Emory's on Silver Lake
Emory's is a wonderful restaurant with a lodge atmosphere. Located on Silver Lake in Everett it captures the lovely lake views in the windows and patio dining. The food is exceptional. We have eaten there at least 10 times over the past few years and have never been disappointed in the quality of the food. Every entree we have tasted is delicious and served hot and presented in an appealing manner. The wait staff are excellent and attentive. We will certainly return to Emory's in the near future.
It was my birthday our server Mark was great and our steaks and chicken were cooked perfectly the only recommendation is we did not like our stirfry vegetables it was mostly Snow peas only, but other than that it was fabulous food.. also we would’ve appreciated a candle in our mud pie.. it was impossible to sing happy birthday without our candle that was a disappointment to us... A wonderful touch was the photographer who took our photo always so appreciated it ! nice touch
Terese was an amazing server with such a great personality! This was our first time here and we really enjoyed our visit. Food was super yummy!!! Cannot wait to come back.
Good food. Super slow service. Had to ask waiter for refills and things that are normally brought without asking. Waiter would pass by without checking in, and when I did catch his eye, said he’d be right with me walking away.
20 minutes went by between sitting, ordering drinks, and getting drinks. Another 25 minutes to get appetizers and about 40 minutes after that to get entrees. Sat a final 25 minutes waiting for the check after everyone had finished eating.
Have eaten there several times and this was a first. Hopefully not a trend
I’ve been going here for years and I’m never disappointed. The food is really great and the wait staff very friendly. Parking is however not the best.
We were seated immediately, for our reservation. Each employee we spoke with was courteous. Our server knew the menu well. Everyone was very attentive. The food was excellent. The view of the lake was beautiful. I would Definately dine at Emory's again and recommend them to anyone.
Everything was wonderful EXCEPT for my husband's $40 steak. It was 1/2 FAT... really poor cut of meat. But the manager didn't charge us for the steak, gave us free dessert and free appetizers. So, though my husband left without eating his meat, we still enjoyed a good meal for your 26th Anniversary. Nice place. The parking lot is pretty crowded, though. We have a big truck, it was challenging to squeeze into tiny spots.
Nice outdoor seating with a view of the lake. Limited beer selection and my chicken was tough. My wife enjoyed her fish. Parking is tight. Over all pricey but worth going to for a special occasion.
Holly was great. Thanks for a great Friday noght out with the family.
I would recommend it to a friend looking for a casual drink and/or pizza or appetizers. But it’s not a fine dining restaurant for a special event. The halibut was good but it wasn’t worth $35. Service was poor if your expectations are that of an upscale restaurant. My Martini (straight up) was warm and arrived at the same time as my meal. View was wonderful and I will try it again.
The food was great (as usual) and the service was outstanding. Our server coordinated with the chef to prepare one of her favorite dishes (that was not listed on the menu that night). She also guided us to an alternative wine when the wine we ordered was not available. The host found us a booth further away from the noisier area, which was much appreciated since my wife is hearing impaired. Having two separate music soundtracks playing simultaneously does tend to detract from the overall ambiance, but I guess it is not unreasonable since it is, after all, a Bistro and the younger folks don't seem bothered by it.
Love the look and feel of this restaurant on Silver Lake. The food was great (if a bit pricy) and the portions were huge! Servers were friendly and prompt. Dessert was a bit slow in coming; but we weren't in any hurry.
Food is always amazing. We brought a out of town guest along for dinner and the band on Saturday night was HORRIBLE. Luckily he still enjoyed the food but we were forced to rush our selves eating due to The lady singing was ear piercing bad. We will always be sure to check your band schedule from now on. Groove Kitchen is the worst.
Yes I will recommend it , the food is absolutely good but the service was really slow and really poor , but the bill came up really fast ,we felt rushed out of there, our dinner reservation was at 5:30 and we didn't get out of there until quarter to nine, we had to ask for bread and butter half an hour after we sit down I hope that this will help with the service because it's a great restaurant
We’ve lived in Everett since 2001 and drove past Emory’s often. It was our anniversary and decided to try Emory’s for the first time. The wait staff was extremely kind and helpful, the ribeye steak was cooked to perfection and was absolutely delicious. I will recommend them to everyone and now I have a new favorite restaurant.
Consistently bad service. Slowwwww. Forgets things that were ever ordered. I’ve tried multiple times. I give up on this place.
My service rating may not actually be accurate because they were absolutely slammed for a Monday night, as part of a fundraiser for a local choir, but it was still pretty good. The food was amazing, though.
Becca was courteous and friendly. The views from the deck were just perfect. Great menu, too. The food was tastier and more generous than expected. That’s saying something considering how popular Emory’s has gotten to be.
Good place to dine with good view, yet very over priced.
The staff always smiled. Service was prompt but not rushed. They provided a free photograph of us and dessert for our 42nd anniversary.
Loved our time at Emory's! Thanks for helping make our friend's birthday so special. She loves mint so the Mudpie was perfect for her birthday dessert! And so yummy! Everyone loved their entrees. My only feedback is that the brussel sprouts with my entree were a bit undercooked and I would have loved a bit more flavor. But overall it was a wonderful evening at Emory's. Thanks so much!
Good food, good service. Would recommend for a bite and happy hour.
Excellent food and outstanding service in witha great view of the lake. We celebrated our 44th anniversary and were surprised with a complementary photo. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended!
Birthday celebration it was super nice great food beautiful lake view.
I don't remember it being so loud. I couldn't hear myself think let alone hear my husband or the other people at my table talk. But other than that everything was great. The food was great the service was the best I was fine with everything.
The heated deck by the lake was lovely. Food was good as was service. My group of post opera ladies really enjoyed it. Good wine list as well.
The perfect date night. Great ambiance (live music, sunset on the water, beautiful decor) and delicious food. Appetizer was a little pricey. We’ll be back.
Very good. Going again soon.
Excellent food and service. The Alaskan Cod is to die for!!
Emory's is a funny place--it's prices are bordering on fancy, but the food isn't fancy, it's just good enough, as is everything else about the place. Within 10 miles of this location though, this is a pretty good bet, and sometimes that's enough.
Everything was wonderful except the noise lever was pretty loud. The live music began at 6 PM and was quite loud. Dinner was delicious, the server was great - limited parking space though.
The clam chowder was on the salty side but I would definitely come back again. Crab cakes made with fresh crab! Wagu beef was yum..
A little expensive and parking is always full so must use valet, but service is outstanding and food is delicious
Great outdoor seating and 50% glasses of wine
We ate outside and had a lovely dinner with 7 people. We all liked our food and drinks. Service was realky good. Deck was a great setting. The only negative is that the birthday guy's dessert was not complimentary. Will go back!
Hard to get hot baked potato. Mine appeared to have been “used”. Very little potato except the sides; it was filled with butter and sour cream to disguise it, and because it wasn’t hot, it congealed.
Music is almost always good and we love the service.
We had reservations, but didn't need them in the bar where the band plays. GREAT service, and the food was really good. Clam chowder was ALMOST as good as mom's - was missing bacon pieces... And the spinach salad was good, too. Otherwise, we had fun. Thanks for a good night!
Great food, service at a beautiful setting!
A good meal shared with great friends. The only draw back is the lack of parking but there is valet. Servers are all excellent.
Perfect happy hour out on the sun deck! The blood orange cider and the Ahi Poke stack appetizer made a magical afternoon with my hubby. Great service too! Thanks
