Emeril's Orlando encompasses everything that Emeril stands for - high energy, bold exciting flavors & a memorable experience. Chef Emeril Lagasse's fifth restaurant, Emeril's Restaurant Orlando, is a fitting addition to the line-up at Universal CityWalk. Upon entering the restaurant your eyes take you on a ride up the metal staircase, across the Gertjejansen artwork, down the wall of wine, over the Ochsner portrait & stopping for a moment at the food bar. By this time the staff greets you with the warmth of a welcome home. A drink at the bar, maybe a classic New Orleans cocktail to start & then you are seated. The dining room bustles with energy with a view of the chef & the brilliance in the kitchen. Although walk-ins can be accommodated, reservations are highly recommended. Our dress policy is casual, but no sleeveless shirts for gentleman & boys.

Fairly good food, but extremely slow service. Granted that we had a party of 11 but it took us 2.5 hours to eat. Much too long I feel. I would not recommend . I have eaten in two other Emeril Restaurants in New Orleans that are much better for both food and service.

Corn Cowder with Shrimp was very disappointing. Shrimp was very over cooked so texture was mealy. Soup was warm, not hot enough. Blackened shrimp with grits was cooked well. However, the sauce which was to contain Tabasco had no bite to it, Tabasco was undetectable, basically a tomato base. Grits were cooked nicely, creamy. Cheese biscuit was good.
For the price, the food should have been better. Overall impression was it was a “chain restaurant.”

Food was overall great considering this restaurant was attached to a theme park. Adult meals were very good, but kids meals were disappointing, in my opinion upscale restaurants in general tend to serve barely adequate kids meals that belong in a fast food chain.

Our food was late, cold, and unappetizing. However, the manager was very generous and removed the food charges from our bill. I would like to try Emeril's again...

We ended up with a very inattentive and ultimately rude waiter. J.T., our waiter, seemed annoyed and hassled from the time our party of two sat down and ignored the few requests and questions put to him. He seemed busy with two other large parties nearby. After being ignored I requested that he be more attentive at which time he put his hand over his mouth with a large "oh" expression, and walked on. His assistant, Ashley, said he was actually "very nice but you just need to get to know him."
I was with another person and we both had the BBQ salmon. The portion size was good but the salmon was a bit overcooked. The food tasted good and the wine and drinks we had were also decent.
The prices are reasonable and the food okay given the location and size of the restaurant. It's very hard to get beyond JT, the server's overtly hostile behavior. I felt humiliated by this waiter which isn't a good feeling. I can't recommend this restaurant based on our experience.

We arrived 10 minutes late because we did not know that we would take 12 minutes to walk from the parking lot to the restaurant (and carring two babies). The restaurant must allert this distance between parking and location to your clients.
