Whether you are entertaining for business or pleasure, having a birthday celebration or just a romantic dinner for two, we will do our best to keep you satisfied.
In 1980, Enzo's on the Lake opened as a lovely secluded lakefront restaurant, built in the style of an Italian villa. The restaurant is dedicated to the idea of simple yet sophisticated cuisine. The freshest fish, meats, fruits and vegetables that can be obtained are woven into a menu that emphasizes a unique culinary heritage and diversity. An extravagant antipasto bar welcomes you to the excitement of the dining room overlooking the lake. Enzo's on the Lake Ratings and Reviews
Always a wonderful experience. We were seated and decided to call friends. The waiter was very accommodating as we had to another half hour for them to show up. Food is consistently excellent as is the service. Looking forward to our next meal. We've be here at least a dozen times over as many years.
OMG - this is our favorite place. For the first time in 20ish years we got a bad meal. The snapper special was rubbery and I had to saw through it with a knife. The server never came back during the meal so I never got to say anything. I told her privately when she came to clear the table and she realized the neglect she then brought us a crazy dessert selection and coffee to make up for it. This so out of character for Enzo's -- I chalked it up to craziness because so many people there celebrating Valentine's Day on the Saturday before Valentine's Day. It was jammed packed yet we never felt a hint of being rushed. It feels odd not giving 5 stars across the board. Had this been my first time there, it would have been my last time.
This was my choice for a family bday dinner. It was rather loud in the dining room, so much so that it was hard to hear my table's conversation. It is adjacent to a small lake/pond, but our seating was right by the entrance and no view available that was worthwhile. I had the lamb, which I would eat again and recommend. Two of my family had the fish special of the day and both agreed the fish was overcooked. The clam dish and the ravioli, my other two daughters ordered were nothing special. We sampled 4 different desserts which were good but nothing extraordinary. Service was fine, although I think a reserved table deserves higher optimal seating priority and not placed right at entryway. 400 dollar bill with tip. I don't feel the experience matched the price. I would not return or recommend to others.
We love Enzo’s! Especially for the ambiance....
Great food and great service!
Really great if you go during the week for a special occasion....
It was our anniversary, and they treated us to cake and cookies...homemade, of course!
A lovely view of the lake if you get there soon enough.
Enzo's used to be the go to Italian restaurant in Central Florida. I had moved away shortly after Enzo's death and didn't know whether standards had been maintained. Unfortunately I discovered last night that there has been some slippage. The Veal chop was so spicy my friend couldn't eat it; his son's Fettuccine Alfredo was runny with overcooked chicken , and the antipasto was not the great selection of vegetables roasted in top quality olive oil that I remember. If you are going to skimp on the olive oil, you might as well go to Pizza Hut.
The Caesar dressing tasted bland, so I asked if the recipe was the classic anchovy based variety, and when the answer was no, and I asked for a couple of anchovies for the dish I was hit with an uncharge without warning. As to desert, the cake could have been a tad more moist.
The saving grace to the whole debacle was the server- she was delightful, other than failing to warn about uncharges for splitting dishes, etc.
I had Gargannelli Arrabiata Saltate and my wife had Penne Vodka. Both dishes were absolutely fantastic. The Ceasar Salad was also excellent as was the Gelato we had for dessert. The service is always outstanding. Enzo’s on the Lake is a beautiful restaurant in a gorgeous setting with great food and awesome service which is why it is one of the top restaurants in Central Florida.
This has always been one of our favorite places in town for special occasions and date nights. Intimate, lake view and authentic amazing Italian food make it a special gem outside Orlando. Take the server's recommendations, ask about specials that aren't on the menu, and always start with the antipasto :)
First time to Enzo's and it was wonderful! The atmosphere, the food and especially the service. We will be back. We were seated in the main dining which was very crowded and loud. So if your looking for a romantic night, ask to be seated in the back room on the left it is very quiet there. Next time were going to tryout the bar and the appetizers.
This was our second time to Enzo's and we were just as pleased as we were on our anniversary a year ago. We split the antipasto plate which was incredible! Diners can either let their waiter choose a selection or the diner can accompany the waiter to the large display of offerings and choose what they 'd like. This is what we did and everything was delish, especially the salmon wrap and eggplant wrap. My husband had the osso bucco which was falling off the bone tender and I had the zuppa de peche. It was very good with the exception that the fish was a bit overcooked and there was only 1 shrimp. We split the taramisu and wish we'd each had our own - totally delish! We won't wait another year before returning!
Went there for 25th Wedding Anniversary, arrived early, seated right away. Excellent service, food was great. They made it special evening for us, brought us an excellent a cake dessert at the end of dinner as a surprise to us and with it homemade Italian cookies, did not expect. Excellent, we have lived in the area for over 30 years and I can't believe we have missed out for this long. We will definitely be back.
This was for my wife's surprise birthday party. Table was perfect size. Great choose of REAL Italian food. Sadly they where.out of one of there specials , but we all where able to sample the last one. The food was fantastic and the service was impeccable. Portions could be a littlelarger for the price, overall great night had by all!
Enzo's is the perfect place for that special occasion. The service is exceptional. There were 6 of us in our party and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal. We had both selections from the menu, and also specials for the evening. Everything was wonderful. They have a great selection of Italian dishes, but also offered wonderful fresh fish. Our server offered an antipasto plate as an appetizer and customized it for our preferences. We did not order dessert, but a plate of cookies was offered to give us just a bit of sweet after our delicious meal. I have been to Enzo's multiple times for birthday, anniversary or Valentine's day and have never been disappointed.
Delicious food and excellent service provided in a warm, charming atmosphere. What sets Enzo's apart from other top-notch restaurants is the attention to detail and personal service. We celebrated our 45 wedding anniversary at Enzo's and what made it memorable in addition to the mouth-watering antipasto and entrées was the special recognition Enzo's host gave to this event.
Our place to go for special occasions and to ensure a delicious meal. Never disappointed. We celebrated our son’s birthday on Thursday, 12/21. The restaurant was full. We were easily able to converse. And, Susan either only had our table to serve, OR, that’s what we thought. She’s also helping us plan our son’s rehearsal diner/party at Enzo’s. That couldn’t be going better, especially since she just celebrated her son’s wedding at Enzo’s !!
Consistently high quality and great service. Everyone enjoyed their meal, as always. Only suggestion I might make is to give the customer a heads up as to the price of specials. Had one of the most delicious veal chops we have ever had, but when we saw the price of 2 of them, kidded the hostess that we might need a mortgage to pay for it.......;-) !!! Our bad for not asking while ordering, but it did not affect our very positive opinion of Enzo’s and we’ll return again, but ask the price of specials the next time.
