We had the three course dinner and everything was excellent. I had the bbq shrimp and my husband had the beet salad. My main course was the short ribs and he had the chicken. The entre comes with sides and the portions were large. Neither of us finished our meal because we knew dessert was coming. He had the pecan pie and I had the brownie . Everything was very good and the servers were prompt and friendly.
My server was awesome and really nice. The hostess was rude and prune faced, seems like she felt I shouldn't have been there. The food runner set my food across from me, however no one was across from me. There was a space for my food in front of me😐 weird or unprofessional?! 🤔 I'll take the latter. Food! Good Drink? AWESOME.
One of the best meals I've ever had. I started out with the barbecued shrimp. AMAZING! For dinner I had the pecan crusted Texas redfish. It explodes with flavor! For dessert I had the banana cream pie. Best dessert EVER! What a great dining experience. Thanks Team Emeril!
We showed up early for our reservation and were seated immediately.
There were 3 servers that rotated through helping us and they were all very friendly and made some great suggestions.
If you’re in the area I’d highly recommend eating here. I would come back here just for the red fish entree I had.
We have been coming here for almost 10 years to enjoy Thanksgiving Dinner and this time also did not disappoint. They greeted us by saying welcome back without us saying we had been here before. The food was awesome. I've always enjoyed the clam chowder and this time I had the salmon and my mother enjoyed the pecan crusted red fish. The servers are very attentive and the atmosphere was casual and cozy. I highly recommended Emeril's New Orleans Fish House. We also go to Table 10 on other visits to Vegas and I'm very sad to hear it will be closing.
This was my 4th trip to Emeril's New Orleans Fish House in Las Vegas over the last several years. Also have been to Emeril's in New Orleans twice. I am always 100% satisfied with the quality of the service and the food. The portions are really good. Sometimes you leave hungry from a higher end restaurant but that is never the case at Emeril's. We had a couple appetizers and ordered a couple sides. Everything was Excellent!! They assign 2 servers to your table (there were only 3 of us) so you are never wanting for anything.
We were asked if we were ready to order, before we ever had been asked if we wanted anything to drink. We had to ask for a wine list. We were again asked if we were ready to order, before the wine ever arrived. We felt very rushed, like they really just wanted us to order, eat and go.
The decor also was very boring. I've eaten at one of Emerril's restaurants in New Orleans and it was amazing. This does not fall in the same category. Overall, the food was good, not great, but good. The dining experience was below average.
Chef deconstructed to meal so I could control the sauce. The fish was fresh (even for the Vegas desert) and cooked to perfection. Only hiccup was bartender didn’t seem well versed in cocktails and when I asked about different wine, he did not tell me about the 1/2 bottle option which was a better wine than the single Chardonnay offered. Need better training of bar man.
Love Emeril, but the food here was just okay - sorry to say the gumbo was sub-par. The service on the other hand was wonderful. Our waiter, Ivan, was friendly and knowledgeable and attentive. Drinks were also good. Overall, it wasn’t a bad experience, but I can’t say we’d return.
My husband and I celebrated are 20th anniversary this year and I wanted to make a point to visit Emeril’s place in Las Vegas this year. While our experience was fantastic and the food great our 5 year anniversary at his place “NOLA” was exceptional. Highly recommend both.
Saturday night, October 28, 2017, we went to dinner at Emeril's Fish House at the MGM Las Vegas. It was a special occasion. VJ Germano greeted us, his warmth and elation to see us set the tone for a beautiful meal. He remembered all of the items we ordered during our last visit, which always amazes me. He makes us feel like family.
For an appetizer, we had the Jumbo Crab Cake with Mirliton & Pepper Chow Chow and Lemon Aioli. This time for my main course, I ordered the Lamb served with House Made Sausage, Goat Cheese Pickled Pepper Potato Cake, Raw Vegetable Gremolata, Romesco, and Red Wine Demi. The lamb was cooked perfectly, my compliments to the chef. For dessert; I had the Banana Bread Pudding served with Fosters Sauce, Caramelized Bananas, and Vanilla Cream. Oh my goodness, it was delicious.
The food, the ambiance, and the service were immaculate. We had the best time that night. My heartfelt thank you to VJ and the staff of Emeril's Fish House for everything. We hope to see you all again soon.
While trying to enjoy my dinner with my husband, the table next to us had two young men using offensive language and one of the men had his head on the table because he was so inebriated he couldn’t sit up. I wish the manager would have handled the situation better rather than allowing this to happen and disrupting dinner for the rest of the guests.
