Very good food, authentic Louisiana cuisine with an artsy twist on most recipes. My wife had the ribeye, and it was probably one of the top 4 or 5 steaks that I have ever tasted.

I had the escargot, and a bowl of gumbo. The escargot was very good, the gumbo was the second best I have ever had.

The atmosphere was great, the ambiance was splendid for a date night or anniversary, and the service was very good.

If the system allowed 4.5 stars, that is the review I would give Emeril's.

2nd best restaurant I have been to in NOLA. Only Copeland's get's higher marks from me.

My review- Outstanding (10/10) appetizers, outstanding (10/10) salads but the main dish (salmon) gets a 5/10 and the dessert (2/10).

My wifes' -- 10/10 for the appetizers, 10/10 soup, 4/10 main dish (beef stroganoff) and 1/10 for the dessert.

Everything was perfect. From the tablecloth to the food. Service was impeccable. The manager, without any prompting, even came by and asked a table full of loud and obnoxious people to tone things down. Have the banana cream pie for desert. It was wonderful.

We came from Chicago and saved this restaurant for our grand finale.

Appetizers Issues
- Gulf shrimp. They were delivered overcooked and lukewarm. Barely any seasoning. We didn't send them back, but should of.
- Duck cream soup. Good flavor, broth was only served. Not sure if there was more to it. The problem was again the serving temperature was luke warm.

Main course
- Fried chicken was a little over done. The crust didnt have much flavor and was very dry. It was the servered at a good termperature. I wish it had more flavor.

Waygu skirt steak with chimichurri and brussels - Cooked well. Chimichurri was nothing more than a basic one. Very boring.

Wine Issues
- Bottle of Duckhorn wine (100 dollars). This bottle was served to use very warm. Very strange. Instead of replacing the bottle, they remedied the situation, by poring us a new glass from the bar while the already opened bottle was chilled to a normal red temperature. We are not total wine snobs, but at that price point, they should find a proper bottle, or refund it.

Overall, this place is just a tourist trap. they need quality control. I will say the desserts looked phenomenal but we didn't get to try them.

Very good food (a little spicy for my taste) but overall great. I really will appreciate you have more gluten free options, our waiter only gave one entree as gluten free option and that is something I didn’t like. Good wine!!! Great créeme brûlée

We had such a great experience from when the Host check us in till we received the bill at the end of the meal. The mac n cheese and collard green were to die for!!!! Definitely will recommend and if New Orleans again will go for dinner....

EXCELLENT! My wife and I went here for our anniversary and were not disappointed. We had been to Emeril's NOLA and had a great time. The food and the service was excellent here also. Can't wait to go back.

We love Emeril's and make sure we visit every year that we come in town for the French Quarter Fest. This visit was with 6 Adults and we all enjoyed ourselves. All the food was delicious as always: sausage app, meatball app, beat salad, wedge salad, gumbo, fried chicken (2), pork chops (2) (very large portion), steak, drum fish, peanut butter pie (so yummy!).

We have had the privilege of eating at several of Emeril's restaurants, but this was the first time we have been to the one here in New Orleans. The food was amazing, and the service was faultless. Excellent dinner! And you KNOW Emeril knows something about food!

All I can say is "Simply Amazing". I strongly recommend the duck wings as a appetizer. The salmon was delicious and I topped it off with season special dessert which was strawberry boulette w/butter pecan ice cream. Everytime I come to NOLA I will definitely make reservations. Two thumbs up

I thought the food was nothing awe-inspiring, particularly for the great expense. And, there were no gluten free options that were not sub-par (i.e., you could order something from the menu, but it would not include many important ingredients, leaving a less-than-great dish). However, the ambiance made for a fun time, and the service was excellent.

I had fun. In New Orleans at a conference.Ordered duck and mushroom soup, chicken gumbo, brisket and jalapeño in mini wraps, wedge salad and pan fried scallops. Words don't describe the beautiful tastes. Every one a new revelation. I had fun.

My wife and I have been here several times before and this visit did not disappoint. The service is fantastic and the food is always dependable! You should definitely add Emeril's to your fine dining rotation.

Apps were amazing. Duck wings, oysters, and bbq shrimp. Got the ribeye special- good but unimpressed for the $55 price tag. Very thin cut of meat that was disappointing. Overall good time.

We had high expectations and all of them were met and exceeded. Impeccable service by a well trained team of servers and the food matched the level of service. We were in town for a business meeting that just happened to correspond to our 31st wedding anniversary and were fortunate enough to obtain reservations. Whether you are going for a special occasion or just because you want the finest food and the finest service, you are going to the right place.

We come to New Orleans once a year from California just to ear at Emeril’s. The staff are perfectionists, the atmosphere, warm and comfortable,the service acceptional. Now for the menu, creative, fresh done to perfection. I could go on forever, both to fly 2,000 miles just for dinner says a lot. Emeril you rock.

We were seated promptly upon our arrival. It may have taken a few minutes longer to order a drink but not a big deal. We ordered apps and entrees after a 30 minute wait our entrees came out. Of course we pointed this out so they pulled them back. The manager came over to tell us another table ordered the exact same entrees as us. I didn’t buy It The apps were good. I had the gumbo and my wife the stuffed clams. Our entrees were okay although not hot. It did seem like they remade them and were not under a heat lamp for an hour though. Now here’s the killer. Bill comes and they had each entree twice. A $70 mistake. Of course this needed to be pointed out. No apologies whatsoever. That told me IMHO the manager lied. In the future I would suggest take ownership of your mistakes. Perhaps buy a drink or a desert for your customers inconvenience.

Great expectations were dashed with food that ranked at the bottom of the barrel. Chefs usually say that you can tell a great kitchen by how well they do their chicken. Wow did they fail. Popeyes puts Emerils chicken to shame. There is no excuse to put two dried out pieces of chicken on a plank with a cast iron pan of digusting mac and cheese and think this is gourmet dining. Why do waiters ask how is your meal and yo tell them honestly and they do nothing about it! Sad to say two waiters did the same thing and nothing. My wifes waygu beef could have used an axe to chop through and the potatoes were rare. The plates went back unearen. Complaints made and still charged full price for the worst meal weve had in many years. I doubt if this was unique seeing several plates going from tables half eaten. My suggestion is go elsewhere and don't be disappointed

Great restaurant that does not disappoint for stylish New Orleans dining. The menu is not 100% New Orleans/ Southern cuisine but more eclectic, meat heavy "world" cuisine (as advertised on the website). We started with a cocktail which was very impressive, well balanced and delicious - then moved onto the stuffed clams to start which were the perfect size for 2 people. The fresh breads that they bring around were delicious as well and I always like to see something that time consuming come out fresh. They give you a wine TEXTBOOK, its literally 70 pages which was fun to look through, however my waiter kept pointing me to the back where it was wine by the glass - was a little pushy and cant help but think he was making assumptions about my wine knowledge or willingness to spend money. Ended up getting Emril's Santa Barbara Syrah by the glass because I was feeling a little rushed and didn't have time to go through the list. My sister got the pork chop and I got the wagyu beef - the pork chop was HUGE but perfectly cooked. The wagyu beef was cooked to my request and the broccoli was perfectly blanched, great color and fresh taste. The potatoes cuts were excellent and as a dish was very well rounded - an elevated steak and potatoes. The highlight for the meal for us were definitely the service (all abut our main waiter)- the servers were very prompt and engaging (not a fan when servers are always frowning at a nice place like they are wall ornaments) and any request we had was quickly facilitated. Additionally the cook on the meat was insane and delicious, some serious skills which are much appreciated.

As expected, the food was outstanding. We ordered several appetizers in addition to our entrees to get a wide sampling of food. The wait staff was beyond attentive, but we felt very rushed. I had to ask them to slow down. They took my wife's cocktail before she finished it without asking, but did give her a new one gratis. Kudos for that. Similarly, our salad was almost removed before completing, but I caught that one. All in all, an exceptional culinary experience at a reasonable cost. Would most definitely dine there again.

Food was great. Service very attentive but it felt like they try really hard to rotate the tables as quickly as possible. We had already that feeling, but it was confirmed when we waited until we finished the main course to order a soufflé (which takes 30 minutes) the waiter went on and on saying that it wasn’t really a soufflé but rather a lava cake and that we should order something else or we would be disappointed. We still went for it, and it was a really good soufflé, tasty and with the right texture. My wife is a chef so she would know, and it was really good. We told the waiter and he insisted he didn’t like it and that he thought it shouldn’t even be in the menu. Once again, it felt like he was trying to get us moving and either way, even it he was convinced about what he was saying, it doesn’t speak very highly of the service and how the waiters represent the restaurant. Besides that, great food, especially those chops with mole sauce.
