Enjoyed the Wine and Tapas featured on Wednesdays. Three wonderful small plates paired with 3 great wines. Great flavors, excellent pairings, great value.
First time here, all was amazing. Great, helpful staff, wonderful food selection and very tasty. Will be back!
Easy online reservation! Thanks to Holly for her attentive service! Great wine recommendations that complimented our food choices. Thanks for the Birthday dessert, it topped the evening and ALL was awesome and left us satisfied yet looking to come back and try other dishes another day.
I love this tapas style restaurant. Lots of yummy choices aslong with a lengthy wine list. My only complaint would be that the mysic was a little loud this last time.
Excellent food and service!
Very nice atmosphere and recently remodeled which is great. The food and drinks were excellent and we really enjoyed our time. We try to come here once every couple months.
The staff is very professional and a wonderful place to socialize.
Food was very good. When my shrimp came out overdone, they whisked them away and brought another made by the chef. Outstanding. The corn dish was great, too, My husband had airline chicken and that was also fab.
Brusetta and braised brisket were both amazing! The waitress was extremely helpful. Will be back!
This was a great restaurant. We tried 7 different small plates and each was good. We really liked the bbq prawns, t
A favorite dinner location. A bit "pricy" for shareable items, but food is always delicious and worth the splurge for special occasions or a night out.
Great food and wine. Really enjoyed the entire experience.
We had a great meal at Eno Vino. Awesome cheese board. Way too easy to just keep ordering amazing tapas until like us you end up having to take some home. Will definitely go back.
My wife and I go here almost every year for our anniversary or for Valentine's Day, but it's also an amazing place to go with a group of friends. The food is excellent, the drinks are aplenty, and the ambiance is second to none. Cost-wise, it's cheaper than you think and surely much cheaper than most other high end places, without losing any of that high end dining feel.
If you're looking for a big city-type, fancy dining place for your significant other or for your groups of friends and family, this place is a must.
We met friends we had not seen in awhile. Our waiter was very helpful and everyone enjoyed his recommendations. The menu has an eclectic assortment to choose from and we really enjoyed the small plate concept. The owner/mgr (?) stopped by our table twice to see how things were and we enjoyed the conversation.
Tried several dishes shared in our group of 4. All were very good. Very friendly and helpful servers and bartenders. The only negative was it was nosy making it hard to converse with people across the table but still okay. Would definitely go back.
I thought it was odd to not get the happy hour prices just because we were in the next room over. 4/5 stars.
I absolutely loved the food and service. They do an excellent job in presentation as well.
A place with great ambiance, service and selection of dishes. The food is fresh and beautifully prepared. The server was particularly excellent and took care of my husband's intolerance to onions without missing a beat.
No room for improvement. After a few visits the food quality and service are consistent. It's hard to find anything to criticize about the food. Server is always available and checking but never hovering or annoying; helpful and engaged but always understated.
Very accommodating for dietary restrictions. Lots of flavor, great balance. Fresh, unique, creative and satisfying. And a great range of ingredients and flavors. To be honest I'd almost expect to pay more for food of this quality.
In every respect - food, service, ambiance, menu choices, wine, bar, etc they exceed expectations and then, somehow, the overall experience feels like more than the sum of its parts.
Now I've only been here three times and it would take more visits to lock in a guarantee of consistency. But I've been to other restaurants which would be the direct competitors to Eno Vino and caught them on an "off" night. It can happen to the best. My gut tells me this is least likely to happen at Eno.
It was late on a weeknight and I saw a manager was available so I complimented and thanked her for the accommodations made for my dietary restrictions. It turned out that lady is the general manager. She was gracious with her time, had a very lovely and sweet disposition was and running a great show.
It was very busy and crowded due to a party so it wasn't easy to squeeze between some chairs on the way to our table. But once seated we didn't feel crowded and we were able to have a private conversation. The chatter level blocked out the music but it wasn't any nuisance. That's the closest I can come up with for "needs improvement" but at that point I'd be getting pretty picky. Because, as I said, we had plenty of room and privacy once at our table.
I'm really not into wine, so really not fluent in that language. My dinner guest is relatively well informed. Our server had no problem talking easily with both of us at the same time and making it look easy.
My new favorite restaurant in Madison. One of the best meals and evenings I can rememver in a long time. The food was amazing. The staff were in a class of their own. The setting and decor is perfect. Just two contrasting comments- it is popular. Therefore: it can be loud, it can be crowded, and parking can fill up fast.
We loved the new decor and enjoyed the BBQ prawns along with the Osso Bucco pork. The new desserts are also delicious. We tried the Ancho brownie and pear tart. We would recommend both! Thanks Eno for the keeping the new decor cozy!
Everything was perfect, as always. Food, wine, service are all top notch.
Great service and wonderful food.
Always love going to Eno Vino
Honestly kind of disappointed. We went here for our anniversary dinner, and while the food was pretty good (I recommend the seared tuna, but the crab cakes were a let down) and the wine list was nice, the ambiance was non-existent in the dining room area. First of all, SO DRAFTY! They placed us by the door initially, and as they don't have a double door to catch the chilly WI air (not smart...), there was a terrible freezing breeze. We asked to move farther in to the dining room, and while it was still drafty, it wasn't as bad as by the door. We watched as 3 more couples asked to move from that same table we were initially at as well! Clearly it's an issue. It was also not nice to be able to see in to the kitchen - they have no door, so you can see in very clearly to where they are cleaning dishes and all. Not romantic or appealing. In short, the food was decent, but overpriced for what it is. The wine list had nice easy-to-drink selections, but nothing special or spectacularly interesting. The ambiance was pretty poor in the dining room (to be fair, the bar area did look cozier). The service was really lovely, though! Just a huge bummer about the drafty, boring and off-putting dining room.
Jon took great care of us very knowledgeable, and helpful. He also made terrific recommendations. The food is a great value, and delicious.
Most dishes were extremely salty. Eno Vino could lower the sodium levels and fat levels and the place would still be as busy as it is now. Maybe even more.
Everything was pretty good except our waitress. She took quit a while to give us menus, then just as long to take our drink order. Our food was mostly delivered by other wait staff, whom we wished would have been our waitress or waiter. We will go back, but to the downtown Eno Vino. We don’t want to take a chance on getting the same waitress. Very slow & lacking a personality.
Our dining experience was a complete delight. The staff was very professional and helpful. Definitely returning soon.
Hannah was a wonderful server who was attentive and knowledgable. The food was amazing!
One of my favorite restaurants in Madison. It never disappoints. They’re always minor changes in the menu the keypad unique but the old standbys are always delicious too. My only slight complaint is that it Can get really loud. The acoustics could use some improvement.
Good atmosphere, but a bit noisy. Not so bad that we couldn't hear ourselves. Service was very good. Food too. Wine was a bit pricey.
My husband and I love to come here when we don't want a heavy meal, but an assortment of delicious options to share, and some quiet time together. Add the great options for wine, beer and spirits and it's the perfect date night!
Excellent food.. had the tacos, crab cakes and salmon. Server was very friendly. Great night! Noise level is actually perfect; not stoic but can still converse at the table.
We have dined here before. It is a solid choice with a decent selection of small plates. Will be pricey. Service on this visit was okay, she tried really hard but there was something missing
Good food and prompt, friendly service. We will go their again.
The tuna tacos are bite size. Way smaller than I had ever had before. Then the liver (fois gras) was also too tiny; one bite. It's not a sharable plate, and it's not worth 16 dollars! It was disappointing because of the size! And it came with 1 piece of toast drenched in butter.
The wine was good and the truffle fries were a good portion for sharing. Not sure about going back...
Eno Vino was great - as usual. They went above and beyond to help us celebrate a special occasion.
We have dined at Eno Vino many time and have enjoyed the delicious food and attentive waitstaff. There were a few changes to the menu which is always good for a restaurant to do.
Just an amazing setting and views, will be back soon
I met friends there for dinner and had a lovely time. Our waiter was wonderful. Would recommend it to anyone.
