Very good brunch menu but we prefer the normal menu. We had a slight problem with one meal and they were quick to offer to substitute it. Great staff!!
Kevin was AMAZING
As always, great food, wine (Angels and Cowboys red blend) and service(Rashad). We often dine here when traveling to Northern Virginia. A definite repeat. Something for everyone.
The mac ‘n cheese may be the best I’ve had anywhere. And I’m from the south, we know mac ‘n cheese.
The food was good. We did wait quite a long time to get our food, though. Our server was good.
Good food and great service
Our server was amazing! Real likely place to go for dates or happy hour. A lot of food for your buck. Definitely recommend !
Great place for authentic BBQ Texas style and the Sunday Brunch is great!!
Valentines dinner with my husband. We sat at the bar to take advantage of the happy hour specials. The bartender was very nice and service was great. However, the food was just mediocre for the price. I had the brisket which unfortunately was a bit dry. My husband had the stuffed shrimp which was fine but nothing special. The best part was the Brussels sprouts.
The menu is fairly limited and as expected features barbequed meats which are only average. Available salads and sides are also only average. An acceptable dining option but nothing special.
The wait staff was wonderful from front to end. The food tasted like lighter fluid while they messed up Mac and Cheese
Even the aroma that greets you when you walk in is worth the trip! Wonderful smoked meat smell and great decor. The bacon cheeseburger was fantastic, and the fries with a taste of herbs de province were the best!
The food was fantastic, our waiter was very friendly and accommodating! The food was a bit pricey, but it is worth it, especially for a nice night out.
Dinner at Epic Smokehouse was very good. My husband got ribs and they were very good. I got crab cakes and they were good. Service was excellent and ambience was was current and lively. We would definitely go back!
First time, but will return!
Great place and outstanding food.
AWESOME Restaurant!! Food was fresh, hot and taste very good! Service was the best I have had in a long time! Ambiance really nice!
We had a great experience here. The waiter was great and he food was good!
Bottom line BBQ was tender but the BBQ sauce needs more variety it wasn't that good. The smokehouse Mac & cheese was a huge disappointment. The macaroni was hard (undercooked)the dish was dry itself with no creamy consistency at all. I would recommend the crab cakes, Carolina slaw and ancho salad. In all services was great drinks over priced!
Came here for lunch and had the Smoked Combo - includes a piece of brisket, 3 ribs, and a half serving of pulled pork (full serving being what would come on their sandwich). The ribs were good and the pulled pork was pretty good, if lacking a bit of flavor. The brisket was pretty dry and overcooked. The side of "bacon sprouts" (bacon and brussel sprouts) were ok, but a bit soggy and overcooked.
The staff were all great. The guy (who I assume was the manager) greeted me and asked about my party - I came a bit later and when I took a second to tell him the name on the reservation he guessed it and left me right to my table. The server was also very good - making sure my drink was always topped off and offered good insight on several of the dishes (although, I disagree with us assessment of the brisket being juicy).
Overall it was a decent experience but the food wasn't very good. I may try this place again at some point in the future to see if the food has gotten any better, or maybe try something else on the menu.
Apple smoked ribs were delicious, although my friend who had the fried chicken did not like them. Good place to eat and visit.
Best Barbecue in DC Area. Beautiful layout with delicious food and great customer service. Great for lunch or dinner, family or romantic. I would and do recommend this place to everyone.
We dined early in the evening New Year's Eve. Everything was consistent from our previous experiences with this restaurant. Definitely recommend. Service was awesome.
Our credit card statement did not reflect the same amount as our receipt. While it was only a small discrepancy of less than $10 this is still immoral and illegal. Unfortunately our experience was overall poor regardless of this issue. The service and food were both lackluster. I can often overlook food with good service but the service was inexcusable.
Food was very great & so was the service! I would go back another time
My friend and I had brunch. It was awesome. Ribeye, shrimp & grits and bottomless mimosas. Their cornbread muffins with blueberries are to die for!
Loved this restaurant- our server was wonderful. The food was amazing and a really fun atmosphere.
A bit overpriced for the portion. No smoke ring on the meat for a bbq place. Ribs were not fall off the bone tender.
Gathering of friends from different states before Wreaths Across America st Arlington Cemetery.
Arrived on-time and seated promptly by hostess. Had the smoked chili for lunch - out of this world! Service very attentive. I am a regular at Epic and have never been disappointed.
This was a return trip to Epic and again met our dinning expectations. Celebrating three birthdays at once can only be done at Epic. Great food, staff and atmosphere. If you love steaks or ribs Epic has to be one of your chosen restaurants.
Don’t be drawn in by what’s listed on the menu — your food won’t look anything like it and it won’t taste like anything edible. The staff wasn’t friendly. The kitchen didn’t look clean. Just skip it.
Disappointing experience, not bad, just disappointing. The starters were nice, though they did not have the steamed buns that I ordered. I changed to pork rolls, which were tasty, but the pastry was way too thick and undercooked and very doughy.
The two main course dishes arrived just luke warm. My rib eye steak was large, it was not hot and was chewy with little flavour. The leek and potato mash was barely lukewarm and had no sign of the butter that it was supposed to contain. My colleagues BBQ combo was ok, it too was lukewarm, the portion was huge, but the ribs were a bit tough.
When the bill arrived we were charged for three starters - ie the two we had plus the steamed bubs that I ordered but which they dod not have. I had to call the waiters attention to the error. The total bill was $120 incl drinks - not good value. There are many better restaurants nearby.
Always enjoy Epic
Vinegar-Based BBQ sauce. I wanted a sweeter variety in addition to the house sauce. Ribs were flavorful, but dry. Excellent service though.
Our orders were incorrect and when we sent a dish back it came back incorrect again. Then the salmon was presented extremely poorly with the skin facing up. It looked like they just flipped on a plate. Brisket was dry. Waitress never came back to refill our water or checked on our drinks. We would have ordered a couple more rounds but never had the opportunity. I had to get up and get more menus myself as they didn't give us enough. It was just poor all around.
A very nice restaurant, and a good source of BBQ in an area with few meaningful options. Service professional and prompt. Bar serves good mixed drinks, but narrow and crowded.
Don't hear for Sunday brunch. Very interesting menu good choices. Food was great. Service was not great barely acceptable. Like this restaurant will be back just wish Sunday bartender / servers were better equipped
Tasty but SLOW! We had a 7:15pm reservation and we did not finish our food until 9:20. Took over an hour for the kitchen to prepare the main course. We may go back as the food was tasty and innovative.
