
At the restaurant, it was very noisy and busy. It took a while to get service. We got our dinner and the portion was really small for $29.00. Two of us got Baramundi, which is a fish. It was fresh, but really small. The side dishes were rice and vegetables. A ball of steamed white rice--nothing exciting and one brussel sprout cut in half, and two small carrots. Hmm a bit expensive and uninspiring.
I did organize a surprise for our friend who was having a birthday and we got a really nice, made to order brownie cooked in a small iron skillet with ice cream and whip cream on top. This was comped, so, we did enjoy this treat.
I used the restroom on the way out and it smelled like sewage. Not a great experience.
Ernies is one of our favorite places to dine. They have expanded their menu and offer many new entrees.
Sorry, but we were very disappointed in the food.
The bar was loud at 7:00 untill 7:45 when some happy hour people left. My fish was good not great. My husdands fish and chips looked like a fast food order.
Room for improvment.
Waitress was outstanding! Sabrina, I think.
Typical golf club food, nothing special. The server was great 5 stars for Shana!
Service is always excellent and friendly, a very relaxing atmosphere, highly recommend.
Excellent dining experience
Ordered a burger and there was mold on the bun. Server was apologetic and gave us a credit but overall, that is just plain gross.
Good food, good service, nice view, easy parking and fair prices.
Lethargic service when the restaurant was not busy. Serving staff trying to be pleasant. Overall management here likes to find reasons to say no to customers
1st trip to Ernie’s
We are from Alberta, Canada
Food was excellent and patio seating provided us with a beautiful view of the PGA West.
Only “complaint” is we had asked for ice water after a long travel day and ended up having to find a different server to bring it as our server perhaps forgot? Not a big deal.
the view is great
the food is ok
i am not sure about the value- 3.50 for a coffee...
not that i can"t afford it, but...
