From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave amazing service. Priced perfectly. Definitely a must go and try.
Wrong salad was served other salad never showed
Salmon was undercooked toward the middle.
Food was excellent and service was great, but the food did not knock my socks off like it did the prior time I was there.
I was celebrating my birthday and it was awful. My husband ordered the lamb and it was cold and tough; my food tasted like it was missing some seasoning. The BBQ shrimp were good but you only get 5 little shrimp and the corn bread was good. My waiter wasn’t paying attention and brought the wrong items to our table (my husband ordered sprite, he brought coke) and told me I didn’t tell him about one of the orders when I did; so I guess I’m a liar. I had high expectations and was excited since it was my 1st time in New Orleans....I left totally disappointed. I was also asked about the occasion when I made the reservation I was thinking someone at the restaurant would’ve known it was my birthday since it was apart of the reservation; they didn’t know anything. I do not plan to patronize this restaurant again.
Waite staff and sommelier were wonderful. Five course meal was superb. The noise level was very high. I was surprised that the patrons were not better dressed. (Maybe I’m too old fashioned). Enjoyed the experience.
Wonderful experience! Both the service and food were outstanding!
It was brilliant! The food and the service. Unmatched!
What a wonderful place to celebrate our anniversary. Food was beautiful and delicious. Service was beyond words. Our waiter, John, was so knowledgeable about the selections and beverage choices. If in New Orleans this is a place for an outstanding and memorable dinner!
Always a great experience! I truly love the food here and it is my favorite place to treat myself to something special. I also enjoy sitting at the counter and watching the kitchen staff! This is the only restaurant where I honestly can’t wait to try something new. The service is wonderful in that their team goes out of their way to make you feel at home.
A wonderful evening with friends. Impeccable service and great atmosphere.
I have now been twice and am always very impressed with the food and the service. I would highly recommend the stuffed clams as an app. Out of this world. The service is fantastic. I am looking forward to my next visit back!
Best meal we’ve ever had at a restaurant! Mike and the whole wait staff were excellent with outstanding recommendations.
Best meal of our 5 nights in New Orleans, which surprised us since we couldn’t get a reservation at our first two choices! Thought it might be “chain restaurant “ quality but far from it. Wonderful service, perfect table, and fantastic food with reasonable prices.
Fabulous place for my friend's 40th Birthday. Excellent attentive service!
The food, as expected, was delicious. The service was outstanding, it just seemed like our server was hovering over our table. The only other issue i four was that the grilled vegetables were disappointing. The were a gray mess and you couldn’t tell
What was what. I had the pork chop with sweet potatoes. DELICIOUS.
Ask for a seat at the kitchen counter
Great dining experience. Will be back again and recommend to others.
An absolute 'must' when you visit New Orleans. Just as you would expect from the BAM chef everything was impeccable from the service to the presentation and quality of the food. 5 Stars!!
Our meal was the best over 4 days of being in New Orleans. Scott made the suggestions of the day sound mouthwatering and the lunch was exactly that. Dessert was to die for including the chocolate souffle and banana cream pie. We even tried the red velvet cake to end the lunch (after our desserts). We'll be back.
Outstanding as usual. Great place to eat after a Saints game.
Our server was difficult to hear and didn't offer suggestions or have much personality. The server staff was attentive and did a nice job of making sure we had everything we needed. The food was fantastic and the atmosphere was great.
Highly recommend! From appetizer, to dessert, everything was extraordinary. Table had chicken gumbo and barbeque shrimp that was superb, a pork chop that really should of been for two, drum fish and salmon that were cooked to perfection, and a banana cream cheesecake that was melt in your mouth delicious. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Wine recommendations were on point. Ambiance was great. Even the Neighborhood was enjoyable, great to get away from the craziness of Bourbon St. area. Our only disappointment, no Emeril sighting. We heard it was his birthday weekend, so hopefully he was out celebrating. 10 out of 10
We love coming to Emeril's! The food is exceptional and the service is unbeatable. We look forward to Emeril's every time we are in New Orleans. They make us feel very special.
I was really surprised how affordable dinner was especially for the quality of the food. The wine list was vast. The service was excellent. They timed everything just right.
Service was excellent and the food was even better!
I decided to take a train ride to New Orleans with only three things on my agenda. One of them included eating at an amazing restaurant like Emeril's. I am traveling by myself and while looking at other restaurants it appears a few didn't allow me to reserve a party of one seat. I am so glad that Emeril's has this option. I had a unique vantage point of the kitchen. I was on a very high stool and I saw many delicious looking meals prepared like I was at a cooking show. They gave me a free taste of something that was quite delicious on seaweed. Then a lady sitting not to far from me received a free salad (it was not on the dinner menu) because the staff remembered her from lunch. We had already traded pleasantries(I never meet a stranger) and she asked for a extra plate then split it in half for me. I would have never ordered seafood that I can't recall if it was tuna or some other fish small and cubed with watermelon slices. It was delicious. I ordered the Emeril's Martini and ordered the Emeril's salad, the Lobster Fettucini with a side of Caramelized Sweet Potatoes and for dessert I had the Salted Carmel Creme Brûlée.
It was a joy watching the person cooking my meal. Coincidently, the lady beside me order the same as my entree. She got the guys attention and commented how joyously he worked. His response was I have to be happy when cooking as those feelings go into the food. Who would want mad feelings in their food! I loved his response. And when I took my first bite, I knew his words were true! It filled my mouth with happiness and the taste was absolutely delicious.
I can say that every moment in the restaurant was a wonderful experience. There are a few dishes I will need to try on my next visit. And there will certainly be a next time! Thank you to the staff at Emeril's! Y'all made my night!!
We were visiting from out of town and the last time I was here I didn’t get a chance to experience Emeril’s restaurant so I made it a point to book a reservation while I was in town. The stuffed clams were amazing and I will be dreaming of those till I can return and have them again. We also ordered the fried chicken, which was moist and paired well with the cauliflower Mac and cheese. My friend ordered the beef tenderloin and she said it was cooked to perfect and only wished it also came with the Mac and cheese after she had a bite of mine. Can’t wait till I can return again.
Absolutely amazing across the board. Having grown up watching Emeril’s show, I wasn’t sure if I was walking into a tourist trap or an elegant homage. My experience was a beautifully curated menu, charming, knowledgeable and personable staff, and a beautiful snapshot of classic Creole cuisine, kicked up just a notch. We came for lunch right at 11:30 and it wasn’t too crowded, even as service picked up over the lunch hour. Any noise was definitely a communal delight over the flavor and quality of the food and cocktails. We did the gumbo of the day, two entrees, and then two desserts, plus a handful of cocktails. A gorgeous romantic anniversary celebration that was well priced for the level of finesse and service. Maybe avoid if you have young children, more of an adults playground, but excellent for couples, friends, and families looking for a special NOLA experience. Emeril always focused on family and flavor and you could tell that those were the foundation of the menu, staff, and decor for this restaurant. 10/10 will return anytime I’m in town.
We went for our anniversary and they really made our night very special. Food was wonderful!! I loved the bbq shrimp and the lamb t-bones!
Emeril’s is an excellent restaurant and is now going to be one of our favorites in New Orleans. Our entries were excellent and the service was very good. The bar scene is energetic and always crowded. This is always a good choice when dining near the French Quarter. Highly recommended and you will need a reservation.
Glad we were able to dine at Emeril's while in town on holidays. Fantastic experience and a highlight of our trip.
Visiting New Orleans with friends and stayed near convention center. Really wanted to experience an Emeril restaurant and this exceeded expectations. I think we had every app and salad option in effort to taste as many different things as possible. The excellent staff recommendations were also the tables favorites, so don’t hesitate to trust them. Would definitely recommend.
The Resturant was very vibrant and lively; service was very slow but they did communicate. Difficult to include one additional person in our party based upon the seating arrangements.
The duck was tasty but dry; pork chop was very large and moist so different ends of the spectrum.
Food was great. I had the pork chop. My husband had fish. The stuffed clams were awesome.
Meal was fabulous! The pork chop was so tender and the banana cream cake is a must.
Food was an awesome experience. Service was great. We loved it.
Old friends get together. Hadn’t been in many years. Food and service were as good as we all remembered.
Great at hosting large business lunches. Anytime I am in town and need to hold a business lunch with 12-15 people they are always a goto!
Second time dining here and the service is exceptional. Both times sat at the kitchen table tops and as it should - the kitchen was immaculately maintained.
Great way to spend our anniversary lunch.
