Great place for authentic BBQ Texas style and the Sunday Brunch is great!!
Valentines dinner with my husband. We sat at the bar to take advantage of the happy hour specials. The bartender was very nice and service was great. However, the food was just mediocre for the price. I had the brisket which unfortunately was a bit dry. My husband had the stuffed shrimp which was fine but nothing special. The best part was the Brussels sprouts.
The menu is fairly limited and as expected features barbequed meats which are only average. Available salads and sides are also only average. An acceptable dining option but nothing special.
The wait staff was wonderful from front to end. The food tasted like lighter fluid while they messed up Mac and Cheese
Even the aroma that greets you when you walk in is worth the trip! Wonderful smoked meat smell and great decor. The bacon cheeseburger was fantastic, and the fries with a taste of herbs de province were the best!
The food was fantastic, our waiter was very friendly and accommodating! The food was a bit pricey, but it is worth it, especially for a nice night out.
Dinner at Epic Smokehouse was very good. My husband got ribs and they were very good. I got crab cakes and they were good. Service was excellent and ambience was was current and lively. We would definitely go back!
First time, but will return!
Great place and outstanding food.
AWESOME Restaurant!! Food was fresh, hot and taste very good! Service was the best I have had in a long time! Ambiance really nice!
We had a great experience here. The waiter was great and he food was good!
Bottom line BBQ was tender but the BBQ sauce needs more variety it wasn't that good. The smokehouse Mac & cheese was a huge disappointment. The macaroni was hard (undercooked)the dish was dry itself with no creamy consistency at all. I would recommend the crab cakes, Carolina slaw and ancho salad. In all services was great drinks over priced!
Came here for lunch and had the Smoked Combo - includes a piece of brisket, 3 ribs, and a half serving of pulled pork (full serving being what would come on their sandwich). The ribs were good and the pulled pork was pretty good, if lacking a bit of flavor. The brisket was pretty dry and overcooked. The side of "bacon sprouts" (bacon and brussel sprouts) were ok, but a bit soggy and overcooked.
The staff were all great. The guy (who I assume was the manager) greeted me and asked about my party - I came a bit later and when I took a second to tell him the name on the reservation he guessed it and left me right to my table. The server was also very good - making sure my drink was always topped off and offered good insight on several of the dishes (although, I disagree with us assessment of the brisket being juicy).
Overall it was a decent experience but the food wasn't very good. I may try this place again at some point in the future to see if the food has gotten any better, or maybe try something else on the menu.
Apple smoked ribs were delicious, although my friend who had the fried chicken did not like them. Good place to eat and visit.
