Lovely setting. Small and cozy. Food was very good. Staff was very efficient and friendly.
The food here was excellent; however it was insanely packed and unorganized for Valentines Day. They say people according to the time they arrived at the restaurant- not according to their reservation time. We arrived at 815, had a res at 830...she told us to wait with the others...the others had reservations at 845 and they sat down before us. The food service was unorganized as well- we waited for apps when others got entrees after being seated after us.I know Valentine’s Day is crazy for restaurants but maybe book less couples for a more enjoyable experience.
Went for Valentine’s Day. It was a $75 prix fixed menu with what looked to be some great options. It was immediately clear that this restaurant was all about turning the tables. The food was like warm and they were pretty much throwing it at you. Our reservation was for 7 pm and they rushed us through a four course meal and had us paying our check by 8:15. I’m really bummed because I’ve been to Entree before and had a lovely experience and the food was amazing. I guess moral of the story is don’t go here on Valentine’s Day.
Overall we had a really disappointing experience. We felt rushed by wait staff who went so far as to explicitly tell us they needed to keep our time moving as there was another party coming in. First two courses were above average but main course and dessert below average. Short rib was overcooked, scallops undercooked, shrimp was bland, pasta was bland/could have been from a box, and the ice cream was freezer burnt. All for a $75 per person meal, which is steep even for Philly. Overall, from what we had heard, expected far better.
It was great! Will definitely be back!
We love it hear! It’s a bit pricey, but definitely worth it! Keep in mind it is a very small dining room; I would consider it quite cozy! The bigger the party you go with, it actually works out the more space you end up having.
We love this restaurant. We went for a pre-valentine day dinner. We were the only guest in the restaurant which we loved. It felt like we were on a private date. Foos is delicious. Our waiter Jordan was amazing. So friendly & knowledgeable waiter ever. We can't wait to return
This was my second time going and everything was great. The food was delicious. Service was good. Definitely recommend the Fried Oreos for desert.
A definite spot for a date night, anniversary, birthday or for that matter any occasion. Every single thing that we ate was fantastic. Being a meat lover I would definitely suggest the ribeye and the duck breast. The menu is a lot. But give them some clues as to what you like and what you don't and then just sit back, relax, sip your wine and let them take care of you. Of course I am biased towards Jordon (my friend who made the experience extra special) but all of them have a big smile to greet and serve you.
We had an amazing experience. The ambiance was great as well as the service and food. We will be back.
Such good food! Fresh! Amazing food!!!
Very nice place, the food was phenomenal, the space was tight but it was still a wonderful place.
Great food, my only complaint was that the place was very dark, very noisy and very crowded. We had to ask the people next to us to get up so we could depart after our meal. There are tables crammed everywhere: on entering one stands just inches between two tables of diners while waiting for the greeter to locate a free table. I think most people are fine with noisy, crowded restaurants but for me it was a bit much.
Went for restaurant week and absolutely loved it! The scallops were amazing, and their fried Oreos, wow so good. Definitely recommend and definitely will go back!
Varied food choices. Nice& friendly servers. Nice neighborhood spot
A friend and I dined , during Rest.week so we shared the 3 courses ×2 offerings. We most enjoyed the hanger steak, and the desserts. I will come back for a full portioned menu and make a more appropriate analysis.
Tiny little place. Not lots of room but the service was spectacular. Our waitress was on top of everything and took great care of us. The oil that was with the bread was the best we have ever tasted. The ribeye was cooked perfectly and THE FRIED OREOS were a MUST.
From the moment the cheese platter hit my palate my mouth began to water. I was instantly transported to a blissful place in my head. The steak just melt in my mouth as I chewed slowly to saver every bite. It paired with great asparagus which had just the perfect firmness. Then the desert...not going to lie, best Nutella cannoli I've ever tasted. Great food, better experience! Definitely will come back soon!
Amazing. Hands down. Delicious. The flavor combinations are immaculate. I loved every bite literally. Highly recommend if you like new flavor combos or something a little different. I’m definitely going back.
Marta was our waitress (chef Kevin’s wife).
She was wonderful! The food and presentation were outstanding and Chef Kevin’s attention to detail was spot on. We will most definitely return.
Me and a few friends went for restaurant week and it was great! Tiny place but great crowd and delicious food
Will definitely be back!
Food & Service are really good. This was our 3rd time at this restaurant & we can't wait to return. The place is small & intimate which is one of the things that we like the most. Food is fresh & very tasty. Restaurant week is a very good value but my husband wants to go back even after restaurant week.
The food was outstanding and so was the space, but the staff was really exceptional! Informed, fun, polite.
The service was great and the food was delicious especially the fried Oreos.. the space is small but it’s worth the visit
Incredible homies. Well done. Killed it
Had an overall great dinning experience. The food was delicious. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. Small space but arranged well.
We went to Entree for Restaurant Week and it was delicious. We both left very full and it was great that it was BYOB.
The tables are a little close together, but the food was amazing!
Great experience for restaurant week! Cozy space and delicious food.
Fried Oreos are popping🥰
My friend and I came here for restaurant week last Friday and we were both very happy with our choice. The restaurant is small and intimate but it didn’t bother us in any way as we talked throughout the whole dinner.
The food was amazing. We split everything and we loved everything. Our waiter (a young man) was super friendly and attentive. The chef came out and asked how the food was which was great.
Will be returning soon!
We went for a restaurant week.. the appetizer were very small, but tasty same with rest of food. The waitress was very nice and nice vibes.
Chef is very aggressive if you give anything but high praise.
Before I could even go to my table, I had to take my coat off by the door. Due to the weather, I was wearing a big, puffy coat. Our table was against the wall and there was absolutely no way it was going to be possible to take my coat off once I reached the table - there was no room to maneuver. I felt quite a bit of stress just trying to navigate my way to the table without disturbing others - the tables were set very close together. After we were seated, our server came over and told us that he had found our reservation - that it was for outdoor seating. I explained to him that I thought that was some type of error when I booked and we both laughed because who would be sitting outside eating on a cold night in January. While we enjoying our first course, our server came over and said he had a favor to request of us. He led off with the fact that we had made an outdoor seating reservation and he needed to make arrangements for a table of nine and would we move to another table. We asked which table he wanted us to move to... It was a table right in front of the door. We politely told the server that we didn't want to sit by the door. I told him that if another table opened up, we would move. I was annoyed, but he was polite about it, so I didn't want to make too big a fuss. I wasn't sure why the servers weren't aware of the need for a table for larger party before we were seated. I was in the middle of eating my second course, when another server came over and asked us to move to the table behind us. Who wants their dinner interrupted in this manner? When it was time to leave, my cousin and I had to ask the ladies seated at the table next to us to get up in the middle of their dessert because our table was blocked in. Overall, my dining experience was chaotic and stressful. The food was okay. The servers were very nice and polite, but still they inconvenienced us greatly.
Entree restaurant was the most amazing experience for our party of 8 Jordan our server was funny, accommodating and a great server giving us additional menu options for restaurant week. We loved the ambiance and would highly recommend this restaurant. We visited DelFriscos last year but totally loved this cozy restaurant on South Street. BYOB and the food was totally a first class experience for all. Would definitely return for a great dinner and enjoying the company of your great friends. Thank you Entree for your outstanding food and great service.
Food was fantastic and our server Jordan was even better! Definitely recommend for Restaurant Week!
This was and absolutely wonderful meal - a dining experience! This is a neighborhood gem that any foodie would love.
Great 3course meal for $35/ per person- highly recommend this restaurant
