About Emeril's Restaurant Orlando
If you are unable to make a reservation online, please call us at (407) 224-2424.
Emeril's Orlando encompasses everything that Emeril stands for - high energy, bold exciting flavors & a memorable experience. Chef Emeril Lagasse's fifth restaurant, Emeril's Restaurant Orlando, is a fitting addition to the line-up at Universal CityWalk. Upon entering the restaurant your eyes take you on a ride up the metal staircase, across the Gertjejansen artwork, down the wall of wine, over the Ochsner portrait & stopping for a moment at the food bar. By this time the staff greets you with the warmth of a welcome home. A drink at the bar, maybe a classic New Orleans cocktail to start & then you are seated. The dining room bustles with energy with a view of the chef & the brilliance in the kitchen. Although walk-ins can be accommodated, reservations are highly recommended. Our dress policy is casual, but no sleeveless shirts for gentleman & boys.

Emeril's Restaurant Orlando Ratings and Reviews
Food was overall great considering this restaurant was attached to a theme park. Adult meals were very good, but kids meals were disappointing, in my opinion upscale restaurants in general tend to serve barely adequate kids meals that belong in a fast food chain.
We ended up with a very inattentive and ultimately rude waiter. J.T., our waiter, seemed annoyed and hassled from the time our party of two sat down and ignored the few requests and questions put to him. He seemed busy with two other large parties nearby. After being ignored I requested that he be more attentive at which time he put his hand over his mouth with a large "oh" expression, and walked on. His assistant, Ashley, said he was actually "very nice but you just need to get to know him."
I was with another person and we both had the BBQ salmon. The portion size was good but the salmon was a bit overcooked. The food tasted good and the wine and drinks we had were also decent.
The prices are reasonable and the food okay given the location and size of the restaurant. It's very hard to get beyond JT, the server's overtly hostile behavior. I felt humiliated by this waiter which isn't a good feeling. I can't recommend this restaurant based on our experience.
I rarely write reviews and was nervous about visiting a chain restaurant in the Universal complex.
I have to say our group of 3 was unanimous agreeing upon amazing food and service at Emeril’s. We went twice and even better the second time! The duck wings are outrageous. Desserts, outrageous. I am a beer snob and the draft selection, outrageous.
All the waitstaff is amazing (2 per table). Shout out to Diandra who was working hard as a backup and made our visit better!
If you are a foodie with high expectations you will not be disappointed.
There were a party going on there or something like that . They put us in a table near the bar with no dinner mood . It was really desapointing because I was there before and was looking forward to come again . I really hope they don’t do this again to anyone
The restaurant was excellent. We were about 15 minutes late and they were very gracious about holding the reservation even though it was very crowded. Everything we ordered was excellent. The servers were very attentive and all the food was delivered in a very timely manner. I would highly recommend.
The food was incredible! We each ordered something different and every dish was perfect. Service was excellent and we were so impressed! Their dessert was also great. Ordered the bread pudding and it was very good. Friends loved the carrot cake. I had the vegetable lasagna and loved every bite of it. Our table also ordered chicken, and the pork chop! Excellent restaurant!
The wait staff was great, the head waiter forgot or didn’t check on our orders in a timely manner. We arrived at 7:15 for a 7:30 reservation, we were seated at 7:25. Met with our head waiter, ordered water and 1 ginger ale. The drinks arrived quickly, were asked for starters, ordered the corn bread, and placed our main course meals. At 8:45 the manager came out to explain something went wrong. Mind you, we have been watching other tables get table bread which we hadn’t and the head waiter took our bread plates at the same time hey took the chargers and wine glasses. Yes we had had plenty of time to talk to one another, but an hour and a half before someone noticed something has gone terribly wrong. The manager tried to give us a free dessert or appetizer, but those were already complementary for purchasing a park ticket. It just wasn’t a even a good dining experience. Hey Emeril, if you are reading these, you need to start checking on your name sakes. These restaurants are going to ruin the food empire you have built if you personally don’t start checking in randomly to make sure they are doing the right things to keep repeat customers. Personally I will never set foot into another Emeril type establishment. We had too many bad experiences in the last 2 years in Las Vegas, Orlando, and New Orleans.
I know that Emeril’s has become commercialized, but I really didn’t expect the foodquality to have dropped so drastically. We ate here on New Year’s Eve and while the restaurant was full it did not feel crowded which was great considering the crowds outside. Our server was nice, but the food was really pretty bad. The pork chops were tough - but the glaze was decent. I ordered the papardelle - but what came out was a mushy pile of really overcooked angel hair pasta. So overall prettt disappointing. The desserts were the bright spot and were delicious.
Worth it! We loved it! For date night, I had the signature barbecue salmon & banana cream pie. I tend to be a bit of a seafood snob and quite the critic of quality fish, but I can say it was the best salmon dish I've ever had! My husband doesn't even like pie (especially one that has anything to do with bananas), but he ate half of my pie! We loved the food, service, & the great atmosphere! It wasn't too uncomfortably quiet like you'd expect for an upscale restaurant, yet it was perfect enough to enjoy our own conversation at our little candlelit table. The appetizers & desserts are reasonable, and the entrees are worth the pricetag to have the unique tasting & best quality food. We will definitely be back!
I am a local so when I dine at a “tourist location “ my expectations are usually low., mostly based on the sheer quantities of meals that are being served and the quality that follows. It was a nice surprise to have had a great meal here. I ordered the tuna and it was served perfectly seared. It was a beautiful piece of fish and the accompaniments were (apple, turnip and Brussels sprouts) were delicious. My husband had the grouper special which was good but a bit over cooked and though enjoyable not really special.
We were served warm biscuits as we were finishing our meal and were told they just came out of the oven.
We shared a nice piece of key lime pie, not too tart but a nice tang.
Service was attentive but bar service was slow and the were out of JB black.
Know that in the heart of “touristville” you will be dining with large groups, lots of children and the result is noise, a lot of it.
We came to Citywalk to see a show and dined prior. I think of the choices available, Emeril’s was a good choice.
