The service and the food was excellent, our table was next to the window so we could look out over the beach, our waitress was excellent and friendly. Highly recommend Emily's
We waiting an hour for our food, and the hash browns weren’t cooked, biscuit were burnt, and the eggs Benedict had about a tablespoon of holindaise sauce at most. Never got out coffee refilled, I finally just got our own coffee. We’ve been for dinner there and it was great. Idk what the problem was but it wasn’t busy.
Service was excellent. Pretty decent prices for the size of the servings (huge). Margaritas tasted great, but minimal tequila.
Reception said casino card will get you a 10% discount in the restaurant, so don't forget to tell your server if you have one.
Good food, great service from a very friendly waitress. Good table with a nice view.
Great food and service!
My fish this time was a little tough but tasted wonderful. Barb said her prime rib was a little tough too. This is the first time we have not been given a birthday dessert.
Only two minor issues. One was not offered fresh ground pepper with our salad! And the staff in moving about the room kept announcing when they were rounding a blind corner to keep from running into each other. Found the announcement "Corner" every few minutes added to the noise level.
We went in the off season. The food in general was over salted. I had room service one evening, the clams - obviously frozen, tough and couldn't eat them. Tarter sauce was rancid. The mashed potatoes were excellent as was the fresh carrots. I had several salads that were exceptionally good. During off season the chef should think about purchasing smaller quantities of sauces or making small batches of fresh. I would eat there again.
Crabcakes were the BESTEST ever, prices were reasonable.
We felt the food was over priced for what you get. Prime rib was tough and mashed potatoes were quite lumpy. We ate there 2 nights and the 2nd night was a little better but be prepared to wait some time for your food. We waited 14 mins for the server to ask what we would like to drink, then another 17 minutes to get our salads. We have eaten at many restaurants in this price range and have never had to wait like that or served food that was poorly prepare. It was really disappointing. Over $100 for 2 entrees, 2 salads and 2 glasses of wine. We expected better food and service 😕
Overall the meal was great but confusion on the credit that we received. Gave a 20 to cover what the credit didn't and also tip and learned after words it would be taken care of when we check out. Server kepted the 20.00 it never was given back . Just need those cards that are given out to be explained more in detail or told before meal .But I always look forward to the food and the people.
Really slow service but food was good. Our waitress was horrible. So it was a good thing the food was good
Service was just ok and food was not good for the price. Only thing I enjoyed was the view
They were under staffed and the food took an hr, but they warned us at first and we were not in a hurry...Potatoes dry
Dinner was a comp from room reservation. Food was good service ok.
For the price of our meal I expected much better. The garlic mashed were clumpy and dry. The steak was eatable, but not what I expected. The staff was not attentive, the waiter that brings water and bread looked like he hated his life and said nothing. There was multiple tables that were very loud and distracting, when my wife and I chose the restaurant to have a nice quiet romantic meal. We did not have any of those and paid $90. Wont do it again.
Great food ! But ate way too much ! Had a great time while at Quinault , great weather !
Food was good.. my husband steak was overcooked but my crab salad had tons of crab in it. We like to eat here whenever we're out at Ocean Shores the service is a little iffy but the food is always good in the atmosphere is beautiful
I placed the reservation online from the tablet in my room for two people. We ran behind in time so I wanted to change my reservation by 15 minutes so I called. The woman that answered the phone went on to overly explain why they were trying to get rid of the option for less than five people to make a reservation. I explained to her that I had already made a reservation for 10:15 AM online so would I not be accommodated was my question. Her answer to me was well if you’re coming about 1030 people should be done eating in you’ll probably get a table. I just said OK and showed up about 10:40 AM that’s when I was informed that there was at least an hour wait. I told her I had a reservation and she said OK let me take a look and she came right back and did seat us right away which was good. To my disappointment the restaurant was disorganized, and dirty. There was food under neighboring tables and the place smelled like a fast food restaurant. Once we received our food I was disappointed again because the menu didn’t describe that there was hashbrowns on the meal my husband ordered so we ordered an all a cart hash brown which the waitress didn’t tell us either that there was already one with the meal. And then all three hashbrowns were so greasy I could not eat it and neither could my husband. For the price we paid per night at this resort Emilys Will get two thumbs down even if it were at the mall food court let alone at an expensive resort
I wanted some razor clams. They had razor clams. They were good and the Space Dust IPA from the bar was good too. The casino club card offered a $3.00 off special. We had a view of the Ocean at sunset, well the fog rolled in but I'm sure it was there. :-)
The best NY-steak I’ve had in a long time, perfectly medium rare from side to side. Well marbled without too much fat. You could tell it had been a busy evening and we still got good service.
Jason, as usual, was attentive, polite, helpful and cheerful. He is one of the pleasures we find at the Q.
The food was plentiful, well prepared and tasty.
Our entrees (scallops and beef medallions) were very good. Garlic mashed potatoes were served in a big round ball and didn't have a lot of flavor. The salad was uninspired, although the bleu cheese dressing was good. Our server seemed to want us to order, eat, and leave. She didn't even ask if we wanted something to drink and seemed a little put out when we asked to see a list of tap beers. We got the distinct impression that this restaurant does not employ enough staff. People were being told that there was a wait of an hour and a half, yet half the place was empty.
Only said yes as not much choice in Ocean Shores. The boy filling the water glasses for the friendliest, ice tea is instant so it was gross, food was average for a high price.
Flavors were great. The Ahi appetizer was cooked perfectly and the seasoning was great. We had the cold smoked salmon which was wonderful. It was a really nice food experience.
Seated at reservation time...waited 15 minutes before waitress took our order...I ordered steamer clams as an appetizer....when the clams came out, I noticed there were about 3 clams not opened...I asked the waitress if she can get the chef to cook up 3 extras...she brought the clams out and they were opened...I took the clam out of the shell and proceed to eat it...I had to spit it out...the clam was rancid...I got physically sick..the inside of the clam was all black...the waitress told us the cook took the original clams and pried it open...you can't do that...if the clams don't open up when cooking, that means there is something wrong with the clams...I was sick and nauseated all night and into the next day...
Took Quite awhile to get food but the food was outstanding. Just took a long time
Best of Ocean Shores. Great view, excellent food at Emilys both dinner and breakfast.
Always very good. Excellent razor clams and lobster tails. would be nice to see something new on the regular menu.
The waitress didn't take our order for about 15 minutes....waited another 15 minutes before we got our appetizers, soup and salad...about 30 minutes before we got our main meal...the same thing happened the next morning for breakfast....they need more waitresses and cooks working....we were there last month for Mother's Day, we waited much longer then...excellent food but service is bad...
Wish there were more places to eat in the casino. Food was terrible. They claim they were voted best restaurant. After talking to some locals, the food used to be really good about 10 years ago maybe that when the got that award. Say clear of this place and take the 5 minute drive into town and eat at ocean beach roasters and bistro. The food is amazing!
We try to visit a few times each year. Last year the bread basket was amazing. This trip it was not so amazing. We were looking forward to the “pie crust bread”, it was not the same this visit. Dinner entrees were very good.
We had a beautiful view of the ocean. It would have been nicer if the interior windows would have been cleaner.
Awesome dinner great view and friendly staff... And the best chocolate dessert .. Steak was great and the rest of my party loved the two lobsters dinner.. Great environment .. Best dinner I have had out in a while
Love Emily’s and eat here often. Something great on the menu for any meal. The New York steak breakfast is a standout. So is the prime rib, the lamb and the planked salmon. Full bar available. Friendly help. One of the few restaurants in the area that takes reservations (AND Open Table).
Great food....great service. Nice view and friendly service/waitress. Always love this place when we come!!
Excellent lobster! Loved our anniversary dinner, polished off with delicious cheesecake and champagne. Outstanding, attentive service, gorgeous view, perfect experience.
The food menu had a good selection and was tasty with ample portions. The service was friendly but not on the professional side.
The food and service was amazing! Just make sure to make an reservation.
Our meal was delicious and our service was spot on. We had a lovely dinner!
We had a reservation for our anniversary. We we're at at a table with no sun shade so both of us were extremely warm. Our server didn't come over for about ten minutes. When she finally did she didn't even ask us what to drink just asked what we wanted for food. She was rude and short and made us eat as fast as we could and we didn't enjoy our anniversary dinner.
