The Endgrain Restaurant in Chicago that had previously announced Òclosed until further noticeÓ, reopened back in 2015 after an almost nine-month haul. The restaurant was re-conceptualized as a simple bar. The place no longer served former owner/chef Enoch SimpsonÕs cocktails and doughnuts. The new menu mainly consisted of popular American snacks and comfort food. Endgrain is located on West Addison Street in Roscoe Village Chicago. There was news earlier this year that hinted at a possible takeover of Endgrain by Bangers & Lace; however, no opening dates were confirmed. The bar-styled restaurant served chicken fingers with three different sauce options. Also on the menu were steak brochettes and a variety of chicken wings. Popular items at the restaurant include fried ravioli and pint oÕ bacon.
