enoSTEAK Ratings and Reviews
Great atmosphere and ambience. Food was phenomenal. We shared the tuna, both had the petite filet, the cavatelli, and yukon mash. It's hard to say what was better, the steaks or the sides. Drinks were on point. Service was as you'd expect - great as well. It was my birthday, so they put us right in front of the fireplace. Very quiet, even with a larger table that had a family with kids next to us. We will definitely be back.
We enjoyed the food and the service was top-notch. Only issue was the loud table next to us which cannot be controlled by the restaurant. Since it's a resort you get a different mix of clientele. We went for my wife's birthday and all of the staff made her feel special by wishing her a happy birthday and bringing her a complimentary dessert with candle. The valet is only $5 which I couldn't find anywhere online before going so I thought someone might find that helpful.
This is a fine steak restaurant. The steak was fabulous. My husband, not a meat person, loved his lobster scampi as his main meal. This restaurant is located in the Ritz Carlton Laguna. I would recommend it to anyone wanting a great steak meal in a lovely setting in Laguna.
We dined on a Wednesday evening in August, and enjoyed every aspect. The place is styled with complete class, and being within the Ritz Carlton adds to that. The wine list is replete with excellent options at all price points. From the beginning (bread, pate) to end (dessert), the food was extraordinary, well presented and perfect. From hostess to captain to the server assistant, everyone was gracious and classy. A perfect evening.
First time at enoSteak and we absolutely loved it. We went to celebrate our wedding anniversary on a Saturday evening and will definitely return again. Had an absolutely wonderful meal.
FOOD - outstanding. Everything we ordered was cooked to perfection. The filet mignon was superb. Scallops were also very good. Oysters Rockefeller were tasty and the mushrooms were really nice. They even brought us a complimentary dessert that was unbelievable (chocolate mousse with fresh berries and chocolates). They have a great cellar wine list if you ask for it.
SERVICE - also outstanding. I believe our waiter was named Christian. He and the rest of the staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and very attentive.
ATMOSPHERE - excellent. We had a 6pm reservation so the place was almost empty at first. We were taken to a private table surrounded by 3 walls and it was VERY quiet and romantic. As the place started filling up, the noise level wasn't bad and we were able to carry on conversations without any trouble.
PRICE - I rated the "value" as very good instead of excellent only because the prices are a little higher than most of the other top notch steak houses around. Not to say it isn't worth the money, but it does put the total bill much higher than other places.
PARKING - complimentary valet parking in front of the hotel (just tip when you leave). No worrying about parking or walking far to the restaurant which is right inside the lobby.
We went to Eno Steak to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary. Knowing this, we were seated next to a beautiful fireplace and received outstanding service. Our meal was amazing and we were surprised that the bill was reasonable. We highly recommend this place for a romantic dinner.
I didn't mind the high prices, you'd expect the prices ($65-90 stake) from a restaurant at the Ritz, but you would also expect quality. We shared their most expensive cut which was 75% fat, and I don't mean 'marbled'. More of a dinner quality cut. There was more 'stake' o the plate when we finished than we actually ate. The macaroni cheese side were so salty it wasn't edible, ad so was the onion soup. lucky, the bread and liver spread were delicious. You'd be better off at Outback, not to mention wealthier.
This place is in one of the best locations in Orange County. We have been coming here for years. We have had great experiences in the past at the other restaurants. The views are great and this is a very nice hotel, if I ever win the lotto, I will come here and stay and eat all my meals. As for now, I will settle for an occasional meal on special occasions.
We went to celebrate a good year with work colleagues. The food was great. Our server was very nice. It didn't seem like they had enough staff. The dirty appetizer plates were not cleared. We had to ask. Found a water bottle under the table. Fine dining without the fine dining service. Come on Ritz Carlton. I expected a better experience.
No fault of the server, the steaks and the sides were terrible. I have never had a worse meal presented at a steak house of this price range. It was Thankgiving and it must have been an off night for the chef or kitchen. The steaks were not even on the scale of a Denny's
The staff was very nice about the matter (as if they expected a complaint) and would not let us pay for the food.
Worst thing about the night was we went home without a thanksgiving dinner.
