Filet mignon was great! Perfectly cooked but arrived to the table cold. Service was slow but respectful.
The Erie grill is a little gem on the canal. We sat at the bar for a drink while they clear the table for us. I felt sorry for the bartender as she was the only one and was run off her feet trying to serve both the long bar and beverages for the diners. A few little pieces of French bread were served. We had chosen a bottle of wine and again because lack of staff we waited an unusually long time for our bottle to arrive. The chips and onion dip were an old traditional recipe that we enjoyed prior to having dock and crabcakes. The portions were large and the food was very good. Had there been more staff we would’ve had a more enjoyable time but I do recommend Erie grill
This was a wonderful breakfast get together with friends from out of town. Two of us had the all American breakfast, substituting pancakes for toast(with an up-charge, but totally worth it). The pancakes were fantastic! Another had the avocado toast. It was everything you want in this delicious and healthy meal. Our fourth party member has gluten issues, so she stayed with eggs over easy, cooked medium hard as requested, and gluten-free toast. Service was on point. The view of the canal adds tOverall, this was a great way to spend a Saturday morning.
Salmon dinner was fishy
We shared the charcuterie board. Probably the saddest one I’ve ever had. Don’t bother. The cocktails were good. The service was very good. My chicken pallaird was delicious. My son’s meatloaf was very salty and mushy. My husband’s salmon was ordinary. Nice place though.
Food was fair, I had the French toast and sausage. Service was good. The dining room is very pretty and the view is beautiful.
The food was delicious. Our server was phenomenal.
Absolutely delightful. Went for lunch with my buddy and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Had a great salad and the Rose was sublime
To be fair they just recently opened for dinner so the menu options were somewhat limited. Hopefully that will get better with time. Server (Kathy) was very nice, the food was good and the ambiance is always wonderful.
Small menu, but this is quality food over quantity. Sampled the dinner specials, table ordered the lobster risotto and duck pasta and an appetizer of the charcuterie board. Everything was amazing. Slight delay with bar drinks, but staff was apologetic. If in the area, this is an elegant meal/venue right on the Erie Canal.
Great in every respect except our group of 6 was seated in the bar area which was noisy.
We always try the house cocktails. Some unusual combinations, but quite interesting and delicious. Same with food. The standards are great, but the specials are always eye-catching and very tasty. Not usually a fan of a strip steak, but had it as a special last night and it was cooked to perfection, juicy and delish! A little noisy with a smallish crowd, but I think that was mainly due to the 2 intoxicated women next to our table. Service always spot on here. We will return again soon.
Yummy food. Good wine selection. It’s really fun to look out the window and watch the crew practice on the canal.
Once again, the Erie Grill did not disappoint. Even though the menu is slimmed down a bit these days, each dish we ordered was beautifully prepared and presented ... from the panko chicken to the steak special. Best of all, our server, Kathy, always makes us feel welcome and takes care of us with great warmth and professionalism.
We're glad to see that the Erie Grill is open again. Prior to Covid, it was a favorite dining destination for my wife and I. We were there this past Saturday evening for dinner, and were very satisfied. The food was tasty and the service top notch.
Our meal was excellent: served in a timely fashion & very tasty! The server we had was outstanding with her service & suggestions.
Kathy our waitress was excellent. Disappointing that there was no cheese available to add to my salad because of kitchen and purchasing limitations. But that’s the new Covid world!
We came for brunch on a Saturday morning with a reservation and were seated immediately. The service and food were both outstanding. The french toast was light and fluffy and had piles of delicious strawberries, raspberries and blackberries. My niece had the egg-white omelette and said it was also outstanding, with delicious home fries on the side. I would definitely recommend this to anyone looking for a nice spot for brunch.
The meal in itself wasn’t terrible.. The chicken was over cooked and the crust was hard, th hey were out of the special by 7:00… Delmonico steak.. not much variety . Server was excellent. The best part . Wine was too expensive.. cheapest red was 50.00.
We were so happy to see that The Erie Grill had reopened, disappointed at the paired back menu especially the loss of the chicken wings which we had ordered multiple times to go . Our waitress was very nice but when it came to ordering our food it went a bit strange . Two of us ordered the chicken which was so over cooked we could barely eat but we asked if we could get a side of fries or potato’s with it , we were told no by the waitress but she’d ask the manager , the manager came over and said no sides but we said the burger comes with fries so you are cooking them , she said yes but you can’t have them with the chicken only the burger 🤷♀️what !!so we said can just have two sides of fries and charge us the burger price again no , only if you have a burger so we ordered a burger and fries just to get the fries , seems ridiculous. I then asked for malt vinegar to be told they don’t have any ok I’ll take balsamic..So the next day our friend who ate with us there the night before goes for lunch and low and behold they have fries as a side and he got malt vinegar, we have been going to The Erie Grill for years and the whole no fries situation seems ludicrous especially as they are cooking them with the burger ……
The highlight of this meal was our server, Jacqueline. She provided excellent, attentive service in a friendly manner. The food was well-presented, was tasty, though not outstanding.
Ver nice restaurant. Food was good. Service was good. Tables are like a luncheonette. Very close together. Heard every loud word of a conversation next to us.
Has a wonderful view great food
Great as always! Terrific menu!
My favorite breakfast spot to celebrate my friends.
Everything was very good! Table was ready as soon as we arrived. Service was excellent - Irene was terrific! Good was delicious - we ordered the Mahi fish sandwich and chicken salad. We told her we were going to share and Irene served already plated for two! Thank you so much - we'll be back again!
We love eating at Erie Grill. I am sad that they aren't open for dinner due to all of the challenges with the current labor issues. We hope they will find all the folks they need to open fully as they are a great spot for the Pittsford community!!
Our lunch was very good. We are hoping you will open for dinner again.
The chicken salad was delicious. Grilled chicken on a bed of slaw with peanuts and a spicy dressing.
The Erie Grill is a lovely restaurant - good food, wonderful staff, and a great view of the Erie Canal.
Great place to lunch!
My party of four really enjoyed their lunch and experience at Erie Grill.
Erie Grill is a fantastic choice for lunch or dinner. It is beautiful inside with a water view. There is a wonderful bar area. Food choices were great and delicious! We also loved our server!
Erie Grill has become my go to for business lunch meetings. The service, food, and ambiance makes for a great setting. The lobster cakes are very good.
The menu is basically the same as it has been for ten years or more. The food is adequate--not outstanding, not terrible. It's very much like standard hotel fare. An omelet with toast and coffee runs about $20 without tip.
Excellent food. Nice view of the Erie Canal. Walked around outside afterwards.
Very little menu options, and some were no long available
It is our favorite place to eat and drink when in Pittsford. The food and service are outstanding. They treat us like family and that is why we always come back!
The Best all categories a solid 10!!
Nice bar. One bar observation, one patron WAY past drunk, cut them off before they get like that. Nice place, food was good server was fantastic, price is reasonable for an upscale place. Hostess seemed a bit disheveled but was very nice. I would most certainly eat there again.
