   We had expected it to be a little quiet on a Wednesday evening but there were enough in to give it a nice atmosphere. Staff were friendly and attentive and the food was top quality. A little pricey at £40 per head for a mid week meal without wine, but not so much that it would put us off going again, or recommending to friends.

   We went for a Saturday night out with friends. Everything was excellent. The menu choice was outstanding - it was so difficult to choose - we could have tried everything. The food was cooked to perfection - the vegetables wonderful! The staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly. It was so good we went back the next day for an equally excellent late Sunday Lunch. Will definitely be regular visitors.

   Dinner at Eric's could be summed up in 5 characters - Great. Nice layout, excellent service and menus (food and wine) offering a range of options with plenty of variety but, sensibly, not so many choices that quality suffers. We all found it hard to make the final decision and then had fun sharing and tasting the dishes we nearly picked. Our starters were superb, main courses delicious and the only problem was being able to fit in deserts. Wines were sensibly priced (with a couple of definitely pricy specials for special occasions). Service was efficient and friendly but not intrusive - we were happily left to top up our own glasses when ready, which is how we like it. If I try to find any fault (not easy) it would have to be that the lighting was fashionably low. A thoroughly pleasant evening.

   Went to Eric's for the first time on Saturday after hearing lots of good reports from friends. Enjoyed the evening - food was v nice & tasty. The one downside was that the restaurant was cold when we got there. Our reservation was for 6,15pm ( believe restaurant opens at 5pm). If the restaurant takes time to warm up, the heaters need to be put on earlier. My husband was particular annoyed about this and he never complains about anything.

   Sorry but we have been to far better restaurants. Really disappointed with the food, presentation, décor and the seating arrangements

   We were very pleased with our meal on a busy Saturday evening. The food was excellent, service friendly and efficient and the ambiance very pleasant. Music was a little loud as the speaker was above us but they happily turned it down for us. All food lovely but the most surprising dish was the liqourice ice cream which was amazing. We will certainly go back again.

   Eric's catered for our son's wedding and it was resounding success and the family loves going for meals regularly. Always consistently perfect. Well done the team at Eric's you are consummate professionals.

   We headed to Eric's for a special occasion based on glowing internet reviews. Sadly, the restaurant failed to live up to expectations - it was a busy Saturday night, but the service was unfortunately way below what I would expect from a 'fine dining' establishment. There was a long wait for anyone to acknowledge our arrival, we had to hang up our own coats, and our 'pre-dinner' cocktails arrived at the same time as our starters. The restaurant was packed, and the tables were extremely close together. The food itself was decent - the rabbit starter and stone bass main in particular were excellent, but with the final bill coming to £145 for two, the evening was let down by the admittedly pleasant, but seemingly inexperienced, team. A real shame.

    Very attentive staff, great food and good wine list. The main courses are on the expensive side but are generous and complete dishes, so no sides are really required. The restaurant is always full at the weekends and has a nice buzz. Reliably good food and service.
