I highly recommend the Chef's Menu. The Kokoda ( Fijian style ceviche) is one of the best things I have ever tasted! The Young Coconut Pudding was the perfect ending to a delicious meal. We had an amazing experience here!
The restaurant was nice, the server was fantastic. But the food was a bit pricy, and one of the entrees we got. The charcoled chicken or something like that was dry and to me was unenjoyable. But the rest of the resturant was amazing!
Dinner was amazing, but it was insanely loud. Felt like eating at a disco. Service staff was incredibly attentive and helpful. Food was amazing!!! However, my ears were ringing when we finally left.
The staff in the door are the worst and they are unbolt .
They made us wait 30 minutes for our table and then sat us at a bar table next to everyone waiting to get seated and the bathroom. When we asked for a proper dining table they said it would be another 30 minutes
My date and I had a great time at E.P. & L.P. I was really trying to impress her and this venue helped me achieve that. We started up top in the rooftop bar. It was bustling with people, yet it was still easy to quickly order and receive our drinks, and we really enjoyed the lively atmosphere. Downstairs, the restaurant was romantically lit and cozy even with the great music playing overhead and the loud mums of conversation. The food was good as well. We had a great experience.
Tasty food, nice presentation. It was a overall good. Way too loud for two people sitting across from each other. I think the wait staff could be a little friendlier but I plan on returning.
Everything was great but our waiter was very useless and didn’t know the food or how to help us select options. Overall enjoyed it but that waiter was not helpful.
Favorite restaurant in LA. From the Service, food, music and vibe.
Valentines Day: menu was fantastic if a bit pricey at $100/person. But at the end of the day, the drinks were good (although again - $17??) and the meal truly delicious all through course #5. And the service was terrific as well, so why not splurge?
Always an incredible vibe when visiting L.A. Our second time here in a year. We fly in from Dallas, TX and have to eat here every time! I’m a foodie and it’s one of my favorite restaurants period!
The five course Valentines Day menu was terrific.
first, when we came over we got a really bad table we had to wait for 35 minutes to get a normal table!
wasted a lot of my time!
I celebrated my birthday with my family and my friends, the place was beautiful and the people were very nice, we had a memorable experience. Definitely DO recommend.
Service was very bad but the food and the ambience were great
We ordered 3 dishes and 3 drinks, all of which were phenomenal and would definitely order again. The ceviche, curry, and hot/sour fish exceeded my expectations. And the drinks from the bar (bodak yellow, the mezcal and passion fruit, and the frozé) were well balanced and delicious. I get the feeling you won't be disappointed by anything here.
Always such a pleasure. Loved the wings. It comes in so many pieces and honestly might be the best wings I’ve ever had.
The ceviche was excellent and the fried rice and crab bun were very good, but the mushrooms were only fair and the seafood and noodles didn't work. Actually the seafood was very good but the dry noodles were the problem.
I eat here on a weekly basis. It’s ridiculous I have to write a review every time ;)
Love this place! Food is always good and tasty and the vibe in the restaurant is energetic. Good music. The rooftop bar is my favorite part. Great for weekend day time fun, or right before the sunset. Have some drinks, enjoy the views and catch up with friends!
Awful. Would never go back
We were encouraged to go during Dine LA event and were pleased with the menu and service. It is quite loud, which is fun but not conducive to intimate conversation.
We were a large party there for a birthday and it took 20 minutes after we were sat to even be acknowledged by a server. After that he was complacent at best. He did accommodate my request to bring out a special dessert we had brought with a candle, but aside from that it felt very much like he knew he would be getting his 20% anyway, so why bother putting in any amount of effort. My meal was good, but overall with the experience I was extremely underwhelmed and would probably not make an effort to return.
Food great.. just felt like the server forgot about us for long amounts of times.
The service was slow. Won’t give dine LA menu unless you ask for it. Food was good. Waitress asked if we had food allergy. We informed her that my son had peanut/nuts allergy. They still serve us slaw w/ peanuts!!!! Had to grab our Epi-pen.
Really excellent food and service, however the dress code could be more explicable detailed on opentable. We were lucky in that we happened to abide by it, but could just as easily have been screwed out of a dinner.
Good service, music and nice people there.
Unfortunately the rooftop bar was closed to a private event! The food was great but the service was a little unorganized
My favorite place in LA ❤️ Cozy, groovy, informal, excellent cocktails and amazing food!
Loved the food, loved the service, loved the DRINKS!
Made reservations and when we showed up we were given bar seating. Had to wait an hour for a table.
Waited nearly 20 mins to be served after being seated. Place was not very busy but we were ignored until we were about to walk out. The server himself was very good once he came by. Going to chalk it up to shift changes or server not being told he was sat, however it left a very bad taste in our mouth for the establishment. Probably won’t revisit.
Ceviche! Delicious!!!! Everything else we had was amazing!
Really really tasty menu. I went with a vegetarian friend and was super impressed with their vegetarian options. Tried the vegan ceviche made with seaweed, and the fried rice and veggie curry. All were fantastic.
The food was not very good.
Great dinner for surprising my boyfriend for his birthday, the food was amazing and great for sharing! Drinks were incredible.
Great place for cocktails on the rooftop! Get there early as it’s always easier to get in. A line generally forms. But it’s a great time of hour coming to have drinks, and do a little people watching. Rooftop is a fun time. Been here with a couple of friends and also for birthdays!
The hostess intimated that our table reservation for four was just cleaning up. It took 30 mins for her to text. By that time we were famished. And ended up eating the bar menu.
Super trendy with food that's worth the price. Love going simply for the vibes.
There was s very limited menu for options snd vegan options. For a date night it was extremely loud.
