Great variety of food. We ordered a lot of different options, all were fantastic!
Not worth it. Food was just okay. The waitstaff was fine but the food runner almost dumped our food and the front end hosts were surly. Won't bother going again.
Hostess refused to change our seating to a vacant table upon our request. Instead we were placed at a rectangular table overlooking the stairwell. Food was very average. Restaurant quite noisy. Would not recommend.
Overrated. Food was okay, likely won’t return. Service could’ve been better, waiter didn’t introduce himself, and took more than 10 minutes to just make contact with table and especially for it not being very busy. Also, bus girl upstairs was terrible and rude, plus saw her eat something and didn’t wash hands after. From the Milwaukee area and definitely my least favorite brunch place that I’ve attended thus far.
This was our first time and we had a great experience. We’re sad we didn’t come here sooner. Great variety of dishes to try and our server Emily was very helpful.
First time here and was blown away by it all. The fire station feel was on point. Our server was extremely patient and kind. Everyone we interacted with was kind! And the food!!!! Everything was extremely well prepared and tasty. Nothing was boring or dull. Highly recommend!
Great, flavorful food, effective & unobtrusive COVID protections, love being back
The breakfast inspired tapas/small plate menu is vast and each dish we had was incredible. We chose a mix of savory and sweet, which was the perfect balance. The setting is so fun - our out of town guests got a kick out of the fire station and loved their meal!
New way to do brunch for me. Love the tapas idea.
The food and atmosphere were nice. However, the service was definitely lacking. Our waiter was not accommodating and overall just rude. We enjoyed the food, but do not feel inclined to return.
The food was delicious and just the right amount. The service was great!! Love the atmosphere as well.
Every time I come in for breakfast I have a great meal. Only incident is that my friend asked for a 2nd cup of coffee and it never came, but otherwise, the rest of the tapas, environment, and service was on point.
Good Food. Good Friends. Good Time.
Very good food and dining experience! I would return to try some other menu items.
Went for brunch, good food, great service, prices were high for drinks and food.
Excellent Bloody Mary....just the right amount of spice. Had a delicious omelette (chef's choice) that had some sort of shredded beef in it....wouldn't have thought to try it but the waitress recommended. Good social distancing and hygiene practiced.
Excellent atmosphere and food! Fair service, not very friendly staff
Would highly recommend Engine Company if you want great food, friendly waiting staff, and fun vintage fire company decor!
Everything was delicious. The atmosphere is fun!
Was just okay—I was double charged for an egg entree for my 2 year old. Also, ordered a sprite for my 2 year old and was told no straws at all were available. After having a paper straw given to me the weekend before. I’m not sure how it’s expected for a 2 year old to drink out of a heavy glass with ice. It would have all ended up on the floor...so she drank nothing. Also was not really checked on at all by the server, rather disappointing
A different brunch option featuring tapas shareables and a socially distant atmosphere. The server was super knowledgeable about the dishes.
Cool atmosphere and a very international menu. Eggs and omlettes were very salty. Plantains were so fried, you couldn't even taste nor find a plantain at all. Tomato salsa excellent, as are rice and beans. Good coffee. Omlettes come with no sides. Very COVID-19 safe. Wait staff very good.
Great atmosphere and amazing food! Staff very friendly.
We had brunch and it was great! You have to try the sticky bun pancakes.
Only my third time there, but might be the best brunch in the city. Great drinks, friendly and knowledgeable staff, good safety protocols, and excellent food.
Delicious food! We shared six items among the four of us and we left full and happy. A great selection of vegetarian options, too!
Food and service were amazing. Felt good about the covid protocols and spacing. Great visit, will be back.
Waitress was rude to the table the entire time / never introduced herself / I’ve never had a less friendly waitress. Food was sub par compared to other times at Engine Co. Will not be coming back.
All of our food was so good and the service was exceptional. We will definitely be back.
Excellent service and great food! Very friendly and courteous to covid-19 guidelines.
Love the unique tapas style brunch! Empanadas were to die for. Loved the Goat Cheese curds, with delicious sauce. The cinnamon roll pancakes with caramlized pecans was outstanding. Delicious meal all the way around. We will return!
The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered numerous offerings and they did not disappoint. Our initial service was a little slow but once we ordered the food and drinks came out quickly. I appreciated the adherence to COVID protocols and felt very safe.
This was definitely my best brunch experience in Milwaukee yet!
We've been having brunch in the city about every other month this year as my daughter is attending college there.
Tables we well spaced out and they also had dividers which made us feel very safe. All the staff had masks on as well.
All the food was fabulous! We were all very happy with our food and the drinks were also fantastic!
We'll be back!
I wasn’t expecting a topas style breakfast. Was at this restaurant about five years ago and it was very different than it is today. I thought the food was creative and flavorful. Overall good experience.
Excellent food and service!
We will be back again.
Highly recommend ordering several items and sharing. The potatas bravas are a must!
We love the food at Engine House and are never disappointed!
Brunch. I just don’t like that the good doesn’t come out at the same time.
Our server was absolutely amazing! She made our Valentine’s Day brunch extra special.
