Emeril's New Orleans Fish House
Chef Emeril Lagasse gives his original Las Vegas restaurant his signature 'Bam!' with a menu of market fresh fish, shellfish, steaks and his "New New Orleans" twist on Louisiana's Creole cooking. A wine list that received Wine Spectator's "Best of Award of Excellence" and one of the Strip's best Happy Hour and Reverse Happy Hour menus makes sure that here you'll always "Let the Good Times Roll."
Michael , Anthony were our servers & were amazing & made our experience not to forget ! Made the ladies always waited in first! All dinners made it to the table same time! Dessert is a must the banana cream pie can’t wait to go back again some day when we are visiting Las Vegas again
It was great to try something new. The seafood boil was good other than the potatoes being undercooked. The pecan crusted redfish was delicious. It was very loud the night we were there. Not sure if that is the normal but made for a bummer date night. Service was wonderful. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful!
Hard to talk...food was good...very crowded
Great restaurant, a little pricy but worth it. Definitely a great idea to book in advance!
Have eaten at Emerils Restaurants several times and never disappointed.
This time in Vegas and we were pleased with our wait staff, food and familiar menu.
Chose fish dishes and they were both great and I was able to have my favorite Emerils dessert- banana cream pie as there is none like his. My wife who never gets dessert tried the bread pudding on my recommendation and she ate every bite.
This used to be a nice great ambience restaurant, the service and food were always outstanding but now not so much from the nit so friendly hostess to the service and food totally disappointing
The food here was good, albeit overpriced. The real problem is the service. Inexplicably, we had two waiters, neither of whom took responsibility for us. There was no coordination between the two. The server couldn’t tell us the differences in the oysters on the menu... IN A SEAFOOD RESTAURANT! We had to ask to order our entrees. We decided to splurge on the $56/plate special. When it finally arrived, it was lukewarm and had crab shells in it. Ultimately the manager tried to make things right, but it was just not a good experience...which is really too bad as the food itself tasted good. Emeril’s needs to rethink its service. Very disappointing overall.
Chef Emeril is a favorite. I personally enjoyed his Delmonico steak restaurant better since I am not a seafood fan but my husband enjoys this restaurant. Pork belly was too fatty for my liking but the sauce was delicious and sweet potatoes soaked up in sauce were also delicious. Husband enjoyed the salmon. Loved the cappuccino pie dessert with the nice “Happy Anniversary” written on it. Chocolate martini also delicious and husband happy to see Italian grappa on menu.
Food lacked some flavor... would have expected more powerful flavor for a traditional NOLA dish like gumbo. I would be interested to know how closely “Emeril” is really involved.
We got together on a special outing to
experience again & share our enjoyment
of Emeril's memorable cornbread.
The food was good & portions generous.
Service was excellent and we went home
with extra cornbread! 😄
Best cornbread we have ever had!
So worth going back for! 😄
Excellent meal as always. Always a favorite stop in Vegas. Met the manager, Tyler, a real gentleman. Don't leave without the banana cream pie dessert
The food was overpriced for the quality of food you got. Although fairly indicative of Las Vegas restaurants. The food choices were mostly super rich and buttery. Not bad, not stellar either.
Food was not good at all. I felt all we paid for was his name. Seriously disappointed. I was so looking forward to the meal too.
A disappointment. The seafood (redfish) was very good. The rest, mediocre. Vegetables rather boring although cooked properly. The salad needed seasoning and had to ask for more dressing as it was barely dressed. The roasted pear was barely roasted and was tasteless (not ripe).
Great food & awesome service! We will definitely be back on our next trip to Las Vegas!
Expected more since we’ve been to Emeril’s restaurants before. Ordered old fashioned and realized I forgot to request my bourbon. They graciously remade my drink but it never tasted eighth so I’m not so sure they made it fresh. The redfish was overcooked but the crab cake was very good as was the beet salad and lobster Mac. Good but not great.
We have dined in most of Emeril's restaurants. The food and the service is always magnificent! Emeril's New Orleans Fish House is a different story. The table we (party of 4) were seated was really bad. The table is tiny and could not accommodate the food and the drinks we ordered.
Here is the worst part, some of the food we ordered was bland and others were too sweet. They use this brown sauce and it's horrible. All you taste is the sauce... you can't tell what type of seafood we ordered. Needless to say, they need a new chef and new GM. Service was awful!
Service was very good. Food was tasty. Was disappointed that scallops were not on the menu anymore. The restaurant is very open to the hotel and all the people walking by. Wish it was a little more tucked away/private.
Had 4 in our party. Three had the redfish, which was ok and 1 had the grilled octopus, which was over cooked and rubbery. Also ordered the lobster Mac and cheese, which was quite good - creamy and flavorful; the broccolini, which was way undercooked and the grilled veggie plate, which was mostly undercooked. With the veggie plate was a quinoa base that had no flavor/seasoning at all.
The highlight of the meal was a slice of the banana cream pie. Those who ate raved about the pie.
The service was excellent! We began our meal in the back of the restaurant where it was nice and quiet. About half way through the meal a large business group came in and were hovering and talking loudly right next to our table. The manager came over and apologized and moved the group back - we were appreciative for that. He offered us free desert for the inconvenience, which was very nice, but not necessary.
Overall, the service was great and the meal was a disappointment. For someone who is know for big bold flavor, the meal was a bland nondescript expensive disappointment. We will not be going back.
Awesome meal, start to finish.
We all had the tasting menu with wine paring. and it was delicious and plentiful. The wines were good - nothing extravagant. The red was particularly tasty. I suggested Emerils for our celebration since I had been to the New Orleans restaurant one year ago - this site did not disappoint. It’s nice to find consistency
Outstanding food and service. We were treated like King and Queen as we ate dinner at Emeril's. We will most definitely be back. Amazing food that just watered in your mouth!
Excellent food, presentation and service. Pricy like Las Vegas has become.
An excellent choice for our anniversary dinner. Ivan and his assistant were attentive but not fawning. The cornbread was moist and sweet and we could have enjoyed it all but we had more food coming. We shared the Jumbo Lump Crab Cake as our starter. It was the best crab cake we have ever had. It put all the other ones to shame and I’m afraid I am spoiled for life. My husband had a perfectly seasoned rib eye steak with smashed potatoes and I had the delicious and generously portioned Pecan Crusted Redfish. The pecan pie was small but tasty. Next time we’ll save room for the banana cream pie.
After seeing the recommendation from Wolfgang Puck on Food Network for Emeril's Banana Cream Pie, we had to go and try it while in Las Vegas. It was very disappointing and very expensive. The pie was completely tasteless. We did not have dinner...only went for pie.
Easily the very best clam chowder I have ever had! I love good chowder, and this was tasty with the perfect creaminess. I could have made a meal of just the chowder. Truly wonderful.
Good food in an open relaxing environment. Not particularly fancy which was good and varying types of dress so you can wear what you want. Staff was generally great though we did have one waiter that was obviously intent on working one table..... the remainder of the staff took care of that issue without having to be asked.
We have been dining in Emeril's restaurants for years, as my hubby is from New Orleans. We recently planned a dinner prior to the Jimmy Buffet concert. We were pleasantly surprised at the overall quality of food...from the yummy oysters (they were overpriced), to the delish bbq style shrimp, we reinforced our commitment to the brand. And the bonus was that MGM now gives a 10% discount to military familes~! Thank you MGM and Emeril's for supporting our troops.
The frog leg appetizer is amazing. Also, my lobster pot pie was incredible and the pastry puff it was in was fabulous. All four of are meals impressed everyone at the table. And the service was awesome. THANKS
Food was outstanding as always
Great food and service! One of the few restaurants in Vegas that changes its menu!!
The food is fantastic in typical Emeril form. The menu was surprisingly small and limited. The restaurant was designed well, however it still felt a little like a “mall” restaurant. All in all a good choice.
I'm originally from New Orleans and unfortunately this was a disappointing experience. The menu is not really New Orleans, it seems that it has been sanitized and homogenized to suit the average diner, not to provide a true New Orleans experience. The service was spread thin and so we were often looking for our waiter and we were served two different wines that had expired. Overall a big disappointment. I would not return or recommend to others.
Emeril's Fish House is always a MUST everytime we visit Vegas. Never disappoints, good service and great food
We had a wonderful dining experience at Emeril's. We celebrated our friends' twin daughters' 20th birthday with a fabulous meal, great service, cake, and delicious cocktails.
Great spot for team dinner
Very poor service. Server did not introduce himself or ask us how our meals were. Made this special occasion very poor
Food was very bland - menu selections very limited and nothing conducive to what is expected by Emerald - servers clothing was very scruffy, especially the hostesses appearance- servers were great
It was a lovely dinner prior to seeing a show. My husband and I had never. even here, but our friends love it!! We started with drinks and some appetizers. Then came a couple of different salads. We had a variety of dinners.. gumbo, crab cake and nut encrusted red fish. Wine order got mixed up but all was rectified! Great meal and I would come back again. We were all too full to even think about dessert!!
Everything tasted amazing. I was a little disappointed with the special. It was supposed to have scallops (1), and a slice of pecan pie (it was about 2 spoonfuls worth.). I would still go back, but I think Emeril would have left hungry.
