The entire staff was friendly and welcoming. The background live music was nice. The food flavors were ok but my fish and my vegetables were SWIMMING in butter. If I were to go back, I would ask them to cut way back on the butter.

Had a reservation for 7:30, arrived exactly at 7:30 and was told our table was not ready and we would have to wait a few minutes. Flash forward 45 minutes and still not seated. No communication from hostess, all while we were sitting right in front of her. I had to go ask about 30 minutes past our reservation and was told we were next on the list and a table had to-go bags and were about to leave. 20 minutes after that, still not seated and no communication from hostess. I understand being overbooked or making too many reservations, but to not communicate to me is what will definitely keep me from ever going here in the future. Multiple people were in the same boat as us, having made reservations and had not been seated well after their reservation times. Disappointed because I made the reservation for an anniversary, and we were both excited to try Ernest’s. We made the decision to leave at 8:30 having not been seated.

6:45 reservation, table not available for another hour. TOUR GUIDE BUS took priority, which was understandable if not aggravating. Great food and steller service.

The Senior menu on Thursday can't be beat. Glad you offer this. Would like to see a wine list and what is offered by the glass. This was a bit confusing.

Drove from Denton, Tx just to eat at Ernest’s. Great dinner as always. The crab claws are fabulous. The shrimp dishes and bread are the best. The smashed garlic potatoes were also delicious! Brandy was our server and did an excellent job. The bar entertainment was an acoustic guitar player. We will definitely be back to hear her play. Never disappoints!! Thank you, Ernest!

Ernest’s never disappoints. There is nothing on the menu that is not absolutely delicious, from the marinated crab claws to entree of filet mignon to bread pudding dessert. The service and ambience match the excellence of the food: everyone is courteous. You can tell everyone is well trained in customer service, your glass is never full and no request is outrageous. If you get a chance to go and think it is out of your price range, go on Speak Easy Wednesday - very affordable! And if you are in your golden years, go in Thursdays!

We went to Earnest to celebrate a birthday, from the moment we sit down to the surprise slice of cake was exceptional. Earnest’s has a one of a kind look inside. The food was OMG! Very Good! Our waiter was a sweetheart even the other staff were all wonderful. It was a 1st time visit for my fiancée and my second visit.

Amazing food! Had trout with mushrooms and lump crab. I’ve never seen so much crab served anywhere. Didn’t care for the remolaude. Should have asked for clarified butter. But crab was good by itself.

The food was disappointing and the waiter really didn’t know much as it was his 3rd day there. He was friendly, but uninformed. Mostly disappointed in the food. Their sauce had a grape jelly taste to it. I struggled to taste the tomatoes. All tastes are subjective, but this was a disappointing night considered we paid $300 for two adults (one drank) and a child, and didn’t eat more than 3 bites of any of our apps or meal.

Not fine dining! Sent both meals back and left. This place may have been nice in the 80s. Silverware and dishes appeared to have been purchased from a cafeteria. And plating was horrible, food had no flavor. Had 2 glasses of hot wine, payed for drinks and left. I will say that they had a couple of large parties in the restaurant and hopefully that affected the food.

Ive been coming to Ernests Orleans for At least a decade. Overall, I love the place. The Food and the Atmosphere is always on point. I have never had any issues with Service until this past Saturday August 12th. We had reservations for 4 at 8pm in the lounge. We arrived a little before 8 and got seated. Overall Our waitress was less than enthusiastic and our Food took a tremendously long time to arrive. Following appetizers Our main course took well over an hour. This while other tables who arrived much later were served. After patiently waiting All we received was a very belated “im sorry” its taking so long because we got slammed on the other side of the Restaurant. The Food was Exceptional aside from my Wifes potato being cold and her steak being delivered medium rare instead of Medium well. Ill be back but needless to say it was the worst experience Ive ever had at the establishment.

Food is good. Service is good. But Ernest's Orleans Restaurant still struggles to have a reliable reservation system. Big parties appear to bump single table reservations. Seems that an opportunity to serve a large group will effectively trump an existing reservation made well in advance.

This was my 2nd time to go here to eat on Senior Night (Thursday). The 1st time was fantastic. This time was OK. I ordered the Filet Minion (medium). They either brought me the wrong steak or the cook overcooked it big time. But I sent it back and they cooked me another one. I will try again though.

Ernest never disappoints. The food was outstanding and portion was way more than expected. The Bread Pudding was off the chart excellent. If you have never eaten here do yourself a favor and go. You won’t regret it.

Where to start? This was horrible! 2 filet Mignon with baked potato and spiced peach meals at 50.00 each! Filet mignon was under cooked like cold in the middle raw meat undercooked, served on wilted spinach with their "special sauce" served with a side of mushrooms (had I known this I would have asked them to not include them, not listed on menu at all), lemon and 3 onion rings. I skipped the potato in favor of broccoli. Was told that we would be charged for it which was fine until the broccoli came! The broccoli seemed to have been boiled for 15 minutes in fish water then lathered in butter? No spiced peaches at all! 30.00 for 5 butterflied fried shrimp, and 2 wedge salads. The salads and bread and steaks was the only thing I could eat. We had to wait about 30 mins from the time we got our salads and ordered our steaks for the steak to finally arrive. Once we got our main food no one came to check on how our food was. I had to call someone over to tell them that my food was inedible! No apologies, no cares, Over 190 later and lesson learned! Save yourself the Hassel and go eat somewhere else!

Delayed seating. Requested main dining room but there was a private party so had to sit in the bar area. It’s loud and crowded and the tables are tiny for 4 people. The service was just ok. The waiter was not attentive. We saw the water servers a lot though. And another waitress brought bread. My daughter ordered a side of fettuccini Alfredo. We had to ask for it and ended up boxing it for home. Just not the best night. I will add the filet is the best I’ve had!!

We had reservations and were seated in the lounge/bar area. Loud music was playing and it was overall noisy. I asked that we be moved to the other dining room, which they quickly accommodated. We were seated at a very nice table. The room was quiet and more pleasant for us. Jordan was our server, and he was awesome. The food was superb. I was a little concerned after reading some reviews about poor experiences, but our time at the restaurant was outstanding. Service and food were exceptional. Oh, and the valet attendant was also extremely polite and provided great service. My wife and I took out of town guests, and we all four had a great time. We will be back!
