En Sushi Ratings and Reviews
We came here to celebrate my niece's 21st birthday. Really liked the atmosphere, the service efficient and very nice. The portions were plentiful, fresh and delicious. The bar looked inviting and had some people clearly here on dates. There was a TV where you could watch the ball game but it wasn't obtrusive. They even served my niece, the birthday girl, a delicious gooey chocolate cake a la mode for no additional charge.OA was a great experience. I would definitely come here again and I highly recommend it.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant and I will not visit again due to the fact that it serves Blue Fin tuna. Aren't the En Sushi chefs aware that this fish has been horrifically overfished and cannot possibly rebuild its population if we keep eating it this way? I think they are, but don't care. Too bad because the food was good and affordable. Get rid of the Blue Fin on your menu and I will return numerous times.
We really like En Sushi and come here regularly. This time however the service was not good and they forgot one of our plates and even brought the bill before they brought the dish. We had to explain that we were still missing a plate and we had already asked the server for it. However we all have bad days and we will continue coming here.
We go to En Sushi almost once a week. It's definitely one of my favorite happy hours. I love to sit at the bar because Damien makes perfect drinks and is a wonderful presence. The sushi is fresh and well prepared and very reasonably priced. We make it special occasion at times and just getting our sushi fix other times. Highly recommended!
Took over 30 min to order food. Waited after that. People who came after us had their food at least 10 min ahead of our party( there were 2 people in our party). Waited another 25 min to get food and was told by a server 'we are very busy'. So, we left without having any food.
Bad place and bad service.
It's a little too pricey during regular hours, but the late-night happy hour (starting at 9:30pm on Thursdays and Sundays) is amazing, and makes it totally worth the wait. The sushi is excellent. Service is fine. Parking can be tricky, but if you circle a few times, you'll find something. Spicy tuna on crispy rice, shrimp tempura hand roll, and all the sashimi dishes are all really fantastic.
Haven't been to En Sushi in awhile and realized they must be under new management. The restaurant looked the same inside but they have a new menu.We ordered dinners: Chicken teriyaki, Beef teriyaki and Grilled rib eye and spicy tuna roll. Got our drinks right away. After awhile the miso soup and salad came. I finally told the waitress to cancel our sushi since it never arrived. Then the entrees came. The beef dishes were on a sizzling platter and looked great. My daughter ate a potato and burned her mouth. The grilled rib eye was extremely overcooked-actually stuck to the metal platter to the point where you couldn't pull it away. The grilled eggplant skin was so tough. They didn't charge for the rib eye. Should have ordered sushi.
First I must say that I strongly dislike seafood. However, this night was not about me; this night was for my husband's birthday. He is a lover of sushi. We had vegetable tempura...which was good, but, I can't say that I would order it again. We also had something similar to chicken potstickers which was delicious! My husband ordered edamame...which is what it is. I ordered the beef teriyaki which was very flavorful, but was a bit fatty and made chewing some portions undesireable. My husband had a good selection of sushi. He had eel, spider rolls, california rolls, and tuna. Overall, he was very pleased with the freshness of the fish. However, he did note that the spider roll was a bit different than he is accustomed- it had sprouts.
They must have been short staffed - our service was quite slow and 3 items we ordered came out wrong. The "seared" tuna came out un-seared so we had to wait for the chef to prepare a new one, and a cucumber salad took 20 minutes to get to our table. One roll that specified "shrimp" inside, was actually shrimp tempura which I would not have ordered had I known. Food was tasty and fresh though, but don't think I will go back.
