Emeril's Orlando encompasses everything that Emeril stands for - high energy, bold exciting flavors & a memorable experience. Chef Emeril Lagasse's fifth restaurant, Emeril's Restaurant Orlando, is a fitting addition to the line-up at Universal CityWalk. Upon entering the restaurant your eyes take you on a ride up the metal staircase, across the Gertjejansen artwork, down the wall of wine, over the Ochsner portrait & stopping for a moment at the food bar. By this time the staff greets you with the warmth of a welcome home. A drink at the bar, maybe a classic New Orleans cocktail to start & then you are seated. The dining room bustles with energy with a view of the chef & the brilliance in the kitchen. Although walk-ins can be accommodated, reservations are highly recommended. Our dress policy is casual, but no sleeveless shirts for gentleman & boys.

Enjoyed our family dinner. We had a couple of steak specials and the salmon. Everything was very good and cooked exactly how we asked for it. The Mac n Cheese was very good. We loved the noodles in this dish. Recommend for a nice meal convenient to Universal.

We came for our first time ever for Valentine's Day. My husband had the tenderloin and lobster bisque. I had barbecued Salmon and barbecued shrimp. (I had to order a second shrimp because they were so delicious). The biscuits are like red lobster biscuits on crack! Delicious! Everything was wonderful!

I was trying to plan a nice restaurant to go to for my girlfriend and I on Valentine's Day. As I was reading reviews of different restaurants it was hard to find a fine dining restaurant that had more than four stars. Emeril's has always been a restaurant that I have wanted to try but was discouraged when I saw a few websites gave it lower reviews. On our evening dining in the restaurant we arrived at 750 with a reservation for 8 p.m. we were immediately seated. After looking over the menu I decided to get the beef tenderloin and my girlfriend got the scallops. Both were absolutely amazing the beef was so tender that I didn't even need to cut it with a knife in the scallops had so much flavor. Our waiters Chris and Sean where outstanding. I would also like to note that the management team did a great job of checking on every table and constantly coming by to see if we needed anything or to take anything off the table for us drinks never made it below half full before being offered a refill or more water. Overall it was a great experience and I recommend it to anybody looking for a more sophisticated dinner in CityWalk. Even if you are looking for something around Orlando I would say it rates very high against the rest of the high-end dining locations around the city.

Service was 5 star--Mario and Allen were great. Appetizer was mushrooms and pasta; we could have made a meal of that alone. My wife's snapper was a little dry,but my scallops we were excellent.

Service was exceptional. Nice, extensive wine list but a bit pricey (3x). My braised short rib special was ample in quantity, tender and nicely done. The accompanying Brussels sprouts were very good ( not bitter at all) and the diced sweet potatoes while good was a rather small portion. My wife had the salmon, also am ample portion, which was perfectly done with a smoky barbecue flavor through the fish. Unfortunately, the fish was swimming in a very sweet, barbecue sauce. Once that was removed, the fish was very good.

(This was my girlfriends first visit.) Every thing was superb. The food was excellent. The attentiveness of the servers was great. Definitely will return at a later date.

I have two pieces of feedback. One for Open Table and one for Emeril’s.
We ordered the bbq shrimp appetizer per our servers recommendation and while the sauce was wonderful the shrimp were horribly over cooked. Not to what I would imagine is Chef Emeril’s standard. Sadly reminded me I was in a theme park location.
For Open Table or whoever creates the profiles for each restaurant:
If there are reservations at 6pm or so the patrons should be warned that there is a parking fee of $20 until 6pm for Universal CityWalk. So I spent an extra $20 for 30 minutes of parking when u arrived half an hour before my 6pm reservation. It takes all 30 minutes to park and walk to the restaurant within Universal CityWalk. If I knew this in advance I would’ve made a later reservation time.

Had BBQ Salmon, potato hash with andouille sausage with crispy onions on top. tasted like bottled BBQ sauce was placed on top of salmon- 'after' it was cooked...I scraped it off... Salmon had no salt or seasoning...potato hash was way over cooked, to dehydrated potatoes and we ate at 5pm, beginning of dinner service. Onions looked great, but did not taste like 'crispy' onions..placed on edge of plate.

Sister had corn chowder that she love, I tasted it and I do NOT like lukewarm soups, of any kind.
Cornbread was cute - in a tiny cast iron skillet, with pork belly bacon jam(was on the Dry side) and soaked in sweet sauce; tasted more like a yellow cake in taste and texture.
Dessert, had banana pie, Emeril's tribute to his grandmother, was good, tasted like instant banana pudding made with whipped cream, instead of milk, very thick, good banana's.
Waiter service was OUTSTANDING! They were the highlight of our dinner. We could not say enough good of them, they are 5 stars!
Food 1 star, very disappointed, would not go back, was a BIG let-down.

This restaurant is not on a par with Emeril's in New Orleans. Food was ok but not at all exceptional...and it was over-priced.

Love all of Emeril’s restaurants in New Orleans and I’m especially impressed with his new restaurant in destin. That being said I had high hopes when dining at Emeril’s Universal...unfortunately I was sadly let down. Service was great, drinks were great but the food was mediocre. The steak I had was over cooked and drenched with steak sauce. The gumbo was cold. The shrimp and grits were not as good as his other restaurants and the fried green tomatoes were also cold and sloppily plated. Will not return to this restaurant but I highly recommend his others.

I have eaten at Emerils in New Orleans at it was very good but Orlando no so much. I ordered the shrimp and grits and the shrimp were over cooked.

This was the third time at Emeril’s. Each time the food has not disappointed. Service is top notch and friendly. I am in Orlando for conventions and love going to Emeril’s when I’m in town. Plus you get to feel a little of the Universal Studios action. We ordered Mahi mahi and pork chop both fantastic.
