Emeril's New Orleans Fish House
Chef Emeril Lagasse gives his original Las Vegas restaurant his signature 'Bam!' with a menu of market fresh fish, shellfish, steaks and his "New New Orleans" twist on Louisiana's Creole cooking. A wine list that received Wine Spectator's "Best of Award of Excellence" and one of the Strip's best Happy Hour and Reverse Happy Hour menus makes sure that here you'll always "Let the Good Times Roll."
Everything was good! Gumbo is the best! Service was good. Atmosphere is good. Food is solid!
Delicious food, impeccable service. Went for Thanksgiving and was the best turkey I've had. Expensive but you get what you pay for. Worth the splurge.
The food was good, but our waiter was cold and somewhat inattentive. I expected much better service.
I had the seafood boil the corn and potatoes were not all the way cooked. And the clams and muscles we not all the way open so they were not cooked all the way and the sausage was not cooked all the way.
We enjoyed a delicious Thanksgiving dinner at Emerile's in the MGM Las Vegas Casino. Definitely a meal to be remembered.
A wonderful Thanksgiving meal at Emeril’s. The special menu items were delicious, service was perfect- not rushed at all. Only criticism I have was the background music- more fitting for a nightclub than an elegant meal.
There were two couples in our party and two birthdays to celebrate. We started with an amuse-bouche consisting of smoked salmon and microgreens on top of a cucumber slice. Then the cornbread arrived. It had a slightly crumbly consistency and sweet taste. After that my salad arrived. I ordered the kale salad. It was a nice mix of salty and bitter flavors. Saltiness came from the hummus and bitterness from the kale, broccolini, and radishes. For my entree, I ordered the signature pecan crusted redfish. It was a generous portion of fish accompanied by a brown demi glace, grilled garden vegetables and Anson Mills grits. The sauce was a nice complement to the fish, but the fish was also good on its own. The vegetables were a bit more than tender but they were mostly little summer squashes that can stand some extra cooking. Finally, the grits were amazing! I like texture in my grits, so I liked these very much. I may have to finally pay the higher retail price and get some for my own kitchen at home. Our server was attentive throughout the meal. He shared with us that he has been waiting on tables at this restaurant for 17 years. His experience clearly showed. We were all stuffed at the end of the meal, but we found room for a few bites of the birthday complementary ice cream sandwich.
Food was delicious we ordered Gumbo, frog legs and shrimp in garlic butter as appetizers we got a free tuna poke appetizer and free dessert for anniversary which was great! Steak was on point with the roasted garlic , spouses salmon was cooked to perfection. Love Emeril restaurant since trying in Louisiana
Excellent service from staff but food I ordered wasn't impressive. Seafood pasta was stiff and fried shrimp was too salty.
The wait staff went out of their way to accommodate our time crunch (as we we had tickets to a show and only an hour to dine)
We never felt rushed..and the food was excellent!
Birthday dinner/ First time in Las Vegas
Yummy food. Awesome can cocktails. Great service!
We enjoyed our meal, both fish selections were very good and the service was fine. The only disconnect was the wine list that was disproportionately overpriced for a mid-range restaurant. Poor selection of value priced wines but plenty of very high priced wines that belong in a different venue.
Overall the food and service were very good. The gumbo was excellent, but the BBQ shrimp were a tad over done - a bit chewy. Red fish was moist and flavorful and the crab cake great. A lot of crab with only enough "filler" to hold it together Wait staff accommodating to our desire to enjoy our cocktails before ordering. Not wanting a dessert but just a taste of chocolate, the waiter got me some chocolate curls from the kitchen; which was great. We have dined at several of Emeril's restaurants and have never been disappointed.
Outstanding food and service!
Consummate service, with the most unobtrusive yet attentive waitstaff. The seafood boil was outstanding, and the banana cream pie was enormous and satisfying. One of my favorite dining experiences in Vegas, and comparatively reasonably priced.
Michael, you are the bomb! Great suggestions and very personable. Total experience...
Our waiter rushed us and hovered but the place was empty. Food was not great like I usually expect from a Emirel location. Wont ever go back
Easily one of the best restaurants in the city if not the country. Unique menu, love the gumbo and the Creole/Cajun items. Exception service and attention to detail.
Lisa was super friendly and helpful she made for a very pleasant experience for me and my wife.
Food, service, everything was up to our expectations. I’d happily come back here to dine. Love the New Orleans flavors.
Great service, enjoyed talking to Manager and sommelier, waiter...
Michael , Anthony were our servers & were amazing & made our experience not to forget ! Made the ladies always waited in first! All dinners made it to the table same time! Dessert is a must the banana cream pie can’t wait to go back again some day when we are visiting Las Vegas again
Delicious! Everything from the drinks to the main entree. Service was top notch and the food was amazing!
It was great to try something new. The seafood boil was good other than the potatoes being undercooked. The pecan crusted redfish was delicious. It was very loud the night we were there. Not sure if that is the normal but made for a bummer date night. Service was wonderful. Staff was knowledgeable and helpful!
Hard to talk...food was good...very crowded
Great restaurant, a little pricy but worth it. Definitely a great idea to book in advance!
Have eaten at Emerils Restaurants several times and never disappointed.
This time in Vegas and we were pleased with our wait staff, food and familiar menu.
Chose fish dishes and they were both great and I was able to have my favorite Emerils dessert- banana cream pie as there is none like his. My wife who never gets dessert tried the bread pudding on my recommendation and she ate every bite.
This used to be a nice great ambience restaurant, the service and food were always outstanding but now not so much from the nit so friendly hostess to the service and food totally disappointing
The food here was good, albeit overpriced. The real problem is the service. Inexplicably, we had two waiters, neither of whom took responsibility for us. There was no coordination between the two. The server couldn’t tell us the differences in the oysters on the menu... IN A SEAFOOD RESTAURANT! We had to ask to order our entrees. We decided to splurge on the $56/plate special. When it finally arrived, it was lukewarm and had crab shells in it. Ultimately the manager tried to make things right, but it was just not a good experience...which is really too bad as the food itself tasted good. Emeril’s needs to rethink its service. Very disappointing overall.
Chef Emeril is a favorite. I personally enjoyed his Delmonico steak restaurant better since I am not a seafood fan but my husband enjoys this restaurant. Pork belly was too fatty for my liking but the sauce was delicious and sweet potatoes soaked up in sauce were also delicious. Husband enjoyed the salmon. Loved the cappuccino pie dessert with the nice “Happy Anniversary” written on it. Chocolate martini also delicious and husband happy to see Italian grappa on menu.
Food lacked some flavor... would have expected more powerful flavor for a traditional NOLA dish like gumbo. I would be interested to know how closely “Emeril” is really involved.
We got together on a special outing to
experience again & share our enjoyment
of Emeril's memorable cornbread.
The food was good & portions generous.
Service was excellent and we went home
with extra cornbread! 😄
Best cornbread we have ever had!
So worth going back for! 😄
Excellent meal as always. Always a favorite stop in Vegas. Met the manager, Tyler, a real gentleman. Don't leave without the banana cream pie dessert
The food was overpriced for the quality of food you got. Although fairly indicative of Las Vegas restaurants. The food choices were mostly super rich and buttery. Not bad, not stellar either.
Food was not good at all. I felt all we paid for was his name. Seriously disappointed. I was so looking forward to the meal too.
A disappointment. The seafood (redfish) was very good. The rest, mediocre. Vegetables rather boring although cooked properly. The salad needed seasoning and had to ask for more dressing as it was barely dressed. The roasted pear was barely roasted and was tasteless (not ripe).
Great food & awesome service! We will definitely be back on our next trip to Las Vegas!
Expected more since we’ve been to Emeril’s restaurants before. Ordered old fashioned and realized I forgot to request my bourbon. They graciously remade my drink but it never tasted eighth so I’m not so sure they made it fresh. The redfish was overcooked but the crab cake was very good as was the beet salad and lobster Mac. Good but not great.
We have dined in most of Emeril's restaurants. The food and the service is always magnificent! Emeril's New Orleans Fish House is a different story. The table we (party of 4) were seated was really bad. The table is tiny and could not accommodate the food and the drinks we ordered.
Here is the worst part, some of the food we ordered was bland and others were too sweet. They use this brown sauce and it's horrible. All you taste is the sauce... you can't tell what type of seafood we ordered. Needless to say, they need a new chef and new GM. Service was awful!
