Food and service was Amazing!
Best atmosphere, prices! Unless you are having sushi, there’s not a variety of choices of other foods! Quite disappointing for such a big restaurant! Menu is very limited! No Kung pao, general gao’s chicken, sweet and sour chicken, just a bunch of noodles and rice with sea food and one beef dish😒😒
Excellent. We would like to host an early bird birthday party on or around. April 10 and would like ideas about how to do this easily for around 15 ladies. Thanks!
Food was amazing! Atmosphere was fun. After dinner it flowed into a great place to continue the night.
Food was little on the expensive side, I ordered a dish that I thought it would come with the steak on the side, it came very little pieces mixed in it o think it was “steak kimchi” not worth it what I paid for just few pieces of meat
Great place to go with friends for sushi and cocktails
This restaurant is great! I’ve been here before and the food and waiters are amazing!! The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars was I made a reservation and got there a few minutes early and was made to wait over 10 minutes for my table. Which would have been fine if I hadn’t made a reservation because we had to get to a show after. Other than that the service was excellent!
Empire is consistently one of my favorite spots in seaport. I love the ambience/vibe. The cocktails are great, and the food never disappoints. I really value consistency, and they provide a consistent positive experience. We did unlimited sushi-- a special on wednesday nights only, and it was a lot of fun! 10 out of 10 will come back (I have a reservation already!)
This is an excellent restaurant. Fine food, beautifully presented by furst rate staff
Empire has superior food in a great area and love the ambiance except when the thumping music comes on. We avoid the crowds later in evening. We had a business meeting and it all went well but it was a little loud.
Live close to Empire and have been meaning to try it for about a year. We were a party of three for dinner. First impression is cool space with open kitchen. I felt like it was a letdown from there. Wine list by the glass was poor and overpriced. Service was not terrible, but waited extended periods of time for visits by the server. We got some sushi rolls and dumplings to start. Rolls were good, but nothing special for the price. Dumplings were a disappointment. I see they make them fresh, but they ruin them by over frying. A waste of a fresh made dumpling.
Service was very slow. Disappointed since my last visit—service and quality of the food.
Great place with great food. Looks awesome. You would love it.
The most amazing ambiance, servers (Phoenix & Leroy), and the most delicious Filet & Halibut we have ever had! Thank you!
Kelly & Sheila
Good place for dinner with kids as it is big. Dinner was tasty with huge portions.
Great meal. Portions are LARGE. Our server, David, was fantastic. Will definitely be back again soon.
We had a lovely meal at Empire. Our server (and his trainee) were happy to explain anything on the menu. Although, once we ordered it was harder to get their attention. We enjoyed our food and the portions were larger than we had expected. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. However, the menu is printed in 8pt font and the lighting is EXTREMELY DIM. I had to use the flashlight on my phone to be able to read the menu. This was equally frustrating when the food came. It was hard to see what exactly we were eating.
I would go back - maybe during daylight hours instead.
Our go-to restaurant after an evening out! Food is always consistent. Service is top notch.
Our waiter Thomas was very good at his job, attentive but not over the top as well as kind and had great recommendations. This was a birthday dinner celebration and it was awesome. Two of our guests showed up quite late, almost an hour late due to arriving at an incorrect restaurant and they never rushed us or showed any upset for this issue. The food was amazing as always and drinks were quite good as well albeit a bit sugary but, hey, it was a celebration! The place is noisy but that is to be expected it has a live DJ and is a type of lounge/club as well.
Amazing dinner. Victoria was our server.. she was so helpful and friendly. Really .. everyone we encountered was so nice. The rooms are slick and sleek looking. Really cool spot .
The food wasn’t as good as I thought it would be especially for the pricing, rather have spent that at Mastros, Ocean Prime or Strega.
We love Empire. Great drinks great food.
I loved the environment and the food was delicious
Expensive because it’s in the seaport but a beautiful restaurant and the cocktails were awesome!
The place was lovely however not enough light at our table to read menu. Food was very tasty and elegantly presented. Our server was wonderful and had great recommendations.
My only recommendation next visit will be to be in a booth or separate table. We were right on top of both tables next to us and it was difficult to have a conversation with my husband.
First time going there. And for Valentine’s Day. Everything was amazing and quick! Our server (unfortunately didn’t get his name) was amazing and very helpful with all the questions I asked. He definitely made the experience great. Would definitely go back again
The food was over-portioned and over-priced. There were so many things on the menu that we (two of us) were interested in but couldn't order because the main entree portion sizes were HUGE. On the flip side, the portion of the appetizers were small-normal. Very inconsistent, but given that the main entree portion sizes were so large, they should really advise you to have at least a party of four if you want to eat at this restaurant. The food experience was kind of a shame-- we had a small appetizer (the surf and turf) and then for most of dinner the two of us were stuck trying to finish a pretty mediocre bowl of noodles that was meant for 4 people. The noodles weren't actually that bad, I'm sure if we had a normal portion size it would have seemed good actually.
The service was horrible when we first entered- we got to the check-in stand and another party also arrived just behind us. There were four people at the check-in stand chatting with each other and looking here and there, but not at my party or the party behind us. We waited for at least a couple of minutes and then I finally had to loudly say "Hello!" and sort of put myself in their faces before they even looked our direction. Pretty rude. The service at the bar was good and the service at dinner was great. We really appreciated our waiter, who had great timing, was attentive, friendly, and provided genuine suggestions/advice regarding the menu.
Food was good. Service was disappointing. Enjoyed the Singapore Noodles the most. Very large bar area would be good place to go for a drink and a snack in the Seaport.
This place is amazing. Try their Mai Tai's! The Cambodian Rice is to die for as is the Short Rib Mooshoo! The place turns into a crazy night club on Fri/Sat night so if that's not for you, go early. Great food, drinks and service.
Portions of food were large. Even with the semi-expensive prices the meal was well worth it. Very cool vibe to the place and would definitely come back.
Amazing service and food !
Very pleased with our experience overall. The place was a little loud and the tables were very tight but the food and the service were great! I would suggest ordering in stages since the food comes out very quickly. We ordered several dishes to share and it all arrived at once and there was no place to put it all. There were a couple of things we ordered that we would not order again (salt and pepper chicken wings) and several that were delicious (spicy tuna roll, general gau’s chicken, Pot stickers, pad Thai). We’d eat here again!
The staff and waitresses were helpful and friendly! They seamlessly accommodated all 18 of us. All my guessed loved the space and plan to come back again. The food was great too.
The all you can eat sushi was wonderful. The service was friendly and helpful. And, as a breast-feeding mom, no one cared that I needed to privately sit in a corner and nurse my newborn. That is worth 10 stars from me. No one made me feel uncomfortable or out of place because I wanted to have dinner with my girlfriends but I needed to bring my baby with me.
We had a great meal with great service! Thank you!
There were alot of items on the menu that appealed to me and my wife so we decided to come here Saturday night. We ordered chicken dumplings, and scallion pancakes for appetizers. Lack flavor and seasoning. What saved the pancakes were the sauces that accompanied them. Those were delicious, but the pancake itself was bland at best. For entree I ordered the Galangal Duck. That was a phenomenal dish. The duck was properly cooked, full of flavor, and the sided of purple sweet potatoes and the taro root were packed with flavor. The varying textures of all combined added to the enjoyment of this dish. My wife ordered the pineapple fried rice, and as the other items, lacked seasoning. Properly cooked, but flavor was just not there. For dessert we share the chocolate macadamia tart, and that was just ok, although the rasberry sorbet was pretty good. Service was good for such a busy place. Place was super clean. We may go back to this place, but we may not.
Despite the super slow service we enjoyed our dinner. Looks that the staff needs to work on the speed.
