Enzo's on the Lake
In 1980, Enzo's on the Lake opened as a lovely secluded lakefront restaurant, built in the style of an Italian villa. The restaurant is dedicated to the idea of simple yet sophisticated cuisine: family owned, crafted with love. The freshest fish, meats, fruits and vegetables that can be obtained are woven into a menu that emphasizes a unique culinary heritage. An antipasto bar welcomes you to the excitement of the dining room overlooking the lake. There is a full service european style bar, private dining areas for meetings and parties, and lakeside gardens and dock.
We look forward to serving you!
Bar :Tuesday-Saturday 5:30pm-10:00pm
Food and wine were great and the service was impeccable. This is one of our favorite restaurants.
The ambiance and food was wonderful. The view of the lake while you dine was tranquil. I can’t wait to go back and enjoy the food and the service was excellent.
First time. Excellent experience. From the Prosecco at the bar, dinner and dessert. Excellent service.
It definitely smelled like mold in the dining room. I could actually see mold in between the windowpanes. I understand it is an old house, but someone should use some air freshener or essential oils. The meatball appetizer was excellent. The complementary bread and butter were good. I would like to have had some olive oil and balsamic vinegar or herbs to dip it in instead of the butter, like many restaurants provide. The dressing for the Caesar salad was bland, but the lettuce was fresh. The ravioli special had spinach and ricotta with the red sauce. It was delicious, as was the veal piccata, which was served with peas. The free slice of birthday cake was Italian wedding cake, and it was yummy.
What a wonderful experience! The food was delicious, the staff were all friendly and attentive, and the views of the sunset over the lake were amazing! Highly recommended!
Absolutely the best most authentic Italian restaurant I've been to in the Orlando area.
The food is amazing and the place itself is authentic!! I recommend getting there a bit earlier than your reservation so you get a cocktail and enjoy the lake view outside until you are ready to eat. We were fortunate to have a beautiful table overlooking the lake & gorgeous gardens.
For appetizer we split (more than enough for 2) the Antipasto Della Casai & it was fantastic, Italian cheeses, Italian meats, shrimp, olives warm bread all very fresh!!!
We skipped salad because we wanted to totally enjoy our entrees!
For the entree we both had Dover Sole a must have!!! Lightly sauteed & deboned table side served with fresh vegetables & roasted potatoes.
For dessert, Tiramisu & Italian Wedding cake, fresh strawberries & kiwi! I never eat all my dessert BUT I didn’t leave any crumbs behind!!
Topped off the evening with Cappuccino. Enzo’s is the best Italian meal we’ve had since the North-end in Boston.
Definitely will be back very soon!! Also a shout out to our wonderful efficient congenial server Susan!
Dining at Enzo's is always a special treat. The ambiance is wonderful and the food is amazing. I think of this restaurant when I want to treat somone to a special experience.
Exceptional food and great service. Our waitress was very attentative and Pete the bartender was great.
Was awesome.. customer service was great. Food delicious.... definitely I will go back....
Our meal was okay but nothing special. I ordered veal marsala and it came with a spoonful of peas sliding around on one side of the plate! I use peas at home at a quick veggie when I can’t be bothered to put more effort into a side dish! Caprese salad was also not well presented. Veal was slightly overdone. Not value for money! Will not be returning.
Fabulous from start to finish - from the antipasti to the fresh made pasta!! Yummy!
There is only one word to describe it: impeccable.
We were celebrating our 38th wedding anniversary and was absolutely delightful!
This is our third time dining at Enzo’s. It’s a hidden gem and I would recommend to anyone! Their specials are always great and the service is wonderful!
My wife and I had our anniversary dinner at Enzo’s and it was a wonderful experience. Our server Ernesto and bus boy Fernando very knowledgeable and provided amazing service. Enzo’s is our favorite restaurant and we highly recommend to anyone that appreciates fine dinning.
My wife and I had not been to Enzo's for some time and she took me there to celebrate my birthday. It was rewarding to see the place still delivers an iconic experience. The simple fact that Enzo's has been in business for almost 40 years says it all.
Excellent meal and experience. Authentic Italian food with a friendly and quaint atmosphere. They knew we were celebrating a birthday and brought a generous piece of cake with a candle. Thank you Enzo’s!
Great food very fresh and homemade! I absolutely loved the place very italian
Always authentic and wonderful! Best food and service!
We always have a special time whenever we come to Enzo’s.
The best restaurant in Central Florida by far. Great atmosphere, outstanding service, and delicious food.
Dover sole is the specialty, and is delicious. But they sell out early. Watching the waiter debone the fish was pretty cool. Although had I known the market price was $60, I might have reconsidered.
Wonderful experience as always. One of the most iconic and romantic restaurants in Orlando. Very old school and it’s done right.
This is our favorite restaurant in all of Orlando. They are definitely worth checking out and the drive.
Excellent service and went out of the way to make the evening special. General ambience is fantastic with grounds that go right up to a patio deck on the lake. Slightly loud inside the restaurant , but could still easily carry a conversation at the table.
Food was great, service was excellent. We had 7 of us for a birthday dinner and had a great evening thanks to Enzos!
Enzo's on the Lake delivers a great dining experience with authentic Italian food, excellent service, and good view. I especially like the anti-pasta that is prepared daily and you can accompany the waiter to the anti-pasta bar and help select the items....and get great advice to extend your flavor range. The food is also great the tenderloin with parmesean crust was a super piece of meat. I live over an hour away, but when I'm in the vicinity, I always plan on dinner there.
Excellent Italian food-best in the Orlando area and maybe in all of Florida (comes from a New York Italian)
Food was excellent. Wondered why my martini wouldn’t sit on the table without spilling (had to hold it). Gave me olives instead of a twist, but no biggie. Waiter was a delightful young man. Need more wines by the glass as my husband and I drink different wine, 2 bottles is too much. Overall had a nice experience. Yes, I recommend.
It was our anniversary and it was disappointing that it was not acknowledged by hostess nor server.
Also, we felt very rushed. Not a relaxing dinner at all! We ordered wine, appetizer and a meal and we were finished by 6:35.
Setting and service are sensational. Food is real Italian. Valet parking is a real plus, especially in the rain. Great for romance, just chatting or having a good meal. Too bad they are not open all week or for lunches (except Friday).
Wonderful meal and service
The food was wonderful. We went on a Friday lunch which is the only day they have lunch. Prices were very reasonable But the menu is limited. That's said we all had no problems selecting something we all loved. There was not one complaint at the table as to food. Our waiter was wonderful but very busy, so sometimes he had to be prompted to fill the water glasses but other than that no complaints
Ted and I got married at Enzo’s last year! We love it there! Good and service is exquisite!
Food was extraordinary. Ambieance and service could improve. We had to wait 15 min to be seated and had a reservartion.
I have eaten 4 times here before and each time was excellent. This time I was very disappointed. First I had a reservation for 8:15 pm. When we arrived we had to wait 25 minutes before seated. We were seated in the side room and there was a sewer smell. We asked to be moved only to be told there would be a 15-25 minute wait. We stayed where we were. Service was extremely slow but at least waiters were friendly. Meatball appetizers was good. Caprese salad was good. The lamb chops I ordered were very bland and over cooked for a medium temperature. No seasoning. Polenta was hard. Broccolini was good. My wife’s pasta dish was good. Tiramisu dessert was way too sweet.
One of the best birthday meals ever thanks to Ernesto and fabulous food! Grilled shrimp with a light sweet pepper sauce was unbelievable! From the bar tender to Joanne, all work to make the experience so memorable.. The view of the lake was also spectacular at sunset. Thank you all...
Excellent food and service, first time going to the restaurant. Close quarters and multiple rooms can make it noisy at times, but adds to the ambiance. Great date night or special occasion place to eat.
We enjoy Enzo's. I would grade higher except the food was not great. I shudder to order bouillabaisse, or any Pesce del mare. I was disappointed. The shrimp were all over cooked , since they make up most of the dish, they were disappointing. The shrimp were also bland in the antipasto.
