Arrived on-time and seated promptly by hostess. Had the smoked chili for lunch - out of this world! Service very attentive. I am a regular at Epic and have never been disappointed.

This was a return trip to Epic and again met our dinning expectations. Celebrating three birthdays at once can only be done at Epic. Great food, staff and atmosphere. If you love steaks or ribs Epic has to be one of your chosen restaurants.

Don’t be drawn in by what’s listed on the menu — your food won’t look anything like it and it won’t taste like anything edible. The staff wasn’t friendly. The kitchen didn’t look clean. Just skip it.

Disappointing experience, not bad, just disappointing. The starters were nice, though they did not have the steamed buns that I ordered. I changed to pork rolls, which were tasty, but the pastry was way too thick and undercooked and very doughy.

The two main course dishes arrived just luke warm. My rib eye steak was large, it was not hot and was chewy with little flavour. The leek and potato mash was barely lukewarm and had no sign of the butter that it was supposed to contain. My colleagues BBQ combo was ok, it too was lukewarm, the portion was huge, but the ribs were a bit tough.

When the bill arrived we were charged for three starters - ie the two we had plus the steamed bubs that I ordered but which they dod not have. I had to call the waiters attention to the error. The total bill was $120 incl drinks - not good value. There are many better restaurants nearby.

Vinegar-Based BBQ sauce. I wanted a sweeter variety in addition to the house sauce. Ribs were flavorful, but dry. Excellent service though.

Our orders were incorrect and when we sent a dish back it came back incorrect again. Then the salmon was presented extremely poorly with the skin facing up. It looked like they just flipped on a plate. Brisket was dry. Waitress never came back to refill our water or checked on our drinks. We would have ordered a couple more rounds but never had the opportunity. I had to get up and get more menus myself as they didn't give us enough. It was just poor all around.

A very nice restaurant, and a good source of BBQ in an area with few meaningful options. Service professional and prompt. Bar serves good mixed drinks, but narrow and crowded.

Tasty but SLOW! We had a 7:15pm reservation and we did not finish our food until 9:20. Took over an hour for the kitchen to prepare the main course. We may go back as the food was tasty and innovative.

Food was plentiful and well-prepared.The tomato-mozarella salad was creatively presented. Would like to see a smaller order (1/2 rack) of ribs available as a small plate. The tables are close together but the noise level was acceptable. Would have liked to have received moist wipes after eating ribs. I would return.

Food was Meh. Smells great, strong BBQ scent. The pulled pork salad was too hot with Sriracha ranch vinaigrette. The ribs were a bit too dry.
I'd recommend the kahlua pork rolls for appetizers, delicious!
Chocolate dessert was great!

Service was excellent, the meat had a good flavor and was properly prepared. My primary objection was the limited range of flavors. Carolina only barbecue and fixins vs. an option of say Memphis style or Texas style (or both). If you are a big fan of vinegar and mustard-based sauce you'll be fine. If you prefer other flavors not so much.

I would recommend the pulled pork salad - It was very flavorful. The burnt ends were okay and we also had the pulled pork platter - pork wasn't very warm and the coleslaw was not a flavor I was a fan of. Overall it was good.

Wow - these were the worst ribs I've ever eaten. I've had better from a sandwich wagon. Definitely NOT worth the $30 bucks they got me for.

I would NOT eat here again! Ordered: Apple Wine Smoked Ribs
They were terrible, days-old-dry and completely flavorless. If a $30 "Big Plate" is this poorly prepared, served and flavored I don't have much hope for the rest of them menu.

The smell of meat when I walked in was an immediate turnoff. Drinks were good/strong which was a plus. Fried chicken and asparagus was good. Steak was tender but not what I expected taste wise. I had the 10oz but it was a lot of fat when I got it. Not a bad place, I personally wouldn't eat here again. Oh, the key lime pie was amazing!

Ambiance was nice and the noise level allowed one to have a good conversation with a friend without worrying about other people hearing it. Service was prompt and did not overly intrude. They didn't try to force anything on the customer. There crab cakes were excellent, but my friends said that the brisket was dry and he's had better at less expensive places.

First off, I must say the prime rib was very good and would go back if not for our waiter. It was our first time at this steakhouse, we were greeted warmly by the receptionists but our waiter was a different story. Daniel was unattentive from the beginning, we were waiting to order and he kept flying by us when we tried to waive him down. The place was not busy this night.

We did order after his last flyby, he took our order but I noticed he did not write it down. I ignored this until my date's appetizer came, she started to eat since we thought my appetizer would be right over. I stared to waive down our waiter to ask where my food was and he kept walking by us. I started to think is this guy blind? When the buzzer came by to ask for our dishes I was extremely annoyed and hungry at this point after watching my date eat her food. We asked the baby see about my order and he said he'll check. By the time he checked our main course came and then Daniel came by to say he "forgot" to place the order. By then, I was annoyed and didn't enjoy my prime rib, although it was good.

Albert helped us out rest of the time, he was very cordial. Wished we had him from the very beginning.

Good food but BEWARE of DANIEL, the UNATTENTIVE ALOOF WAITER.
