Literally an Emporio, the restaurant will sell a superior selection of quality Italian provisions offering Italian and local cheesees, artisanal and house cured charcuterie, raw bar, fritti, wood-fired pizzas, home made pastas and traditional Roman entrees. The menu concept is far ranging and flexible, allowing clients to design a meal suitable for their palette and their price point. In addition to traditional dining service, other options include a glass of wine with antipasti, a family style meal at a communal table or a pizza and prosecco break. Emporio, which means “local grocery store” in Italian is offering authentic Roman cuisine with an international flair.

Sitting outside for lunch, a warmer beautiful day in Feb was great. All the food we samples was very good, and you could eat healthy here if you must but the Pizza and Calamari also looked very good on the other table!
The service was okay, nothing special or great but nothing terrible. The food was just awful. Too salty to even eat
The ambience and the attentions were just amazing. Great spot for having a date.
It was amazing - love the service and food. Every dish is great. Plus, they always have great music (very underrated). Good ambiance - love the back room sun and the front bar.
Always a lovely experience. The food is fantastic and the service is wonderful! A+
Great food and great service! Was very warm for outdoor dining :) highly recommend
Incredible! Would absolutely dine there again. I recommend requesting to be seated in the back dining room where the sunroof is. Great ambiance.
This is the best place in lower Manhattan. Done.
Great food and service!
Emporio is a quaint restaurant with a welcoming and homey feel. The staff is super friendly and their outdoor seating is great if you want to catch views of the bustling city. The food was really good, especially their fluffy French toast and warm italian breakfast tea.
I love that they've gone electronic for payments as it is crucial these days with everything going on. I'd definitely go back and hopefully soon.
Great food - great outdoor setting on a charming street
It was fine. would eat again there again, just not running to go back. The apps were ok, the rigatoni was good
It was wonderful Saturday night dinner for two. Highly recommend the ravioli and anything with prosciutto.
Emporio is always great! We went for late brunch on a Saturday and while there seemed to be a short wait for outdoor tables (it was a beautiful fall day), we had our pick of tables indoors - very well socially distanced from other diners. The food was excellent as always - I had the burrata pizza on gluten free crust (I’m not gf but I actually like their gf crust better than regular - it’s so good! Try it!) and my husband had the Apple French toast with a side order of bacon. He raves about it which is saying a lot, as he’s not a big eater. Service was attentive and polite. We trekked all the way down from the UES and will continue to do so regularly.
Everyone is always so on point at Emporio. Every time we dine we have an amazing experience and try different dishes and pizzas- all delicious.

Love the food, service, drinks, ambience! Everything is great without being pretentious!
Emporio is our go-to neighborhood restaurant.
The best food, service, and atmosphere! Love everything about Emporio! 10/10 would recommend
This is one of my favorite restaurants in NYC. Currently seating is outside, but there is a perfect area for it right outside of the restaurant and a little blocked off area on the street. The burrata pizza is my absolute favorite. I know very few restaurants that do this, so I come to Emporio to treat myself. The wines are all exceptional and I get something new each time and always love it. Cacio e Pepe is also amazing, and you really can't go wrong with anything on this menu. Highly recommend for any occasion.
Amazing dinner as usual. Emporio doesn’t disappoint!
Great ambiance, friendly staff & even better tiramisu and espresso martinis!
The meal was excellent as always. However, we were seated in the front room where the conversation volume bordered on deafening.
Staff was really sweet and accomodating
Amazing warm and friendly vibes. Food was really good too especially the burrata pizza.
There is a warm feel to the place that appealed to me. My server was helpful but he was running hard keeping up with a lot of tables. I ordered only the squid pasta with seafood that was delicious, as was the bread and olive oil. My only complaint were that the tables are so close together you must ask the adjoining table to move to get out.
Best Kale and Brussel Sprouts salad in town. The skylight in the back room is perfect for sunny lunches/brunches. Overall the food is superb and the kitchen staff extremely accommodating for unusual requests. For us it is a goto place in the neighborhood.
Phenomenally tasty, homey, and fundamentally enjoyable food. Easy recommendation to anybody wanting rustic italian.
Emporio has to be some of the best Italian in the city. The corn meal pizza crust is to die for. 5 stars all around.
I love Emporio. Every time I go, it is with the intent to ball out and spend lots. Despite this tradition, their front of house continually elects to stick myself and company at a table too small for our dinning experience. It happens constantly. The song and dance is the same, the wait staff scrambles to make room and has at times hinted that we order less. Its silly, but an issue I understand is likely limited only to myself
We have been dining here for years. The food is always excellent. The menu is creative. The wines are fine. The service is excellent. The front room is cozy with the bar there. The larger back room is also great. Sometimes the pasta can be a bit drowned in sauce, although I had an excellent (not gloppy) carbonara a day ago.
We had an amazing time!
Starting with the kale, brussels sprouts salad with pistachio pesto and a Burrata Pizza... Came really fast and we devoured both (DELICIOUS!)!
Than my dinner was from the kids menu since I'm vegetarian and just really wanted a plain pasta with red sauce... They were really accommodated about it ans no judgment on the kids choice =D
For Dessert we had a typical Tiramisu, a HUGE piece... we eat it all! (has sooooo good!)
Thank you for the wonderful time and dinner!
Was amazing
Delicious food and great service! Emporio is cozy and warm. A great place to meet a friend or a colleague for lunch.
Nice and easy and the chicken salad was good, i wish the portion to go was a little bigger
We have been many times, have brought many friends & everyone loves. Great staff, food is delicious. Wonderful neighborhood find that I would go out of my way for.
My reservation was not entered as our having attended. There was an issue with my entree not having been entered. They did finally deliver my entree and kindly didn’t charge us for that.
We are regulars at Emporio. This was unusual - an off night. Usually it is a 5 star experience on all levels.
Good food, courteous and effective service, was a bit loud for my taste.
Emporio is always solid
The food at Emporio is absolutely excellent. I love the atmosphere and the food tastes so authentic . It is a must that I go here when I visit nyc.
