Emma's Cafe And Restaurant - PA
Everyone raved about the food and we will all return!
Been several times. Delicious food. Attentive service by pleasant waitstaff. A quality dining experience. Reasonably priced - the $25 3-course weekday meal is an outstanding value. Highly recommended! It's a great place to eat!
Had a wonderful dining experience and look forward to returning again soon.
We have been to Emma's cafe about 6 or 7 times. My wife and I have dined here alone and with others. I brought my children, their spouses, and my six year old grand daughter there for the first time. Everyone enjoyed their apps very much. We ordered 3 for the table and it was plenty. Likewise, entrees were very well prepared. The chicken and eggplant, the seafood with blush sauce, and the chicken parm were the favorites. The only disappointing meal were the spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were not their usual quality. Almost seemed store bought.
Great food, service and ambiance!!!! The food was absolutely fresh and delicious. Highly recommend the gnocchi and steak tips.
The service was slow with water and bread, soda refills and 15 mins for a cup of coffee is too long. But, the food was served hot and very good. I will go back again for the food and hope that the service improves.
We love Emma's, its a great neighborhood go to for a good dinner.
I made a reservation through you and they did not have it. When I told them that I did it on line she said she never checked her online reservations. Also it was restaurant week from March 25th to March 31st. and they were listed but would not honor it on a Friday night. Was not stated anywhere.
Emma’s Cafe always has delicious fresh food, desserts, and coffee right in the heart of Mayfair and BYOB makes it a nice night out.
Have been there several times, food is very good will not be sorry, great value, very consistant
We love Emma’s! It’s our favorite restaurant! We always have a delicious meal!
I have been to Emmas Cafe and restaurant at least a dozen times. Their specials have always been what
I look forward to. This trip wasn't any different. I opted for the veal ossa bucca!!! Well, I wasn't disappointed. It was excellent as everything I've had there. Of course, we'll be back again!!
Great service excellent food! I would definitely recommend trying this restaurant if you like Italian food.
The food is so fresh and delicious. From the appetizers to dessert, everything was amazing!!!
Shrimp appetizer w good sized shrimp, ceasar salad should not have had cucumbers. Entrée of gorgonzola gnocchi was Amazing..plenty of sauce to coat every single light, flavorful and abundant lil gnocchi's. Lobster ravioli was a nice balance of sauce and pasta with 2 shrimp in center. Veal was perfectly cooked and the sauce was tasty...almost wanted more bread to wipe my plate for every drop. The fillet tips portion size was suitable, 4 pieces properly cooked, not dry or overdone with gorgonzola and gnocchi but no sauce. Eggplant parmigiana appetizer was ok slices were thick and not well breaded. Love the BYOB. Wait staff were attentive, water glasses were filled before completely empty. Dessert - chocolate mouse was decadent and delicious
Went there with friends and we were all pleased. It is apparent that they cook to order as it took some time for our meals to arrive. They were hot and had not been microwaved. This is just a small neighborhood place nothing fancy. Average entrée is about $20.00 but it is a BYOB.
I have dined at Emma’s several times and have always had a wonderful experience. The staff is friendly, service is great and the food is delicious!!
Wonderful as always! Our go-to BYOB spot! Service was excellent!
This is a great restaurant ! Authentic Italian food. Lobster ravioli was excellent. Pasta fagioli was the best I’ve ever had. Same for the Tiramisu.
Service is slow especially when opening wine. Maybe having a manager assist would be advised.
I have been going to EMMA's now for 6-7 years. Love the staff and the cook Hassan, he open for a funeral lunch for my family. I always recommend this place.
The best $25.00 price fix around. Appetizer, main course and dessert. Plus it's a byob. I had clams in white wine, pasta with shrimp and scallops and homemade Tiramisu.
Service was horrible were there for three hours. Servicers Stood around all night with us having dirty plates on our table. Who took him is two hours to get
We were not impressed. The food was mediocre and pricey. Service was very slow, which would have been fine if the dishes were tasty enough to linger over.
The service was very poor and slow. Our server was standing around doing nothing. We waited at least 45 minutes for our appetizers. Dinner was another long wait. However, when the food did finally come it was very hot and delicious. I would go back strictly for the food but I would not come so hungry next time due to the long wait.
Really a gem! Very good food and BYOB! Place has been around for a while. Fresh food and good service.
I would never expect to find this delicious food in a cute, cozy restaurant at Frankford and Cottmann! It was hard to find because it is tucked away and not a big store front. Everyone is very nice and accommodating. The food was delicious. My only reason for 4 stars is for the waiting time it took to cook. Now of course that means its freshly made just for you and I didn't mind having time to talk with my friends, but I was really hungry and it was getting late.
ate at emma's on several occasions and as always the food ,atmosphere and service was exceptoinal
Food is overrated. Tiramisu was the most enjoyable part of the meal.
Good solid food at very good prices with plenty of options and a nice young wait staff
Great food, reasonably priced
Wonderful neighborhood gem.
Very good, the portions has gotten smaller. Certain dishes has changed and don't come with items as before.
It was a very nice restaurant. It’s a byob which is awesome. Food, atmosphere and service was great
Very reasonable prices for excellent quality.
Everyone's dinner was excellent. Appetizers were delicious...clams white great. Filet Special was perfect.
My wife an I have dinner at Emma's at least once or twice every month. The food is always incredible. The salads are freshly made and very large, and the entrees are expertly prepared. One main reason for our loyalty is that Emma's has the best Bronzino entree (Mediterranean Sea Bass) anywhere in Philadelphia. This restaurant is definitely a "neighborhood gem".
Local neighborhood restaurant. Limited menu but everything is fresh and delicious. Portions are generous. Appetizer/entree and dessert for one price can't be beat.
The only thing I can say negative was when we arrived we were only the second table with anyone at. By the time we left most of the tables were occupied but there was only one waitress but she handled it without a problem even though by then the service was a little slow. There were at least 3 people in the back who should have come out to help a little
Great food and service . Waiter was very attentive and friendly.
