   Made booking in middle of January for Saturday 2nd Feb on open table for 8.30 . When we arrived we found that the restaurant closed since Wednesday but yet no one taught to phone/email us to tell us that or to cancel our booking . I had booked it for a birthday meal out arranged babysitter and all so we would have a lovely nite and then to find out when we arrived it’s closed I was beyond annoyed....just ruined whole nite all because someone didn’t bother to lift the phone or send email to informed us of the situation.!!

   Service was ok, staff very nice. Food was bland and poorly cooked. Chicken wings had soft, soggy fat. Bruschetta - the standard tomato was ok but the cheese version was horrific...thick slab of cold cheese topped with a sweet, generic sauce. The bread was cold. The pizzas were ok...but lacked flavour...poorly seasoned. The main of seafood cannelloni was horrific...a pool of pink sludge. The salad was limp and looked like it had been dressed for lunch not dinner! Desserts were shockingly bad. The Affogato was made with bland ice-cream and the crumb had drowned in the coffee. The sundae was akin to something your 10 year old would produce with a few bottles of squeezy ice cream sauces and whipped cream...again, bland and sloppy. Finally, the pear tart was pale, soggy, flavourless. This is the third time we've eaten there and each time say, 'maybe it was an off night'. It appears all nights are off nights. It was our son's birthday and I had indicated this on the booking, but no reference was made to it at all. There was a billing mix up in the end which the staff handled well...so no issues there. All told, an awful experience, a birthday meal ruined. Will not go back and couldn't advise anybody else to either...given our experience. The menu needs an overhaul...perhaps removing things like chicken wings from an Italian would help. The cooking needs to be vastly improved. The ambiance is good, décor ok, staff friendly.

   Our booking was for 9pm on Friday night and a few members of our table were a few minutes late. After we placed our order staff kept hassling us to finish our food. This was very disappointing as the food was really good and it was unfortunate that we didn't have enough time to enjoy it. I just felt it took away from the whole experience on the night as it just came across that staff just wanted to be out of there by 10pm.

   Very lovely food , me and my boyfriend are both vegetarian and so we enjoyed the fact there were vegan options on the menu, parmesan cheese however isn't vegetarian and to put this on a vegetarian dish is completely inccorect , that is where the food lost a star for me , attention to detail for dietary requirements is very important 😁

   We booked table for 6.30 to get Early Bird Menu. We arrived at 6.25 and were given a la carte menu. When I asked for early bird menu, I was told it was over. I pointed out it was only 6.25. Server got us the menu then, and when she was giving it to us, we were told that order would have to be placed in next 3 minutes to avail of early bird, which it was. On Enos own website, on the menu page, it states weekend early bird runs to 6.45 and on Open Table site, it states early bird runs until 7pm. This needs to be clarified. Food was good, but the same could not be said for service. When it came to desserts, again we were handed the a la carte menu and had to request early bird menu. There were different staff serving our table throughout, so no consistency. It felt as though, they were annoyed that we were not eating off the a la carte menu and were trying to rush us through the meal, with plates being lifted before we were finished. When we went to pay we were charged a €3 supplement for the fish pizza - this is not written anywhere on the early bird menu that we were given by the server.

   Overall the food was bland and didn't taste very fresh. Service was friendly and attentive. I ordered the fritto misto, and a salad as a starter. The fritto misto portion was very small, the batter was doughy and greasy and the fish didn't taste very fresh. Most of the space on the plate was taken up by a side salad. I wouldn't have ordered the salad as a starter if I was told my main came with a side salad, I don't believe the menu stated this but I'm open to correction as I may have missed this. I feel the server taking my order should have noted this. My partner had the salmon which similarly didn't taste very fresh and was quite flavourless. It was a very expensive meal for what we got.

   My wife and I have been here on many occasions.This recent visit was a very positive experience.The food and bottle of wine were excellent.The service was good and the staff friendly and efficent.We will be back soon.

    Two people at our table got cold food which was disappointing. Other than that we had a nice time.
