Emeril's New Orleans Fish House

Good experience. Was there for a business dinner. Would appreciate more wines by the glass with a variety of prices.
The venue, food and service were excellent. However the tables are extra wide and the noise level was extra high,
so having a business dinner was not a great choice.
It took two hours for our food to be delivered.
The food and the service was amazing!! This was the second year in a row my daughter wanted to celebrate her birthday here.
We enjoyed our meal there very much. Fabulous service, delicious meal and priced right!
The signature dish, the pecan encrusted red fish over grits was just okay and the grilled vegetables were mushy. We won’t return. Sorry, Emerill

Have been here before and liked it. I wasn’t really in love with it because some of the preparations on the food were not my favorite. However, this time they had made some changes and I really enjoyed everything. My entire group had a great time. The servers were attentive and on top of everything. The food came out efficiently and was beautifully prepared. Will definitely be back here again.

Emeril's New Orleans Fish House is one of my favorite restaurants in Las Vegas. The bbq shrimp is amazing and I love the crab bisque. If you like fish it really is the place to go. If you like steak they have you covered as well. The service is top-notch and Chef Ken has put together an amazing menu. I highly recommend it if you are in Las Vegas. It has a great vibe and doesn't break the bank like other restaurants at this level.

Amazing service, delicious food. We brought a crabby toddler celebrating her 2nd birthday, we were worried she’d act up, (she did) and our amazing waiter responded so patiently and kindly, he meant the world to me and my husband. 5 out of 5 can’t wait to go back (hopefully kid free next time 😂)

This was our best dinner in Vegas! The restaurant was a great mix of casual and fine dining, service was fantastic, wine selection quite good, and food was terrific. All 4 of us raved about our meals (the BBQ shrimp was great, also the gumbo). Spices on everything were delicious and satisfied people in our party that like hot, but also those of us that love taste over heat. Will definitely be back next time we are in Vegas. Oh, and corn bread for the bread service - yum!

The gumbo is out of this world. I had the pecan crusted redfish which was very tasty along with the veggies and grits!! We have dined here before and will again the next time we come to Vegas.
Had not been there in over 10 years. The restaurant needs some updating, but the food was as good as ever. The pecan crusted red fish was outstanding as I remember. And the banana cream pie .. best ever!
New Year’s Eve
Based on past experiences, we ALWAYS have high expectations when we dine at an Emeril's restaurant. Tonight, the Food was good, the Service was very good, but the overall dining experience was a bit disappointing. However, we attribute most of that to the increased business of a New Year's Eve night.
The drinks, a Hurricane and a Spicy Bloody Mary were VERY GOOD! For an appetizer we started with the Broiled Oysters which where OUTSTANDING, but we received five oysters instead of six. Our Server made Tyler, the General Manager, aware of the mistake. KUDOS to our Server (unfortunately his name was not on our receipt) and Tyler for a SUPERB Recover to that mistake!!!
For dinner we had the Pecan Crusted Redfish and the Grilled Chicken Salad. The plating presentation of both dishes was very good, but the flavor profile of the Redfish was just AVERAGE. On the other-hand, the flavor profile of the Grill Chicken was Very Good.
Overall, this was a Good Dining Experience on a very busy night. We suspect a regular dining night could/would be VERY GOOD to OUTSTANDING. So we would and will return to Emeril's New Orleans Fish House at the MGM Grand during our next trip to Las Vegas.
Service is always exceptional, server made some great suggestions and sommelier explained wines well, will definitely be back.

The banana cream Pie was delicious & the red fish was amazing.
The crab cakes were absolutely fantastic And the creole seafood boil was out of this world. Would definitely come back again
I haven’t been to Vegas in more than 15 years and was very glad to see Emeril still had a place in the MGM. It has always been great and still is. Best service, great food, interesting menu and did I say great service.

Everything was great. We had the Lobster Pot Pie. The lobster was cooked perfectly and the entire meal was delicious.
The food was great and the service was very good we had a table of 18 and the meals came out quickly. We saw this restaurant on a food show in Australia and thats why we wanted to dine there.
It was a dining experience from start to finish! Can’t wait to dine there again.

Early Christmas gift
My anwere is both yes and no. I would recommend it for the taste of the food and the ambiance was great. The service was mostly great although we had an unusual wait time in between our appetizer and main course. I wouldn’t recommend it because the value of the food was not so great. For two drinks, two bowls of soup and two entrees it was over $200. The portions were very small, but delicious, for the price. We ordered the surf and turf special, and it was a small steak, small piece of salmon and undercooked roasted potatoes.
We went there for our 25th ! It was fabulous! Every item. They also included a complimentary dessert and it was to die for!! The crab cake was amazing ! Everything on menu is fab!!! Service is best in Vegas .. the food generally in Vegas in pricey on the strip but it’s worth it here with the fabulous food and service!
The good service should extend to the entire dining experience. Ordered a final glass of wine prior to dessert, ate dessert and still no wine. Waiter wasn’t happy I asked to just cancel the glass. Didn’t apologize and seemed agitated to remove it from the bill. Great food but don’t ruin the experience over a glass of wine, especially on a $500 check.
I'd recommend Emeril's for their menu. While traveling for business, I had dinner at Emeril's on both nights because it was one of the few restaurants within MGM that offered good vegan/vegetarian options.
On my first visit, everything was great, from the hostess to the server. The server was especially impressive to me when he returned to the table confirming I have a note on my OpenTable account requesting something healthy and vegetarian; WOW! I dare say it's the first time anyone has commented on my note. The food did not disappoint; it was great. I had a kale salad with quinoa - the flavors were amazing.
On my second visit, it felt like I was visiting a different restaurant. Don't get me wrong, the food was equally good. I had their cauliflower "risotto" - ingenious! The service on the other hand was not at all the same. First I was told the restaurant couldn't take me until hours later. When I inquired about the bar they said, 'oh sure'. I then inquired about one of the vacant high top tables (where I sat the previous night) and was initially told I couldn't sit there because the plates were big and the table could be wobbly (huh?) When the hostess confirmed I could sit there she debated with the second hostess on who would escort me to the table. I was handed the menu and sat myself.
On the first night, service was prompt; the server even place the napkin on my lap. On the second night they dropped the napkin on the table as they walked away. It was even hard to determine who was serving my table, I had a different person every step of the way.
Hardly the same experience; it was so disappointing.
