Great service and food! We had brunch and all 6 of us loved our food. Beef tenderloin, french toast, poutine and omelets were all delicious. Our server was so cheerful, efficient and friendly. The coffee server kept our cups filled. Perfect brunch for everyone!

The venue, service, and food were all excellent! I went there for brunch with friends to celebrate a birthday. Being immunocompromised, I asked that our server wear a mask which they did. It was a very pleasant experience and I will most certainly go back.

A hidden gem, had amazing dishes from around the world. Really loved the “divorced tostadas” and the latin American brunch dish. Eggs cooked perfectly, the French toast was indulgent. And our kids tore it up. Highly recommend

I was shocked that the host came to our table and told us to leave because that table was reserved for a 12noon guest. That changed our overall view of our experience and we will not be returning.

Outstanding service and delicious tapas. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and able to inform us about the farm to table tapas. She told us what the farm to table foods were and even which farms they came from! Good price for the amount of food we got. I’ll definitely be back!

First time customers and won’t be our last visit. The food was outstanding. We especially loved the truffle potato skins and veggie empanadas. Our server was very professional. Food came out fast and fresh. The drinks were delicious as well…the honey mimosa was probably the best mimosa I’ve ever had.

The last time we visited, we were told it was a farm to table restaurant. This time our waiter called it a tapas menu. Risotto is not tapas. A huge bowl of potatoes with an egg on top is not tapas. Also, the random arrival of dishes doesn’t work well. The food tasted great and the firehouse theme is fun, but the dining experience was disjointed.

We went for a weekend brunch. There was great variety on the menu. Our server warned us "everything is served tapas style to encourage shared plates". This really means, any time an order is ready it is brought out. The advantage is that all of our food was hot, however, our meals came out at separate times.

I cannot say enough about our experience at Engine Company 3. From the get-go, our reservation was confirmed online and via phone the day before. Our waiter, Brett S was very congenial and extremely knowledgeable about the food. He knew exactly where everything was sourced and when we inquired about the chorizo (which was excellent by the way) he found out exactly where we could buy it from locally. My friend has celiac and cannot eat gluten and we informed the waiter. When we ordered a dish that had gluten (we just figured I'd eat it, not her), he noticed it right away and double-checked that we still wanted it and even offered a way to make it edible for her - which turned out great! Not to mention that everything we had was fantastic. Zero complaints.

This is a very good brunch spot, with the interesting twist of a small plates sharing opportunity I haven't experienced in the morning at other breakfasts. Although the restaurant was very busy on a Sunday morning, we were allowed to linger and chat long after we finished eating.

The menu has converted to more of a tapas style. A lot of the items seem similar to La Merenda. If you are in the mood for a tapas brunch which leans more toward breakfast items, and less toward lunch/dinner items, this place is great. Really good portion size for 'tapas'. I wish they had some salmon options, if they are going to lean breakfast.
