Shockingly disappointing. Ended our final nite at Universal with a meal at Emeril’s. Service was disappointing, food took an hour to be served and it arrived cold. Kind of a hard to screw up a bowl of pasta for a 6 year old but ... like the steaks, it came out cold and rubbery. Only save for the team was that they removed both adult meals and wine from the bill. A nice gesture, but it would have been better to pay full price, eat well -prepared and hot meal vs having Emeril’s make Applebee’s look like a 4 star restaurant. Not again.

I have never been disappointed at an Emeril restaurant. The corn bread with bacon jam was outstanding. Fried green tomatoes were also very good. The pork chop was to die for. What was alo impressive was the cost. My son and I have eaten at several different restraint during our stay at Universal and the cost were all about the same but the quality was much better at Emeril.

Everything was great except for it taking over an hour to receive the majority of our food. The kids food came out quickly which was a welcome surprise. The manager comped on of the adult entrees and gave the kids free desserts which we never asked for. It was great that he took care of us but having to wait that long just wasn’t acceptable no matter what.

Creative menu - crispy brussel sprouts were yummy. My filet was cold and over seasoned - for the price, I was disappointed. Banana cream pie is a absolute must!

After being told it'd be an hour wait, I booked a reservation for 20 minutes later: strange. Anyway, get the 4 course menu with wine pairings for a good deal on more food than you probably want to eat. Wine selections trend strongly to the "it's ok" end of the spectrum. Shrimp and grits was merely 'meh'. Make sure to try the gumbo and of course the signature banana cream pie.

Honeymoon dinner, noisy, wished it could have been more romantic for us. The food was great and service was also. Pricy... but was expected in the theme park location.

Not impressed. Don’t get me wrong I think the food was better than good, but it was certainly not worthy of the name.

I ordered the the following crispy duck wings as a starter and the food was exceptional. My main entree was the salmon and it was raw and cold in the Center. I asked if the Center was suppose to be pink and cold, the server responded nonchalantly and said they could heat it up some more. I didn’t feel like getting sick on vacation so service and value ratings brought it way down. The salmon and service aside, the duck was excellent. Wife had the butternut squash bisque and braised short rib which tasted good, this the mixed review.

We both had the 4 courses for $48 and ordered different items - absolutely wonderful. Cornbread in skillet with bacon jam! We're converts. Gumbo and butternut squash soup were delectable. Best banana cream pie EVER!

It was a bit disappointing. I ordered shrimp and grits but the shrimp was bad. The texture was really off. I thought they were raw when I took the first bite. I'd cooked shrimp myself and I can tell good shrimp from bad shrimp. They were either refrozen or some kind of preservatives was used. Someone in the kitchen must know the shrimp wasn't right before they cooked them.

Service was good. The manager and the waiters came over and apologized. But I really had expected quality food from Emeril's.

I think sometimes we have expectations from reputation that are just not met. Being that Emeril had a long standing cooking show and is viewed as an excellent gourmet cook, I had high expectations for a restaurant that carries his name. The food was good but nowhere near amazing.

The Food - I will start with their cheddar biscuit which I was told was "addictive" by my waiter. Sorry to say, they were not even as flavorful as the ones you get at your local Red Lobster. Now onto the soup. I had the butternut squash soup which was excellent. It was creamy with nice flavor. I give that a thumbs up. For my main entree, I ordered the BBQ Salmon. Well, it was salmon topped with BBQ sauce which was standard. It was good but nothing to write home about. The BBQ sauce was about the equivalent of Kraft. The vegetables that accompanied it were ok. Now onto dessert. Well, I ordered the banana cream pie. I ordered it because I like banana cream pie and I have it, if offered, at various restaurants. Our waiter said "Oh, this is our signature dessert" and all I have to say is it shouldn't be. It was the driest tasting banana cream pie ever! I didn't make a dent in it because it was dry and tasteless. Needless to say, I was disappointed with my dessert.
Oh ... my wine was excellent.

The Ambience. The ambience was nice, quite and good for a romantic evening.

The Price. For over $170 for two people, I expect to eat amazing food. This was overpriced for the taste. As I said, it is good food but not what I classify as gourmet.

This is the good, the bad and the ugly as far as my experience. I will not be visiting again.

When we walked in, the host chided us for “being so early,” which was 7 minutes. We had two servers, but the “assistant” did all the work. Our server was preoccupied checking his cell phone after we got our food which meant our water glasses sat empty and we waited for dessert and check.

Our food was tremendous. My husband had the bbq salmon, which was on the 4/$48 special. I could not substitute the pumpkin pasta to get that deal, so ordered a salad and we shared the cornbread (yum) and key lime pie. Both our entrees ranked up there with best we’ve had.

This was a destination dinner- just to say we’ve been there. Food was delicious and the servers did try- it was very busy for a Monday night. Our male server just seemed bored with us!

The Service was the best part of the meal. All staff was excellent. The cornbread appetizer changed for the worse, the Cesar salad was extremely salty and our entrees were Good to OK depending on the meal. We have been coming to this location yearly for awhile and this dinner was disappointing in comparison to the first time we visited.

The TREVI PUMPKIN PAPPARDELLE PASTA was the BEST!!! Along with the House Salad and CHOCOLATE ESPRESSO POT DE CREME. Highly recommend this place for a quiet, romantic night out. A seat by the window is great for people watching as well.

If you try and pass yourself off as a fine dining restaurant then you need to rethink your label because it was something other than a fine dining experience. The service was similar to that of Applebee’s. We have two entrees and one had brown shrimp in it and the other was bland and we had to add lots of salt to the dish. Overall it was a disappointing experience.

My group was not seated in the main dining room since we had just come from the park and deemed not appropriately dressed. I understand that but we had to take the service elevator upstairs because I use a cane. I can’t be the first person in this situation.

The food was, unfortunately, just average. My friends and I have dined at Emeril’s restaurants a number of times in a variety of locations and the food was great. That is why we selected Emeril’s in Orlando. However my braised beef short ribs lacked much flavor. They could have been better seasoned. The mashed potatoes were mediocre. In New Orleans, they are exceptional.

My friend had a special appetizer of scallops that was good. However she had requested it be her dinner. The server said that it could only be an appetizer since the chef was “carefully guarding” them since there were only five scallops per dish. When the dish arrived, there were between 15 and 20 scallops. Did my friend get something other than the special or was this just a tactic to make her order an appetizer and a main dish?

We had planned to have dessert since this dinner was for my birthday but based on the above, we didn’t want to be further disappointed.

Our first time and the food was fantastic! We love Cajun/Creole food and Emeril's did not disappoint! There was a special 4 course for $48 which included appetizer, soup/salad, entree, and dessert. We had the cornbread and the angel hair w/ mushroom appetizer which was a little spicy. The seasonal butternut squash soup was thick and the gumbo had a little kick to it. We chose the Shrimp and Grits as our entree which also had a slice of house made andouille sausage. Dessert was Emeril's signature Banana Cream Pie and a Key Lime pie. It was one of the best meals we have enjoyed! Definitely recommend and would go again!

Restaurant was crowded, had reservation for 2 and arrived early was sat early due to cancellation in bar area. Ordered cocktails and dinner . One had special 4-course option $48.00 SMOKED WILD + EXOTIC MUSHROOMS, CHICKEN + ANDOUILLE GUMBO, BRAISED BEEF SHORT RIB, EMERIL'S BANANA CREAM PIE. Other CARAMELIZED SEA SCALLOPS $30.00. All food was lukewarm at best! Mushrooms =there were 4 on plate with too much cream sauce. Gumbo= (cold) . Ribs= too much FAT barely edible. But the scallops were the surprise=only seared on one side and chewy and cold and relish on base was soup! Returned, ordered Ceaser salad , nothing but salt. Returned! Manager removed both from bill, came to table and stated he was concerned we had enough food to eat???? Lastly, banana pie looking forward to Emerils special since table next to us got a piece 12" tall looked fantastic! Ours was 5" tall and droopy ! No portion control??? Will not recommend to friends. Very unhappy with food quality. Service was fine. Poor food quality and portion control. Realize they were busy and did wait for all courses. Not a good night for kitchen!

We went to Emeril’s with a large part including 2 small children. They set us at a round table (great!) by the kitchen (not great). The restaurant was very noisy, but the servers were attentive. The appetizer, fried green tomatoes, were delicious and small. It took a long time to get our entrees (an hour). The food was yummy, though. We would go again.

The food, like every Emeril's restaurant, was outstanding again. However, the thing that made this visit to the restaurant extra special was the over the top service my family received. My kids acting up and causing a ruckus while waiting for their food (which came quickly but never quick enough for hungry kids) was handled with grace and compassion by the entire staff. After my son knocked over my entire freshly poured beer, I wasn't met with sighs and eye rolls; instead we were whisked away to a new fresh table and I had a full beer (placed away from my son's side) before the old one had even finished spilling. The entire team from the hostess, to our waitress, to the manager, and even other waiters were remarkable and assured 2 a little overwhelmed parents that accidents happen and it wasn't a big deal at all. Highly recommend Emeril's at CityWalk not just for the great food but for the best staff I've encountered in all my years of dining out.

I have been to numerous Emirl’s restaurants before all over the United States. This is by far the worst I have eaten at. I have been to this restaurant twice now. The first experience was excellent. The service and food were up to Emirel’s standards. This time I was very disappointed in all the aspects that I was so looking forward to. 😢😢😢😢😢

My family went here while we were on vacation and I will say we had an awesome waiter. My husband and I have five kids and our waiter was very patient with us and joked with the kids quite a bit.

When we first making reservations to eat, I was like wow, Emerils, there food will be great! Unfortunately, the steak I ordered came with mashed potatoes and green beans which would have been good if it wasn’t cold. My parents order was cold and one of my kids dishes was cold as well.

They did apologize for the food being cold and remade the food. One dish came back full of fat, and they ended up taking that one off our bill.

I might have had high expectations when I thought of Emerils but I definitely didn’t expect cold food! Maybe they were having an off night.

Emril's has been around a long, long time so they have both the art and the science of fine cuisine down consistently. The menu has a reasonable selection from which to choose without making the decision a chore. The notable items, for us at least, were in the appetizer, accompaniments and dessert selections. The entrees are all excellent, just not overly creative.

The wine list is superb and our waiter took special care in describing the various offerings in which we were interested. He was almost at a sommelier level and much more well versed than your typical waiter.

We were there on our Anniversary and all the staff went out of their way to wish us a happy one, not just the pair that were our servers. It was an excellent experience.
