Super cute place with friendly staff and in a great area. Sadly and much to our surprise the food is pretty terrible. Eggplant parm, I could make better and Im not even slightly a chef. Pizza was terrible as well, though it looked great, you’re better off with a frozen pizza from the supermarket. Beet salad was good, but it’s hard to mess that up...
Short version: There’s about a dozen better places to eat Italian food within a couple miles. If you’re just looking for a cute spot to have a glass of wine (not food) in the neighborhood, this would be a good choice.
Excellent food, service, and atmosphere.
Appetizers, cocktails, dinner and dessert all greatly enjoyed.
As always - excellent service, well cooked fresh food. Very pleasant outdoor dining.
Our go-to local eaterie
Love the food here, I had chicken Parmesan and my husband had seafood. Both were excellent. Our waitress was fantastic. We love going here, just wish the noise level wasn’t so obnoxious. Sometimes you can’t hear your waitress or dining companions. Would still highly recommend.
Upon arriving the valet was professional and opened up my ladies door and mine as well. We were seated immediately and our waitress was able to recommend several items on the menu. The short rib ravioli was outstanding as well as the Italian margaritas. I will be going back to this place very soon!
Our table was not ready for our reservation time, but the food was good and our waitress was great!
Wonderful atmosphere and great food but LOUD. I think for two sitting at a small table not an issue but with a group of four it was hard to talk.
The noise level is a problem. But the rest is amazing!!
Second time to visit this restaurant, and it is becoming a favorite. We sampled through several menu items, all three risottos, octopus, and clams and all were excellent. I find the atmosphere, lighting and decor to be quite charming, and evocative of small trattorias in Italy.
We were seated outdoors by the valet which was very busy.
It’s just a little too dark in the restaurant, makes reading the menu impossible without using a phone light or other device.
Everything else is perfect!
Nice local cage
Lovely place will definitely be back! Pizza was incredible! Other food looked delicious!
Food and service excellent. Had Cesar salad-generous size and also the risotto with Meyer lemon, asparagus, and shrimp-rich, but delicious.
This has become one of my favorite places for Italian food. Cozy decor, great service and perfectly prepared seafood and pasta dishes. One of the best margarita pizzas I can ever recall having; light, crispy, and delicious. You won’t be disappointed.
As it is cozy and very popular, I highly recommend you make reservations online several days before.
The restaurant was empty and they put us at a small table in the back with a terrible view. Our waiter was inattentive even when not very busy. Usually they bring bread to the table, there wasn't any. My iced tea was never refilled. Poor service.
I had a reservation and marked it as a date and they tried to seat us at the two-seater table behind the front glass in front of the neon sign where they have no business even having a table.
Only down side dinner came out like warm and right after apps. No break in between service was very good
We went here for Valentine’s Day and had a wonderful night! Very romantic little spot and wonderful service.
Delicious food!! Always impeccable service! Love the environment at this restaurant!! My husband and I have taken many friends who love it and dine there often as well. GREAT RESTAURANT!!
Enoteca's menu represents not only the best Italian food in the area, it is also the best value for Italian food in Houston. Please don't eat there; I want my table to be available.
Great Italian food in Houston is hard to find. Enteca Rossa has it
The ribeye with mashed potatoes and broccolini was fantastic. My husband had had fish with shrimp which he said was great also. Our waitress, who we have had several times, was excellent as always-wish I could remember her name. This is a charming neighborhood spot in Bellaire and has become a go to favorite!
Our server was terrific! The food, delicious! We will be back!
Great menu. Ambitious food. Very delicious. Bread was amazing, too. Server was so nice, possibly had too many tables to attend. Wine by the glass needs attention. Not superb choices.
Great spot on Bissonnet convenient to Bellaire, West U and Afton Oaks. It has a very consistent menu with some nice specials (if you like Ossa Buco,sp) this is the place. Not really big, so check for tables.
Good food, good service, Way too loud for a Date Night. Seems this is the place where the neighborhood locals go when they want to talk LOUD to their friends. Couldn't hear myself think.
Dinner was very good unless you consider the burnt gluten free crust. Black crust. 2 celiacs and 2 non celiacs. We ordered sorbet and a molten cake with gelato. The molten chocolate cake had 2 very small spots of semi soft edge, but the entire inside was hot liquid. It needed10 minutes more in the oven. Waitress was like Ok. But she did nothing. We pushed it to the side, paid our bill and left. She should have shared with chef, brought it back to bake and returned with a finished product. We did not wait the 15 minutes she said it would take to bake. We’ve had it there before. As celiacs, dessert is a special treat. There was nothing special about this. It was completely raw. The acoustics at the back table were awful. The table behind us had two women shouting, obnoxiously cackling and taking selfies with a bright flash. It made a nice Sunday night dinner unpleasant.
In short, service was great. Food was very good. The atmosphere is like a very busy bar. The details. We had requested a booth- I understand there were only two of us but it never hurts to try. The host told us they were unavailable. When we were seated two were open, one stayed that way for half our stay the other was occupied as we were getting our bill. We waited about 10 minutes to be greeted by our waitress. Our server was great, but was obviously assigned too many tables. She was literally running all over the restaurant. Inside and out. She was very helpful and knowledgeable about the wines and helped with our selection. We ordered a cheese plate, salad and two entrees. All the food was very good. This place is super noisy and hectic. No way to get around that. It was a Friday night, so somewhat expected.
Great food, one of the finer Italian places in houston. Pasta portions are on the smaller side when you look at the price you pay. But the quality justifies the plus!
My boyfriend and I came to Enoteca Rossa to celebrate our anniversary. The ambiance was lovely and perfect for a date night. Very affordable and delicious food. Highly recommend the tiramisu! Will be coming back again soon.
Kids friendly and family friendly neighborhood gem.
Shrimp Diavolo - shrimp tasted somewhat fishy. Chicken Caesar - chicken wasn't good, egg dish was described as just ok. The 11-year-old liked his pizza.
We had a wonderful dining experience at this neighborhood gem. Service was friendly and efficient and our food was delicious and very reasonably priced!!!
This place is extra special! The food is amazing, ambiance is delightful and cozy. The staff is amazing.
It's probably a better restaurant for pizza than pasta; however, we ordered pasta. If I go back, I'll definitely order pizza. Hopefully, this was just an off night because the other reviews were really good.
LOVE this place! We have been going for a while now and each time is better than the last. Their food is fantastic- we love the truffle mushroom pizza! Their happy hour is such a great deal too-pizza and a bottle of wine for $25! Service is great and we’ve never ordered anything we didn’t love. Take your family, friends, or anyone you want to have an amazing meal with-it won’t disappoint.
