WSe ordered the salmonand the lamb - both delicious. The service was excellentand accomodated our requests.
Great place. I don't understand waiting in line for places on Summer St when this place is a block away on Bedford. A gem. Food was good. People were nice and wanted to please.
EOS never disappoints!!!
The food was outstanding, the service was personal and perfect and the ambience was just-right - airy, light, casual yet very special in a modest size restaurant.
small and cozy - good food - really good appetizers - only issue is parking
Consistently good Greek fare ! We love this place !
We spent Easter at Eos and had a wonderful time. Roast lamb and lemon potatoes were on the menu just like mom would make. The red eggs, Easter bread and cookies that were complimentary were wonderful. Thank you so much for a great Easter dinner.
Service was excellent. We were the only diners - came early on a rainy evening. Server was informative and friendly. Had holoumi as appetizer, branzino with dandelion greens and spinach as main course. All was very tasty. Was enough food that I took 1/2 home for another meal.
Eos is one of my favorite restaurants in the Stamford, Darien, Norwalk, New Canaan area. This place has been very good for several years and one of the older restaurants in the area. It has great food and offers a lot of variety on the menu depending on your tastes and appetite. My wife and I have been to Eos at least six or seven times. We go at least once a year. The wine list is notable in that it is very reasonable. The prices across the board are great.
This place is lively and can get loud on a weekend night. We've taken our kids before on a Sunday and it was good for them as well. I hope this place is around for at least another ten years. I don't see how you could be disappointed here.
Always goo. Always nice service. Healthy good value place for Greek food.
Had a delicious meal with a really good waiter!
Lovely evening. Quiet place. But a storm kept the place on the empty side. Don’t know how loud it might be whrn full.
Great staff and menu but a bit noisy.
Outstanding Greek food. Family owned, authentic preparation. Attentive friendly service. The flaming cheese is a MUST.
Usually go for dinner, this time for lunch. Still great, but somehow did not seem as good as I remembered it for dinner. Still a favorite however.
Good food, nice atmosphere, good service. Enjoy ordering the meze dishes and sharing.
Dinner was delicious and the service extremely friendly and attentive.
We have always loved Eos. First time back in over 6 months and felt just as amazing as the first time. Menu options, specials, always awesome. FRESH FOOD.
Never had a bad meal at this Greek restaurant. A favorite on our list!
Very good Greek restaurant in downtown Stamford. Walking distance to just about everything. Quite a nice selection of appetizers. Try the cod or Branzino as an entrée.
Our absolutely favorite Greek restaurant in the area. We come for dinner often and have known the family that runs the restaurant since they opened. Love the warm atmosphere combined with upscale fresh delicious Greek food and an attractive wine list. Our extended family always asks for a dinner at Eos when they come to town and we are happy to oblige. See you again soon!
The restaurant itself is beautiful and cozy. The staff is nice but we felt like there was only one waiter so service can be a little slow. The lamb was great but the steak was really dry. Wines are great. If you love Greek food and are familiar with what to order you will love it!!
We had not been to Eos in years. The food was fair. Portion sizes made much smaller for the price charged & tasted nothing like it used to be. There was poor service with one waiter covering the whole restaurant. We would never return again.
We love Eos and have been regulars for years. Everything is fresh and tastes great - we have so many favorites on the menu that it’s hard to pick. Look forward to being back again soon!
Was not my first time but food is always good and great location. Excellent value. Today's visit was a business meeting but just as good for special occasions and dates
I enjoy the food here, but the restaurant is cramped and somewhat noisy. Had to ask for a waiter after sitting for a time at the table.
Best Greek food around. Lovely decor, warm friendly service.
Loved the table! great service! amazing food but it was WAY TOO super hot in the restaurant. It was very uncomfortable. It also became so loud we had to yell to each other to be heard. Worth it for the food but we would go more if it wasn’t as loud.
Our server was excellent and the food was great! Not a morsel was left! Would definitely go back!
Fantastic branzino!! Can’t wait to go back for it again!!
It was our first visit and we loved Eos. The food was so good. I had one of the specials and it was out of this world.
A favorite Stamford dining choice!!
Sangaria is great. Lamb sliders my favorite.
Eos is always full of familys and couples enjoying their excellent greek food. All of the appetizers are delicious, and of course the fish is always excellent. You can try the flaming cheese dish for a bright surprise. We always start with the Mezze (3 dish combination), and add a couple other appetizers. You can fill yourself on appetizers alone. And the wine is reasonable.
food was terrific from apps to entree. Nice and quiet for a friendly get together. Very attentive staff.
We have dined EOS several times, the food was always consistently delicious. Love the Pita bread, Greek salad, Lamb chops and always Branzino. Our friends from Wilton was so impressed, have referred to many more friends, no wonder the noise level gets high on the weekends.
Excellent Greek cuisine in Stamford. Calm staff with tremendous warmth help guide our selection of appetizers and fish or meat entrees. We always try the Greek wines and have never been disappointed!
We really enjoyed our meal. The steak pita wrap was wonderful as was the fried calamari . One of my friends had the salmon and she thoroughly enjoyed it. Also, the white sangria is fabulous. The only negative comments I have are 1) the service was not great. We were there on a Tuesday night at 5:45 and we were one of only 2 or 3 tables of people in the whole place, so we thought that was pretty unacceptable to have such bad service; 2) the fried calamari did not come with any side sauce and when my friend questioned it, she was told that they had marinara sauce if we wanted some. She said yes please. It never came. Lastly, though I mentioned how wonderful the white sangria is, I thought $12.00 a glass was very steep for what it is. It is not unusual for a decent glass of wine in our area to cost $12.00, however, Sangria, which is typically made with inexpensive wine and a lot of filler, should not cost that much in my opinion.
Food has always been good and authentic but so much anymore. Wine list was mostly Greek but since I'm not familiar with Greek wines I was hoping for a little direction...our waitress didn't know the wines and didn't offer to get someone to help us. Overall very disappointing.
I am a fairly harsh critic of food. I think the Greek food at Eos is just about the best anywhere--and I live in NYC. If I lived nearby, I'd be eating it constantly!!!!!!
Eos was fabulous!! The food was amazing and our waiter Patrick could not have been better! This Greek girl will return!
