From the moment we stepped into this quaint restaurant we were very pleased. The ambience was lovely-crisp white table linens with numerous candles throughout. Our hostess was the chefs wife and was very knowledgable about wines and the importance of welcoming service. We had a waiter who knew the ingredients in all menu items and times our service perfectly. The Italian food was truly delicious with local fresh ingredients. The items were not heavy but very flavourful!! We would highly recommend this gem 👍👍

We brought our foodie friends expecting a wonderful meal, as we had a few years ago, and instead had meals that were just good.

Never mind the North End. This is my favorite Italian restaurant in the Boston area. The food is always first rate, the wine selections excellent and fairly priced and the kitchen is very innovative. On this last visit, the agnolotti were dream like and the rabbit was terrific.

We chose Erbaluce for our fifth anniversary because we went there for our first Valentine's Day and we had a great experience. We made a note on Open Table that it was our anniversary and my boyfriend informed the host in person a week prior. And no one acknowledged that we were celebrating anything that night. The other issue was when the chef called our server away from our table in the middle of opening a bottle of wine for us to run food to a different table . Our server was very nice, attentive the rest of the night he was apologetic about leaving our bottle of wine unopened. The service was poor in the sense of what the management saw as priorities and that front of the house doesn't communicate with the wait staff .The front desk should have better communication with the wait staff.
