About Emeril's Restaurant Orlando
If you are unable to make a reservation online, please call us at (407) 224-2424.
Emeril's Orlando encompasses everything that Emeril stands for - high energy, bold exciting flavors & a memorable experience. Chef Emeril Lagasse's fifth restaurant, Emeril's Restaurant Orlando, is a fitting addition to the line-up at Universal CityWalk. Upon entering the restaurant your eyes take you on a ride up the metal staircase, across the Gertjejansen artwork, down the wall of wine, over the Ochsner portrait & stopping for a moment at the food bar. By this time the staff greets you with the warmth of a welcome home. A drink at the bar, maybe a classic New Orleans cocktail to start & then you are seated. The dining room bustles with energy with a view of the chef & the brilliance in the kitchen. Although walk-ins can be accommodated, reservations are highly recommended. Our dress policy is casual, but no sleeveless shirts for gentleman & boys.

Emeril's Restaurant Orlando Ratings and Reviews
This place is amazing. Who thought you could get a fabulous meal just outside of a theme park? We were exhausted after a day at universal studios, and needed to get some calories. The wild mushroom flatbread from wood burning oven was delicious as was the cornbread starter. Scallops were some of the largest I have ever had and cooked to perfection. Wine is reasonably priced, but scotch is not. Enjoy
Celebrating a birthday all was well with the cornbread and soup. The pork chop was dry and over done. The waiter (Marcus) did offer to have another cooked foe me which i declined. Then the dessert my wife ordered came to me as a birthday gift. I did not order a dessert and do not like chocolate mousse. The experience left me feeling that i chose the wrong restaurant to dine for the evening.
In the future i would limit my order to appetizer and soup.
I had been to this restaurant several years back and had one of the best meals I've had. So on this vacation I recommended to my husband we go. Wasn't anything special this time around. I ordered the short ribs and they were dry and tough. The beat thing we ate was the cornbread. The service was excellent, the entire staff really hustled. But the food was nothing special.
Best to make a reservation ahead of time, it fills up fast!
After our dinner, I can see why, the food is amazing.
Do not go in only for an entrée, do the full course with the wine pairing.
(even the kids chicken strips were freshly made, those were awesome too!)
What a disappointment. After three years of fluctuating quality, Emeril's has run its course. I've had great meals in the past here, but this recent visit wasn't one of them. I had made reservations weeks before arriving, yet, my companion and I were seated way in the back of the bar under a giant-screen TV showing sports. I do not come to Emeril's to eat in a sports bar. Our waiter was completely unattentive. While our appetizers were fine (the butternut squash soup was delicious), the main courses were a big disappointment. The broccoli was COLD. And our waiter never came by to see if we were enjoying our meals so we couldn't say anything. The dessert was hideous. I ordered the pot of chocolate creme. It was supposed to taste chocolatey. Instead, it tasted like badly made pudding with a really bad flavor. When the waiter finally came by to see if we were finished, I mentioned how bad the dessert was. He removed it from the check but never asked if I would like to try something else instead. I will not be returning to Emeril's, nor would I recommend it.
Arrived for 18th Anniversary Dinner with a 7:00 Reservation @ 6:45 PM and was not seated until 7:15 PM. Food was great, the ambiance understandably was busy due to Holiday Parties (always seems to happen when you have a December Anniversary). Service was very good though I must admit that when going to a higher end restaurant, I expect to not have to ask for refills on water. Also there were long delays between courses of meals; where we were sitting there wondering, what was coming next; not in anticipation but when will the next course get there. Ultimately I would go back but not for a Special / Romantic occasion but more as a nicer restaurant experience.
A mediocre experience for an expected fine dining experience. Happy hour specials only available if you seated at the bar. The hor dourve was a cheddar chive biscuit ala Red Lobster style and ONE per person. Coudos for the sparkling water option, as opposed to only tap.
The salt shaker had dried food crusted on it, forks had bent tines. The entrees were reasonable portions and well seasoned. The chicken, swordfish, and crabcakes were well prepared, the scallops were significantly undercooked for our preference. We didn't stay for dessert, as the offerings were surprisingly uninspired.
Horrible experience. Waited over 3 1/2 hours for our food. Our waiter was extremely apologetic and so was the Manager, but there is no excuse for service to take that long. I felt horrible because I suggested the restaurant and it was my girlfriends 40th birthday and there were 6 of us. We all had sitters and were hoping to enjoy a cocktail at another venue, but instead we sat and waited and waited. After I complained about the absurd wait time a waitress came over and tossed a plate in front of me for my girlfriends birthday dessert that was coming. (Literally tossed no exaggeration) The main waiter witnessed it happen and immediately came over and apologized as well as the manager once again. Service at a restaurant can make or break your experience. I wanted to leave immediately, but since it was my girlfriends birthday I didn’t want to ruin the night.
Wasted 3 1/2 hours for an apology. The manager did not comp anything. So between babysitters, a Limo and a nightmare dinner I wasted a lot of money and time I could have spent in a wonderful restaurant with proper service and delicious food. Live in Orlando been to Emeril’s many many many times. Will never again. This will be our last. Have a home in New Orleans as well so we know our food and service quite well.
We only had a limited amount of time eat prior to attending a show at the hard rock live.
When we informed our server, Josh (and his twin brother, both of whom were excellent) he was very accommodating and had our meals out in no time.
Each of us ordered something different and passed our plates around, the food (and wine) was excellent!
Will definitely return and highly recommend Emeril's.
Our food was cold. Cold swordfish and cold corn surrounding it. My husband very expensive strip steak was so tough that even a steak knive didn’t work. My sister in law had short ribs that appeared to be chuck roast. They were definitely not short ribs. The salmon was good.
The desserts just ok. Service was good, but servers kept disappearing.
We enjoyed lunch at Emeril's. The food was fantastic, the servers were attentive (but not overly so) and there were only 3 other occupied tables. Our table had a nice view of City Walk, great for people watching.
At the end of the meal we were too full for the desired desert selections. So, our server brought over a spicey sorbet (for the gf birthday boy). It had a kick and a lit candle. It was The perfect ending to a great visit.
We will definitely visit again. 👫👍
A good restaurant in a challenging location. Emeril's is a top notch restaurant in the heart of a congested tourist area. Evening guest wearing everything from jacket and tie to shorts and tee shirts. The restaurant is very loud and not conducive to a romantic dinner. The food is tasty but a bit spicy.
Food and service were outstanding but gave only 4 stars overall due to the location. This restaurant is located at the Universal City Walk, which is like boarding an airplane due to the exceptionally long walk and security line. Our server, Kyle, was a true professional as was the rest of the staff. They made our anniversary dinner one to remember!
I visited last year with my daughter last year the food was delicious , I decided to return this year for Thanksgiving with my family.I had to change my order which was the 20oz.ribeye , it was tough I asked the waiter if they served sweet tea he said yes this turned out not to be true.
We were on vacation and chose Emeril's based on a previous experience with Emeril's in New Orleans. The food in Orlando was fine but not as good as we recalled in New Orleans. The service was fine. The server got one of the orders wrong, but he did apologize and remedy it in a timely manner.
Shockingly disappointing. Ended our final nite at Universal with a meal at Emeril’s. Service was disappointing, food took an hour to be served and it arrived cold. Kind of a hard to screw up a bowl of pasta for a 6 year old but ... like the steaks, it came out cold and rubbery. Only save for the team was that they removed both adult meals and wine from the bill. A nice gesture, but it would have been better to pay full price, eat well -prepared and hot meal vs having Emeril’s make Applebee’s look like a 4 star restaurant. Not again.
I have never been disappointed at an Emeril restaurant. The corn bread with bacon jam was outstanding. Fried green tomatoes were also very good. The pork chop was to die for. What was alo impressive was the cost. My son and I have eaten at several different restraint during our stay at Universal and the cost were all about the same but the quality was much better at Emeril.
