Absolutely wonderful service by our server Brooke A. She was the best at attentiveness and knowledge of the drinks and food options. Her timing and availability was perfect. Can’t say enough good things about Brooke. Food was spectacular as usual. We’ll be back soon!

We chose the Erie Grill to celebrate our 37th anniversary and we were very happy we did. The decor is pleasing and the tables are just far enough apart. The food was excellent, especially the duck meatballs and the short ribs. Would highly recommend this very special restaurant!

We enjoyed our food. Service was nice but not especially attentive. All else was special.

My son and daughter-in-law were in town for business. They were staying at the hotel so it made sense to try the Erie Grill. Our original reservation was for 8:30, but when they arrived early we called the restaurant to see if we could come in earlier. They were able to get us in right away.
We enjoyed the salads and appetizers. The entree was okay, but didn't dazzle us. Service was good. I expect we will go back again and I have recommended it to others.

First time there. Food was excellent; service was good; wine list good (and it was 1/2 price wine night). I recommend this place. I’m glad I found it on OT.

The dinner was great. Our table was very close to another couple so I didn't enjoy hearing their conversation.

Very good food. Service is friendly but not as sophisticated as I would expect considering the price and quality of the food. Don't be in a hurry unless you order a salad or a soup.

We loved the food, but the noise level makes it impossible to carry on a conversation.
We were celebrating 2 birthdays, which they acknowledged when they called to confirm the reservation, but absolutely nothing was done when we dined.
It s a shame that they can’t do anything about the noise level. As much as we liked the food, I doubt if we would return.

Delmonite Inn is supposed to be one of the best hotels in Rochester area. I wish it had a restaurant commensurate of it. We’ve been there before, and now they have new
Chairs and New is not good. The chairs are low to the ground and not very wide.
We sit down and notice the coffee cups are permanently stained. The service was not personable at all, although they did split our beet salad for us. The food was fine but nothing really remarkable. Even if the food was good we won’t go back because of the furniture. The server seemed in a rush to get rid of us so we ordered dessert after she brought our check just because

The food, service, price point and view we're all top notch. I've had brunch at Erie Grill several times and this was my first time having lunch there (my bestie who accompanied me had never been and LOVED it!). I'd hands down recommend this is a lunch or brunch spot and plan to try out the dinner menu soon.

We were first seated next to the bar, which was very noisy. We requested to be moved and were seated away from the bar at a much quieter table. Unfortunately that meant we gave up our view of the Canal. The food and service were excellent. We will definitely be back, but will try to avoid weekends in hopes of a quieter experience.

Delicious dinner....my wife was talking about how good the lamb was the next day. Good value for price paid=bottle of wine, appetizer, salad, 2 entrees, cappacinos and dessert for $150. Service is spot on and the ambiance is perfect for a date night or those looking for an upscale feel!

We had an early weekday breakfast reservation. Upon our arrival we learned that there had been a power outage and power had just been restored. They would not be ready to serve for another 20-30 minutes. Despite this, we were cordially invited to enjoy coffee at our table with a lovely view of the canal. The experience could not have been more pleasant.

Warmly welcomed and seated quickly.
Brooke was wonderful, with the perfect balance of service and privacy. Pleasant, cheerful and professional. A+.
Food was exactly as requested and described, and my guests can be critical. Add the beautiful view of the Erie Canal and we had a perfect evening.

Our server was Brooke. She knew the specials off by heart. She could answer any question about wine. She was not afraid to give her opinion of what she liked due to the fact that we had not been there before. The seating was a little cramped. The table behind us was way too close. The food was great for all four of us. My husband got the duck breast. He is still talking about it.

I thought the food was just OK. I had the pork chop and it was a little dry and not as large of a portion that I expected for the price. Simply put, the meal was not worth the price. The drinks were expensive, albeit tasty, and the meals weren't worth $30+ per entree. Maybe if I had a corporate expense account and it was a business dinner, this would be a different review.

We've been going here several times after we moved back to the area. For some reason this trip was terrible. We waited so long for our food and my Martinis that I love so much weren't anywhere as good or as much quanity as in previous visits. Was really disappointed. Will go back but not rushing to.

The overall venue and ambiance is not conducive to an elegant dining experience. The bar area is quite close and combined with the dining experience and it's an average hotel restaurant but I would not go out of my way to dine there unless staying there. We were disappointed by the noise level but the food was good--not great.

We were looking forward to celebrating a special occasion and had remembered the Erie Grill for its location and the abundant natural light from the panoramic windows. Unfortunately we were met with a very lacklustre welcome by a hostess that seemed genuinely annoyed that we would present ourselves for the reservation we had booked. This only went downhill from there as the server apparently was unaware he had been assigned our table and was only too happy to share his annoyance with the management with us quite vocally. This person was clearly not enjoying his job and was making it very clear. When he finally found the time to take our order he began arguing with my wife about one of the courses and how this could not be modified - the tone was more than argumentative it was intimidating bordering on bullying. Bottom line this was one of the worst dining experiences I have ever had and we were disappointed in the extreme. This will be our last dinner at the Erie Grill and I strongly recommend to management that they find a way to improve their apparently quite toxic relationship with staff.
