Emeril's New Orleans Fish House
Chef Emeril Lagasse gives his original Las Vegas restaurant his signature 'Bam!' with a menu of market fresh fish, shellfish, steaks and his "New New Orleans" twist on Louisiana's Creole cooking. A wine list that received Wine Spectator's "Best of Award of Excellence" and one of the Strip's best Happy Hour and Reverse Happy Hour menus makes sure that here you'll always "Let the Good Times Roll."
We watched the football game at the bar. Food was amazing. I had the best fried chicken sandwich and fries! Followed with the banana cream pie which was to die for! Great time and food!!!
Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous...............................!!!
The food is very good. Our group of nine fad the seafood boil, the lobster pot pie, and salmon that I remember. All quite good and my friend raves about the lobster pot pie. The gumbo appetizer was very good, not great. Also enjoyed the frogs legs. Great servers and friendly staff. My adult son swallowed something wrong and was in a lot of discomfort (not the restaurant’s fault at all) and the server and manager were just great. We would go back
It was incredible, we had a great time, and great waiter, Anthony.
Our dining experience was fantastic. We were having dinner prior to a show. We were asked when we were seated if we had any time constraints to ensure we were able to dine and still make our evenings concert. The service was first class and the food was delicious. We were treated to a special desert on the house since we were also celebrating or anniversary. I would definitely dine here again and recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys well prepared creole food.
Excellent service and an even better meal. I would highly recommend it.
The cornbread, gumbo and pecan crusted fish were amazing. The servers were very attentive.
There were 5 of us and everyone was very happy with their meal. I had the seafood boil which was delicious and for dessert we had the chocolate cake dish ( can’t remember what it was called) which was amazing! Recommend it! Also felt that pricing was affordable. We ate at another high end restaurant the night before and felt is was just ok and paid double the price.
The staff were great! Enjoyed the meal, only sorry I didn’t have room for the banana cream pie 🙃
Dinner before Eagles concert.
Still outstanding, but the service has gotten worse recently. I've been twice in the last six months, and both times the service staff have not been especially friendly or attentive. I expect more out of an Emeril's property, but I'm not sure I'll be back to the Fish House. If I'm going to spend this kind of money on a dining experience, I want the service staff to at least be interested in giving a great experience.
Perfect! Food and service amaxing
Great location and fantastic food. Try the Frog Legs! They are fantastic!
The food was excellent, service was poor. Long wait for our food although the restaurant wasn't busy.
Service was a little slow at times but overall experience was amazing
Service was excellent. Food was amazing, as you would expect it to be.
Food was fantastic, service was great ( maybe to attentive). Portions were plentiful. But it is all about the BANANA CREAM PIE!!!!
Great service with knowledgeable and friendly staff. I recommend the clam chowder and shrimp and grits.
Outstanding! From the oysters to the service it was a fantastic lunch! We will definitely be back.
Overrated. I got the pan seared Halibut and it was overcooked and dry. My wife got surf and turf. The turf was good but the surf was chewy and seemed poached.
Emeril Lagasse's restaurants provide a uniformly excellent dining experience. We have eaten at 6 of his restaurants and have had a great experience at each one. The New Orleans Fish House was marvelous. The menu is faithful to Emeril's New Orleans culinary background which we truly enjoy. The cuisine is lively and very flavorful, but not overly spicy or hot. Most should like the style. Service is friendly and very professional. This is simply a group of restaurants that you can rely on for a top flight dining experience.
My salmon was excellent as was the cornbread. My husband had the jambalaya with sausage & shrimp and it didn’t agree with him.
The staff was friendly and very accommodating. They did run out of part of the Halibut Special but waiter made suggestions on a good substitute.
Noisy, but good food and fast paced atmosphere. Would recommend before a show.
Everyone from the hostess to the servers were very cordial and we were seated right away. We wanted to eat at a restaurant in MGM Grand because we were there for the Eagles concert. It was also a friend and my birthdays and they made us a brownie ice cream sandwich, comped. This wasn't he first time we've been to Emeril's New Orleans Fish House and it won't be the last....Good times.
I'm a return customer. Halibut was perfect. Wonderful dinner with outstanding service and recommendations from Michael.
This was my first visit back to Emeril's New Orleans Fish House after a number of years. My memories of my first visit were still in my head when I sat down for dinner on a Thursday evening. And while the food was good, it seemed much about it was following a formula gone a bit astray. While my crab cake was large and meaty, the breading and other ingredients used to help form the patty did little to really showcase the crab meat- which was a real shame.
The flat iron steak combined with shrimp was prepared as one would expect with the beef proving very tender, if a bit salty, but was not accompanied by a sauce or other elements to help lift the dish to the next level.
Unfortunately this meal did not leave the same impression the last did. I worry that with age the effort to continue to elevate has gone from this restaurant. While you will get a good meal it won't be something you will remember much past the evening.
Dental meeting in Las Vegas.
Delicious! Very fresh seafood and the service was great!
Overall solid spot at mgm grand. It is one of two go to business lunch spots at the hotel. I like the wedge salad with a side of salmon. Salad was a bit overdressed but still good. Super busy during conferences so be prepared to make an hour lunch more like 90 minutes.
The food was good, but nothing was outstanding. The service was excellent as well as the cocktails and dessert. Like much of Las Vegas, the food was overpriced -- especially given the small portions. Ingredient quality was high, but the flavor was lacking. I wouldn't identify this as high-value New Orleans cooking.
Birthday, was a great experience and the food and service were awesome!
Great early Birthday Dinner before Aerosmith. The server asked when the show started and made sure they got us out in plenty of time. The Redfish and Seabass were perfect and the Banana Cream Pie was fantastic. I would highly recommend.
The service was Awesome the food Excellent! This place didn’t disappoint. Thank you for the excellent experience
Once again we had another amazing meal. My wife and I eat here 1-2 times a year when we are in Vegas. The food and flavors are always awesome. The bbq shrimp are one of our favorite. We also love the 4 course tasting menu so we can try different dishes.
Outstanding service and delicious meals. Well satisfied with our experience there.
Waited over an hour for our entrees and once we asked where our food was, it magically appeared. No clue why we had to wait so long for our food but when it did come, my coworker’s salmon was still raw. No excuse for such poor service.
Everything was delicious. My husband tried frog legs for the first time and loves them. The service was excellent as
The attitude of the wait staff was “hurry hurry hurry” very little time given to ask questions and no suggestion were made.
