Our server “young Mike” was awesome... great menu suggestions - the shrimp stuffed clams were amazing.
Food mediocre, service excellent. Ordered beef filet medium—-came out well well done. Hubby ordered lobster pasta—nothing u can’t make at home. Don’t bother...
Awesome experience at the counter and the food and service was excellent!!!!! We will be back.
The waiter would walk up to table and interrupt the conversation instead of approaching and waiting for a pause. Was given the dessert menu when asked for cocktail menu.
We have been to Emerils 3 times before this visit. The food seemed to be a little lacking this visit. I had the Lang “T bone.” There was hardly any meat on the serving I received. We had a table of 6. The service was great as always. They knocked themselves out to take care of us.
Good food and service reasonably priced. Tried the stuffed clams, gulf drum and bbq salmon and soufflé-all very tasty. Only hiccup was they did not accommodate my wife’s allergies for the amuse bouche and bread. Otherwise would highly recommend.
Great food! Had a business dinner with six people. It didn't disappoint. Service was outstanding.
Everything was delicious. The shrimp stuffed clams were one of the best things I have eaten in a long time. Service was attentive and friendly.
We were given the option of sitting at the chefs table. Great time watching them prepare the dishes and able to ask questions.
They put us in a quiet room for our business dinner which was wonderful. The service and food was outstanding.
We celebrated a birthday and sat at the Chef’s table! The food was delicious, service was amazing , the evening was very memorable!
Although the food was fabulous our head waiter was overbearing, spoke way too softly and had horrible breath
Wonderful experience! Delicious! Service excellent. Thank you to Mike and all!
Food & Service we’re both great!
The Food and service were wonderful. The wait staff was a bit "too" attentive at times, but a great experience.
Excellent staff, fun atmosphere.
Gumbo was very average. I just expected more. Beef Po Boy needed more juice, dry with bread.
Meeting friends that live in Houston for the Saints game and had a great dinner. We have a condo in New Orleans and our bill was about $250 for 4 people with apps 1 drink each and an entree a piece. It is Emril’s so I know it is pricy but I could have gotten a comparable meal in another restaurant. It really wasn’t about the bill but the experience. The service is top notch and really a 5 star service. Food and drinks I would have paid $150, but happy to pay $100 for the exceptional service. In a restaurant like this your service is key and it was right on. Great job!
outstanding food and service. the best!! we were so looking forward to Emeril's and our expectations were far exceeded
Appetizers were delicious. However food service was very slow. Took over an hour and a half to receive our entrees. One of our appetizers was served with dinner. Steak came out VERY rare instead of medium rare. Pork belly was hot but the setup of the pork was served cold. They did apologize though, took those items off our bill and gave us complimentary dessert. Would return to see if they improve their food service and dinner timing.
I chose this restaurant for my birthday celebration. I was really looking forward to the experience and it was just ok. The best thing was the BBQ shrimp. Our table had the lacquered duck, fried chicken, lamb chop and pork chop. I would say the pork chop was the best entree. I guess I was expecting more.
My wife & I celebrated our 41st anniversary there. Ambiance was very inviting. Service was great and food was impeccable. Looking forward to celebrating our 42nd there.
The experience and food was amazing!!!!!!
I ordered the salmon entree and it was delicious. It was worth dining at Emeril's restaurant. Highly recommended.
Sat at the Chef’s table in the kitchen. Tasting menu with wine pairing. We were a party of 3. Food was great and staff super friendly and attentive.
Not our first time at Emeril’s. Food was as good or better than we have ever had there. Service was very good except that the primary service person regaled is with too many stories about his past experiences. It was actually entertaining at first but wore thin by the end of the evening. Would suggest he tone it down a bit.
Always pricey but typical N.O. and not so bad as in NYC.
The staff at Emeril's were all very professional. Ty, who was the team leader I believe, made us feel special and was VERY attentive and knowledgeable. I would defitnely recommend this place to anyone and certainly plan on visiting again. Again, big thanks to Ty for the great experience. They also acknowledged my wife's birthday throughout the night. Overall great experience.
Very good service. The food was exceptional except I thought the flank steak needed a little more flavor otherwise outstanding restaurant with great people.
My birthday celebration with my daughters.
Great atmosphere, good service and good food
Brandon was a great server and the food was fantastic.
We were greeted with smiles. We were about ten minutes early and were immediately seated. Everything was explained to us and the evening was outstanding.
Mist amazing food!
The food was excellent as I expected it would be, and the service was solid. While the property is charming, and upscale - very nice. So what didn't I like? This was my 2nd trip to Emeril's, the first being new years eve in 2000. That was a magical experience, 5 star in every way. I was expecting not exactly the same obviously, but a similar dining experience, one that I did not mind paying up for. If I am going to spend money for a classy night out, I expect the complete experience. In this case, it was the clientele that disappointed. I would expect a minimum dress code, that would exclude t-shirts, baseball caps (not even removed during dinner). In defense of the restaurant they do have a dress code which states casual. Unless casual means wear anything you want, a little enforcement would have been nice. Are we just too politically correct to risk offending anyone by asking them to express some level of decorum?
Our service team was fantastic! Visiting from out of town, we felt so welcomed and comfortable. The food was mouth-watering, the ambiance was perfect, the restaurant was beautiful, and the wine was fantastic. If I ever visit New Orleans again, I will be back!
My sisters and I were celebrating a friends birthday! She loves the Food channel and watching Chefs prepare different menu items, so she was super excited to be able to sit up at the counter to watch the Emeril Chefs! Everyone was great and the meal was delicious!
Amazing food and service. Our favorite restaurant in NOLA
Great service with our group of seven! All servers were personable, flexible, and friendly. The food was also excellent!
25 year old daughter survived brain surgery!!
I was about of a girls' trip to New Orleans, and we wanted a nice restaurant to eat dinner with a great ambiance. One of the ladies is getting ready and they provided complementary champagne with our dinner which was lovely. All the entrees were delicious and the service was great. I would return to the restaurant.
